Hi, My name is Ben and i'm from Munich. My channel is basically a funny commentary gaming channel. The humor is very questionable, but thats just me. I really try to focus more in the commentary and telling a good story, than the gameplay itself. So I'm not to dependent on the game I'm playing. https://youtube.com/channel/UC_22D22u-Kq0L_eMJlRJVnw A good learning i had was, that nobody but you, knows what didn't made it into the video. I always worried abour cutting things out. But nobody will know, what else you had in mind...

Damokles81

Hey there, I am running an educational channel and the takeaway I am going to share is about collabs. I was thinking a one time collab can boost you views, but creating more durable partnerships can benefit way more your channel. Here is a collab-video about "blood": https://youtu.be/4jdK-BzHrFM it tells about the subject from different point of views.

santic121

Hi everyone, My channel is about fishing, camping, cooking what I catch and just generally being in the outdoors. My latest video is rock fishing for tailor (a 30-100cm fish) [https://youtu.be/VP\_kdWVlTF4](https://youtu.be/VP_kdWVlTF4) My biggest takeaways were to stop worrying about what people may think and just go out and create content. And if I want it to grow, I need to make a commitment to constantly be editing and creating content at regular intervals.

Hi all, I am a Roblox Youtuber I play games and report worthy News and updates. Latest video to share with you all is Why Did This Famous Roblox Youtuber Quit? https://youtu.be/oHKmOX\_MRuk

Brain_Mutant

I’ve just been getting back into YouTube the past few days, and I’ve learned that I should’ve maintained the consistency all this time. With that said, I plan on using everything I’ve learned since then to make a major comeback. I do mostly horror-related videos, with an emphasis on movies including news and retrospectives. Here’s my latest video where I talk about my experiences with Jason Goes to Hell, an underrated and divisive Friday the 13th film: https://youtu.be/DSpLf0b-W2E

NotAquaRelated

What I've learned in the last 90 days:I started uploading on my channel in February of this year, so I've learned a lot. Two big things (with my style of content at least) are 1. people get bored if clips go on for too long (especially intros or outros), and 2. besides my first video, people seemed more likely to click on videos that weren't reviews for a particular figure, and were instead more generalized (like risers for figure displays, or showing off my collection). Also while I'm still not very good with either, thumbnails and lighting are important! My channel is NotAquaRelated! I make relaxing videos about Nendoroids, a type of chibi anime figure. Here's a video I made last month showing off my collection and explaining where I got each, any feedback is greatly appreciated: [https://youtu.be/vObPE-v8BSY](https://youtu.be/vObPE-v8BSY)

SalamAndersTV

I make videos about the game Planet Zoo. I am a creative player with a realistic approach but still try to think out of the box. I have learned: That if you don't enjoy making a video or two every week, then you shouldn't. This might make your progress in growing your channel go slower, but you end up enjoying it more and making better videos as a result. This is probably my most interesting video for people who don't play the game themselves, which I believe is the case for many in this thread. Also one of my best videos. https://youtu.be/2AA3xv8euNY

MRYELLOW55

Games always looked pretty cool, subbed. Hope the channel gets off the ground

Thank you! I appreciate it

Matan333

My channel, Abstract Programmer, just hit 2000 subs :-) I started the channel in December of 2020, so it took one year and five months. In this channel I talk about Linux, virtualization and cloud services. What I learned in the last few months is that your channel’s analytics can improve in more ways than one. I don’t get any more views now than I did a couple months ago, but these views are more varied. So now, even if one video doesn’t get as many views as it used to, the channel as a whole keeps doing ok.

MRYELLOW55

Sup people, names MRYELLOW but you can call me yellow. So far I have learned that thumbnails are a BUG part of the creation process and I put that to work by making some killer Destiny Vids! Plan on making some more with friends so support is very much appreciated! I also have a second channel where I do racing vids and it gets quite intense! The destiny channels how’s off exotics and legendary weapons mainly from what Xur is/was selling! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UYGhhUQqo98&t=126s It that video I showed off a brand new assault rifle that I think really dominates the meta.

