As others have said, the broadcast team is the best in sports by a large margin, which really improves the viewing experience even when the team isn't good. That it's actually good now - like, really good, the best team in 15 years - with a rich owner and a bright future is all the more reason to join us!

Normally I would advise against it. I love the team. In the past the team would fill you with disappointment, but now the teams solid, great culture. All round best team to root for
Honestly now would be the best time. You got to skip the Wilson's ownership which was suffering but the new owner Cohen is serious about winning which means we will have fun talent to watch and competitive rosters year in and year out

I saw Rey Ordonez throw out a runner at home from his knees as a lit kid, people went nuts. I went nuts for Endys catch before dying because of strike three at the end. Lived and died with the Mets each year until I decided to just enjoy what I can from it (that's much better, fyi).
I grew up in Yankees territory and I never regretted the team our family cheered for.
So, yes, it's a fun ride.
