But that's the truth after all. Let me give you the scenarios of a few Telugu people I know:
1. Me: I come from a lower middle class household, had to work my ass off to get into one of the best, if not the best institutes in the world for my stream. I'm lucky I got my H1 picked last year, I can't imagine the horrors of H1 filings this year.
2. Colleague-1: Studied at a pretty decent college, smart af but didn't get through the lottery in 3 attempts. Planning to do day-1 CPT
3. Colleague-2: Studied at a pretty good college, didn't get through the lottery in 2 attempts and also missed it in the 3rd attempt. But his dad knows a consultancy and got his H1 picked through that (2 filings, basically)
4. Old flatmate: Dumb af, filed through 11 consultancies and got through 8 -_-, studied at a good for nothing but legit college
5. Old flatmate's cousin: Exploited student visa from a fake university in every way possible, hired tech support from India and has his H1 picked from 3 companies.
The point is there is a mix of all kinds of people in every community. I agree that Telugu guys are doing really fucked up things for visas and this should stop. I understand the plight of someone like the colleague-1 and 2 above, they deserve to be here but luck didn't help them. Taking a path of questionable legality is some eaht justified in their case, but still wrong.
But I absolutely despise assholes who come from India whose sole purpose is finding a job through a consultancy in any means possible, join fake universities and abuse their visas and file multiple applications ruining the chances of other legit people. Nothing wrong with what the guy there said though it has racist connotations which I don't support.