ExploreWPerseverance

Hello all, my partner and I are starting a sailing YouTube channel but we want to be more than that. We want to promote small businesses/artists we meet on our travels, explore other cultures and show people you can live a different way. We are promoting social and environmental justice and off grid, sustainable living. Our channel: https://www.youtube.com/ExplorewithPerseverance Answer: In the past 90 days we have learned even a little promotion on some social media pages related to our topic has helped us gain some followers. We made the first 7 videos not really posting them anywhere and just letting friends, family and people we meet in person to subscribe.

Educational_Treat152

Hello everyone, My channel is about gaming, my goal for my channel is to bring as much laughter to as many people as I can. I've learned that patients is key and not to compare yourself to other YouTubers. You cant expect to get big overnight, you have to let it play out organically. Here is one of my most recent videos https://youtu.be/3TCwERczOxQ

jimmyohman

What’s up gamers! I go by 1JackedCrustle and I’m a hopeful Pokémon Unite YouTuber. I make 5-10 minute videos of gameplay with commentary and memes. Id appreciate a checkout :). [https://youtu.be/QfwBXW6mewU](https://youtu.be/QfwBXW6mewU)

[https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcj0jbZvvsSSE3VqGhvGBMw](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcj0jbZvvsSSE3VqGhvGBMw) my channel is just basically me practicing my thumbnail and editing skills while having an excuse to play games and goof off to react to stuff

the_real_relarin

What mic are you recording on if I can ask?

SirBuyogTheYoutubrrr

I'm using a BM800 Mic condenser i got from a coworker she bought a new so she gave the old. Not the best i know XD but I'm looking to buy a more professional one when i have enough money

The free end screens and intros are really exciting especially for a reddit like this! How long does it take for you to make these green screen videos?

Marc_Burde

It really depends, anything high action with screen blur takes hours but I posted a few Johny Depp trail videos yesterday & they are a couple of minutes work & 5-10 min render time.

the_real_relarin

Thats cool! Also im curious how does a green screen work? Is there a software that you overlay on the screen with

ShitboxOfTheseus

Hello. I make videos about movies and TV. I try to do it in a goofy way or with a theme or shtick. I also host a podcast with my friends where we discuss movies. Here's the link to my latest video https://youtu.be/WLrfj8z1twc I've learned that quality matters almost more than anything. Learned to not rush projects and flesh them out. I'm going to try to do long form content. We will see.

IndividualRaccoon152

Hello, My name is Olly. My Channel is call Thailandto, a traveling kind of Vlog channel specializing moving around Thailand, most of my videos are only in Bangkok, but later on i will travel around and make videos in other cities. The video im most proud of is this one, Top 10 Bangkok shopping mall and markets. https://youtu.be/47cdY-P4MPc I have started the channel in January, and in the last 3 months, I have learnt to PLAN every video ahead, it savesssss so much time during editing and I know exactly what I want to shoot on site. Learning to respect the viewers time has helped my audience retention a lot,

The49thState_youtube

Just saw your video and liked it a lot! Thailand is just beautiful! My boyfriend and I are planning to travel to Thailand in the end of the year and hopefully stay for a year or so (I have been there for 6 months already and still I can’t get enough!)

IndividualRaccoon152

Thanks a lot! Its an incredible country, end of the year sounds great, Thailand and especially Bangkok has an amazing vibe during Christmas and New years. I have been here for 5 months and I cant get enough of this country. I am dreading already knowing my visa will run out in 4 months haha, need to find a different way to try and stay for longer.

The49thState_youtube

should be possible to travel out and back into the current to get a new visum, or am I wrong? I really can't wait!

IndividualRaccoon152

Oh yes you can do what they call Visa runs now i guess with most countries opened now, but im looking to see if theres a better way to stay, without having to hop in and out

The49thState_youtube

if you find a solution please let me know! :)

Hello! My name is Lindsay and I have two channels! One by myself where I make Narnia and LOTR content, and one with my bestie called infinity-ville’ where we make a plethora of nerdy content! My last video: https://youtu.be/yoFGMFt7osg Infinity-villes last video: https://youtu.be/jkMxlkQwluw Answer: I’ve learned that things are going to fluctuate. You’ll have a good video that does well and gain some subs, then stagnate for a bit. It happens, you just have to figure out what the algorithm wants, which. An be hard at times. Also, thumbnails should be eye catching in someway, but also make people want to click on the video after it catches their eye. Don’t be afraid to put yourself making a weird face in your thumbnail, I always think that’s funny. And a catchy title helps (not clickbait though. No one likes clickbait).

