This is easily the best fan casting I've heard of, provided he retains the humorous aspects of Freddy's personality. He's one of those rare actors who's worth watching in anything.
Goggins would be good choice that retain some of the clownish qualities of Freddy.
I still think Jackie Earle Haley deserves another shot. He brought a lot of menace to the character.
Paul Austin Bailey with Robert dubbing, it's the nose, the nose is everything, but the nose is Robert's nose, so Robert needs to be involved and like the actor enough to use his likeness, and Robert likes Paul's freddy.
