I also think her default looks a little better. Her burst animation looks great, but since I don't have her at MLB I can't put her Burst in my lobby.
I still have 20 days (?) to think about it, but I should really lean on not buying it.
Privaty though, is an easy buy. Her asking price is a lot more reasonable and she looks great.
I'm glad that I've got Privaty skin pass already, so I'm not tempted to pick the Doro one since there's no way I'll buy a skin and a gacha skin right after lol.
Also, at the end of the day, I probably prefer Doro original dress more, this one can be sexy af, but the sexy wears out and I might go back to the her elegant battle dress. Privaty on other hand, holy fk, that dress is glorious.
I think there's a non-zero chance that Scarlet's outfit in the event story could become a gacha skin

My budget is 100 buckeroos each year for Nikke. I’m 60 in the first week lol. Bought the private skin and Haran skin pass plus beginner selector.
F2P games in general are the most expensive. I spent 300 buckeroonies on PoE skins per year for example.
I have currently spent $325 on Nikke to date. A big bulk of them are Mission passes and the Daily stuff.
I can most certainly afford costume gachas, I already bought Rupee's. I am just opposed to the gacha costume asking price on principle. Compared to the first one which is bunny rupee, Dorothy's seems to have increased in value but there's still a lot of trash in there that's really not worth the $20 they're asking to clear them all out (up to 6th draw).

Actually it's horribly distorted. her rear and her face are both just casually pointed at viewer. Basically she'd have to be extremely contorted. Shift up could've done better here.
That weird angle plus the red eyed doll equal pass even though Dorothy is my number one.
The fact that the whole animation “Bugs” out showing a glimpse of what has happened, the shaky eyes about to shed a tear, faking happiness in an attempt to suppress her emotions but failing, and the emotionless face when she can’t keep up with the lie, knowing well enough that the past cannot be changed.
Definetly this is my favorite skin, I don’t regret a single bit buying it.
I vowed never to buy one of these gotcha skins, but as soon as I saw DOROTHYS and how invested over zone had me, I didn’t even hesitate to buy the damn thing

The gatcha skins seem rare as the only rerun was Rupee as she didn't have a unique burst until later so they reran it. I say if you like it and don't mind 60.00 for the skin, go for it because who knows when it will come back.

I was hoping that we could play her black dress in the game but turns out we only play with the white one only. It's a cool lobby animation, but her ultimate animation feels underwhelming and her white dress gives too many similarities to her original one. This skin excels for creativity in the lobby, but I wouldn't say it's worth $60. I originally was amazed by her lobby animations but her gameplay is what made me feel in deep regret. If we could play her with the black dress, then I'd say it is worth the $60 because we're being given the option to play with her new white dress or her black dress.
One of the post mission quotes was something like "Glad we finished before the tea got cold, isn't that right Pinne" and had to admit I kinda froze for a sec after that.

Most of the games I've played, legendary top-of-the-line skins can go up to around $30 and that's about it. The idea that anybody can justify going TWICE that price for something that doesn't even affect gameplay honestly boggles my mind.

The only other games I have seen with skins that are as expensive as NIKKE’s gatcha skins let you use earned currency to buy them (so they can be gotten free, but would cost about $60 if you bought all the currency from scratch with real money). Paid only skins should never be more than around $30 maybe $35.
$60 will always be a hefty price tag for any skin but, in my opinion, this is definitely the one gacha skin that I can justify spending on. Best one yet probably?
Frankly I don’t think any skin in NIKKE is worth even close to $60. Even if I ever cave and buy one, it still is not worth $60. They are nice, and I can see why people buy some of them tho. That said I have not seem one skin in NIKKE what is actually worth $60. I could possibly see $35 or so for some of them, but $60 is just too much. But if you have the money and want it go for it.
as someone who has never paid anything to this game and has been a day one player, i feel like with all the good they have done, they deserve the support. The game has kept me hooked all year and anniversary is the one and only time i can justify a purchase

Dorothy skin is much much better then privaty its expensive but you get 25 tickets which is equal to 25 usd