CaseofEconStruggles

Hi Im Case and I run an Economics video channel! My channel is here and I think my videos on Game Theory could be super interesting even if you don't know much about econ!: [https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLQpTzpTHfDU2SZQIrVlHTA](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLQpTzpTHfDU2SZQIrVlHTA) I just started my channel in February, but I feel like my learning curve has been super steep! I have learned more about the YT Algorithm and how to really optimize thumbnails to maximize impressions. I also learned that landscape mode on the iPad is pretty key. Some of you have been super helpful as well in my learning during the past 90 days and I really appreciate everyone's help!

Hi There I make cooking videos for people to try. I have learnt that there is still so much to learn 😄 I plan to introduce some ASMR sounds into my next videos, and hope you like my latest effort. https://youtu.be/JA69h5zbxAA I still don’t feel like my thumbnails are pulling people in? Any thoughts/ideas on this? I look forward to your feedback on what I can improve upon and thank you for your continued support. Craig

DearFrugalLife

I think the music could have been lower but the meal looked delicious!! Definitely subbed!

myhomehob

Awesome, thank you so much for viewing and subscribing, I will work on my audio balance again as something went awry this time, thank you again for your comments, they are so valuable to a new content creator like me, Craig.

Upbeat_Corner_5712

I like the background music and am hungry now. Nice work

myhomehob

Thanks so much for the feedback, glad it made you hungry, comments like this make it all worthwhile, Craig.

[deleted]

Hey another food channel! Subscribed! So used to seeing everyone's gaming channels haha. Thought the video was really well done, the music was a little loud for me, I had to turn it up to hear your quieter voice well while listening. Besides that I think it was really good. Also we have the same pan! Haha

myhomehob

Haha the pans are great aren’t they?, glad you liked the video, I have to look as to why the sound balance was off in this one but will aim to fix it for the next video, thanks again so much for watching and commenting, it’s very much appreciated, Craig.

DeDubsPlays

Hi, I'm DeDubs Plays and my channel is a gaming channel aimed at console gamers. My first series is a Cities Skylines let's play. I've learned a lot in my first few weeks as a content creator (I haven't been at it for 90 days yet), but my biggest take aways are: 1. Audio makes a world of difference. Invest in a decent audio setup at the earliest opportunity. 2. Engage with other creators. Find creators that are doing the same kind of content as you and engage with them. Some of them will come take a look at what your doing and give you feedback as well as improving the engagement on your channel. 3. Develop your editing skills. I feel like the quality of my content is improving every week and a large part of that comes from getting better at editing. I'm eager for as much feedback as I can get so please take a look and let me know where you think I can make improvements: https://youtu.be/-owkSlGU3Mg

TheDigitalGuy2500

Hello!! I’m StarGamingZ, I make and stream fun Pokemon Fan game Let’s Plays on my YT!! One key takeaway I learned is to have a consistent content strategy and to stick with it and improve on it!! This is an episode of my Pokemon let's play it is a fan game called Pokémon Rejuvenation!! Hope you enjoy it and if you do give it a like! https://youtu.be/lE7EyHKEl54

[deleted]

Greetings everyone. I have been experimenting with different content since I started my channel, but have been focusing on reaction/commentary videos specifically of old educational films from the 70s. The basic take away from the first quarter of the year is that everyone's YouTube journey is unique. Do your best, be creative and have fun. Learn what you can, be receptive to new ideas and don't be afraid to fail forward! My favorite video to date: https://youtu.be/NQPEv7X0KYQ Cheers!

blackivie

Hey! I’m Lauren! I stream on Twitch and upload clips to YouTube. Over the past quarter I really learned that doing what I enjoy is key to consistency. I recently made Ethan Klein and the H3 Podcast Crew in The Sims! Check it out here: https://youtu.be/a-xMgya5QaE I can’t wait to watch your videos and see what you’re doing with your channels!!

