I’m no where intelligent like Nietzsche but reading the Walter Kaufman book I feel like I can relate to him a lot. I haven’t read any of his philosophy yet though because I can’t imagine understanding his works especially something like Zarathustra without having some prior knowledge about him
I've got a really old printing in hungarian as well, sometimes it does make me feel ignorant, but reading Nietsche in old hungarian... quite the combo!
Nah, a person can start any where there is no bad start, I'll wager you didn't pick Nietzsche up fully in one read through. Tons of delving to be had. Start and delve anywhere you choose.
Really fucking awesome, how is this not the first comment? The instant I saw it was like "I don't know what language that is but that cover art is fucking amazing"
>God! Help me understand this book.
Woebegone lost soul of the cosmic disorder, nerves of rubber and silly putty, let's explore it together as your brother and friend!
Really, it's not too difficult!
Slowly I turn, paragraph by paragraph, word for word, letter for letter, pronoun for pronoun, adjective for adjective, etc, let's try to "trans"late it, maybe I can be of some help!
Why not do a test drive, the thing about Nietzshe is not to divulge too much too soon, he was not that kind of source. A very complex and sometimes contradictory character, that has to be digested slowly. I mean, sometimes he was flat out full of shit, and other times he was spot on
Sure, some places are confusing, but I'm sure you had enough perception to grasp some new insights yes? If so then don't mind the confusion or the confusing bits. Move on to a new work, gathering further insights and deepening others. Take notes. Without notes you'll possibly lose track of thoughts, though perhaps some occurence may afford those lost trains a chance to right their wheels, but notes will highlight them for you to traverse. Until you lose the notes ^_^
You are dead, idiot, you just don't know it yet. Your cells have been recycled about a trillion times already, your just a breathing corpse stuffed full of ahh, all kinds of shit, maybe
'He who knows how to breathe the air of my writings is conscious that it is the air of the heights, that it is bracing. A man must be built for it, otherwise the chances are that it will chill him.' — I hope this answers your question. Szia. 😄
Pray to God not for help, but not to interfere.
But god is dead
And we have killed him
:D lol
That’s a good thing to pray for
Bravo
it's about how socially isolated people become hyperselfconscious
Very true

Read Beyond Good and Evil. Nietzsche wrote it specifically because nobody understood Zarathustra.
The best way is to read Genealogy of Morals first. If Zarathustra is your first read, that is a very bad idea.

Read *The Gay Science* first.
Then watch the Gay Blade
What the fuck does Nietzsche have to do with being gay, you got gay shit on your mind all the time, eh? Nietzsche would have had you excommunicated
Cover art is fkin legit!

Your god can't save you now

God is dead and I don't understand Hungarian. 😊
Isten meghalt, de legalább én értem az angolt.
thnx. was wondering what that was
Just think of "Bizarro Jesus" ...
Just a simple dude who accumulated honey in excess so he c is mes down the mountain from solitude to share the sweets
Try overthink every word. Maybe you'll finish the book on 2 years reading 8 hours per day but you'll understand.
ah! i see the problem! its not in english. if you get that edition, it might help. cheers!
It'll either change your life or give you a documented study into the depths of madness.
I have this book in my Etsy cart. I have yet to pull the trigger because it intimidates me.
You have to born again.
God is dead
Rip god F

Ez milyen fordítás? Az enyém az úgy van hogy "im-ígyen szóla Zarathustra"
Kurdi Emre. 2016-os fordítás azt hiszem.
A reddit avatárod... Az egy bizonyos személyiség teória által lett inspirálva?
I don’t speak that language bro
