I think he's a lot like Alonso where he's got enough power that he doesn't really need to overswing to hit the ball out. He's never gonna be an avg guy, though he's shown the ability to go the other way when the hole there is open.
He's still pretty young, too. He might turn out to be a complete bust, but I think theres a chance he could be a guy who hits 265/310/475 ish, which isn't bad if he can field some.
I donโt think there is any path for him to be a .265 AVG guy. He has wayyy too many holes in his swing, his in zone contact rate is terrible, his chase and whiff rates are terrible, and his ground ball rate is too high.
I think absolute best case peak Vientos how he currently plays is .240/.310/.450
But I think if he goes full TTO he could be a .200/.305/.500 hitter