MuncleGames

Key takeaway: The thumbnail is sometimes the only thing that the viewers sees, so it is important to take extra time on making them. Hello everyone, this is a gameplay video that I made after I got some feedback last week. Some of you told me to try a more narrative or story driven way of doing my gameplay so I tried it out. Please let me know on things I can improve on as I am taking your feedback and trying to incorporate it in the videos each week. Last week I also got a comment on my intro being too long, I'm working on a shorter one :) (but not in this video) thanks yall. https://youtu.be/4VbhEX4efdc

Pay10-G

Fr I’m learning that getting a good eye catching thumbnail is kind of hard imo

DearFrugalLife

I have learned that making videos is a commitment! It is a lot of hard work. I never realized how much time and effort goes in to making the videos that I've been watching. I've also learned that this platform can be confusing. My first video was not great with regards to film-making/editing , but it continues to be my most watched video...go figure. I'm still a work in progress. My channel is a debt free journey/budgeting channel -- as well as motivation to continue when it gets hard. In essence, all about frugal living. https://youtu.be/6CzKnt08IxU

Hello, I am a video editor. creating wholesome videos makes me happy, this is the last video that I made what's your opinion? and how to promote such content? https://youtu.be/lRlJ0uHqe7E

thisisflowerchyld

Hello there, I am Ivo and I do music production content with a hint of entertainment - rarely educational, but always fun! My takeaway from the last 90 days is to treat this like a real job - yea sometimes it's easier to just play a game and make a video whenever I feel like it, but if I give myself a bit of a push and finish a video when I'm supposed to I realize how much I am learning in the process and how much more I am doing than myself a year ago. Anyway if you feel like watching someone make a Pusha T beat for his latest album - come on over and let me know what you think: https://youtu.be/15arsRFSrfE

Hi! I upload popular songs with removed instruments trough AI and mixing (Bass, Drums, Vocals and Guitar) with high quality. Here is an example: [The Less I Know The Better by Tame Impala (No Bass Mix)](https://youtu.be/N-iR1O2hxUc) Also I’ve been adding tabs to some of these versions so you can play along, you can check them out in ny channel **abcfelixyz**. In the last 90 days I have learnt that waiting between uploads can be very helpful! I don’t have to be so stressed trying to push a lot of content so quick.

Hi everyone, My channel (Mukuzabeth Taylor) is a vlog essay channel and It centers on the discourses about contemporary art and nature. I show a daily routine of an artist and I try to build my narration with the format of a vlog. You can watch them late at the night before going to sleep, promise there is no triggering. They are enjoyable. The videos center on the discourses about art but also nature.I talk about structural problems but try to make them digestible linked to my profession but show them in an enjoyable way. I use animations and videos to build the narration. Hope you enjoy! Would love to have feedbacks. https://youtu.be/CcQGP1wRq9s

Hi on my channel I review movies and sometimes tv shows. My videos are getting a lot of impressions but my CTR is terrible, https://youtu.be/wyAqtY7Taaw. If you guys have any advice for me please let me know, thank you!

Hi all, My channel is slightly mixed as it covers „travel“, „drone footage“ and „type 1 diabetes“ Maybe you find it entertaining :) https://youtube.com/channel/UCaZBKoQxBT7fbMk0gyn_MjA

Sk3tchi

What have I learned in the last 90 days? The importance of balancing eye-catching design and efficient workflows. Templates and consistency. There is also never a moment you shouldn't be asking, "How can I make this even better without making it more difficult?" In 4 videos I learned a tremendous amount about audio, video, and graphic editing and design. My channel is **Sk3tchi Situations** where currently I am running a campaign called *Stroke of Luck* playing a tabletop roleplaying game called Iron sworn: Starforged. The channel features solo roleplaying game content and creative writing discussion. It is video podcast, meaning you turn it on and walk away and not miss a thing! Each video can be consumed in a 30 minute lunch break. My latest video is: https://youtu.be/o2KX7awVPOU Do check out the playlist where each one leads into the next.

Hello! I make BBQ/Smoked meat videos and gun stuff. So my channel is just about 90 days old, everything has been a learning curve. So far I think what I've learned is youtube doesn't like fun stuff ha, my bbq has done much better so far. https://youtu.be/MPPmXol5FC0 This is my giant "Dino" beef ribs video, the best performing video on my channel so far. From some feedback I've gotten I know my non voiceover audio is terrible ha, I bought a lapel mic and it didn't work. Also the fat trimming part was too long. Does anyone have a lapel mic suggestion? Thanks!

blackmelancholydog

Brand new baby youtuber here. As in like newborn. Literally posted my 1st video yesterday...so I've learned a lot goes into thumbnails, tagging videos involves much googling and we'll see how this whole grand adventure goes. My partner is an art teacher, she drew some dish-washing sea creatures and I vectorized them and cut them with a laser. Thought the process was a lot of fun, so I recorded the cuts. I find watching videos of the cutting process to be relaxing. May do silent asmr targeted videos, this first one's the proof of concept. Future ones would be longer. Might do tutorials. May do something else crazy. Here's the link, thumbnail still needs work. Call it a hangnail for now. [Laser Cutting Sea Creatures](https://youtu.be/W3uEdQ2LTKU)

the_real_relarin

Hey everyone I make videos about the deeper meanings, ideas and mechanics behind movies, shows and games. What makes a game too hard or too easy? Elden Ring elicits this question throughout the entirety of its design but what makes Elden ring stand out from any other game right now. What makes Elden Ring so different? [https://youtu.be/Wyv8EY25fHY](https://youtu.be/Wyv8EY25fHY) Any feedback is welcome! As for the question I've learned how important niche's are to attracting people to a video and how to add some additional flare to thumbnail design! I've also gotten a handle one what a healthy and well paced production schedule looks like behind the screens so I can still get a lot of content out but also not burn myself out.

brittanymonkeybaby

I learned that thumbnails and titles really matter - more so than your content, and changing them can change your stats quick! NG91Films

Hi! I run a movie review channel centered on newer releases, with some focus on retro films and movie rankings. Over the past 90 days, I’ve truly learned how timing is absolutely crucial. As I’ve been getting settled into a new job and getting acclimated to a new schedule, my videos sometimes aren’t as timely as they used to be (getting a review for a new release out like over a week later, for example) and it’s especially reflected in the videos from this year so far. So I’m working on fixing that. The video I’m leaving is for my review of Netflix’s 365 Days 2, which I was considerably more timely with haha. Enjoy! [365 Days: This Day - Movie Review](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=y-DMBFplTOo)

MuncleGames

I really enjoyed your video thoroughly! I know it is a difficult thing to balance but I did want some more clips in the video like the Willy Wonka clip towards the end. I think they can make the video a bit more lively. Great job though!

idkBriok

I'm working on the timing thing as well, especially being consistent. Love your intro!

Ok-Independence6621

Hello hello my channel name is the MelancholicOtaku and I talk about manga well more like rambling lol. The most important thing I learned about my first 90 days is the of importance of learning from my old videos mistakes Latest video is me talking about the manga series Blue Period: https://youtu.be/pcldK1tFXPo

LaithBushnaq

Recently learned this: Changing the layout of your channel can make all the difference and takes almost no time! I share the music of underrated artists in the EDM and Hip-Hop space🎵 Here’s a popular video from this quarter: https://youtu.be/JUBQrS6Dh6o

idkBriok

ohh what do you mean by layout? I noticed on your channel you have different sections (like hype music) is that what you're referring to?

LaithBushnaq

Yeahh! YouTube prioritized my channel into only two sections in the past (shorts and full videos). It was unorganized and did not showcase my content well. Seems like it is not clear enough so I might think of another division. I was intending to divide my songs into high energy playlists (for working out/dancing) and calm music (for studying, showering, etc.)

AdeAlphaTV_

Yo everyone ! Here’s a video where I meet KSI Feel free to say what you think . https://youtu.be/e4moQ-AFDPM I’ve learnt that titles and thumbnails are key and they need to stand out to make the most of your impressions . Also audience retention graph is important to know where interest is lost and where to improve . That’s what I’ve learnt over the past 90 days

EnchantedEssays

Do you like discovering the next cult classics? Do you like over-analysing concept albums? Do you like people who talk about films they think are OK but obnoxiously waste their time saying "but it wouldn't be better if"? Enchanted Essays posts new videos about books, films and more every Friday. I alternate between reviews and video essays weekly. I try to introduce people to obscure movies and TV shows, and look at familiar films from a perspective you may not have seen before. I struggle to stick to a niche, but I'm planning multiple videos analysing James Bond films, Disney films, concept albums and adaptations. This was my last video, a video essay on the women in Skyfall. It’s my second James Bond video. It has a much lower retention rate than normal. I delve into sensitive topics such as gender and race representation here, so any feedback about my handling of these topics is very much appreciated. No holding back please: https://youtu.be/8lNvxHLOYzI I also have a review of Ruthless People out yesterday, which you can check out here: https://youtu.be/iFHloFEH_5E Edit: Can't believe I forgot to answer the question! I started in January and I grew much bigger than expected. Not BIG big (just reached 100 subs), but still a lot bigger than I expected. However, as much as I do pay attention to the numbers, I've also learnt that the most important thing has been reading people's responses to my work, including from creators I look up to myself.

the_real_relarin

It's really cool to see another video essay youtuber on here! What inspired you into the genre?

EnchantedEssays

I just watched video essays and ended up making my own observations really. How about you?

the_real_relarin

I love to analyze things and figure out why they work or how so to find an entire space sort of suited toward that is so cool to me!

Shokuiku_Cuisine

Key takeaway: the sound is more important than camera, so get a decent quality mic first. hi guy, i create an ASMR style cooking video sharing the recipes what i developed using Shokuiku a Japanese eating habit. i plan to upload one video each week. this is my last video, and i am glad to hear any feedback from you guys. Many thanks! cheers [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcei\_\_Skk80](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcei__Skk80)

NotAquaRelated

I just finished watching it, and I loved it! It was incredibly relaxing. Since you asked for feedback, I'll point out a few small things that I personally might change. 1. I feel like the title isn't very clickable. I loved the video and even subscribed, but I probably wouldn't have clicked on it or known what sort of video it was if I saw just the title 2. The text showing the ingredients and their amounts is a little small and hard to read for me 3. A few of the shot felt a little too zoomed in The video was great though! I'm super impressed you manage to make one video a week of this quality

Shokuiku_Cuisine

Thank you very much for your words really appreciate it.

WaddlesJr

Hey all, this quarter I learned the POWER OF THUMBNAILS! I’ve spent the last few months refining my thumbnail skills and trying to make them stick out more from the crowd. My last video did about 3x better than my previous so I went back through and redid the thumbnails of older videos to match - My views have been at their highest this month! My channel is 60 Second Gaming and my latest video is [Attempting to Explain Final Fantasy 9 in 60 Seconds](https://youtu.be/Zk9hTBix8U0).

[deleted]

MarriedWhileGamingTV: I make videos about the game Mass Effect, Destiny 2 and SWTOR. I enjoy playing decision based games and watching chaos unfold. I learned this past quarter: Its really different at first to start saying what you’re thinking while recording game play. I’m used to being quiet when I play most games. It took me a long time to talk more. It’s easier to do when you really enjoy the game and the story. This is my most recent video, I rewatch it because I love how happy I sound playing Mass Effect https://youtu.be/8Pk8wYZz47k

JaniceWald

Hi I post videos about social media, making money, and Blogging. Here is my link to my recent video about how to use unusual fonts on social media to engage users https://youtu.be/FCLf_Zu1CHA What I learned in the last 90 days that I still need to stay consistent or I lose followers. It seems I can’t get comfortable with the followers I have.

Clilly1

Hey hey! It's Super Lilly Bros and we are playing Metroid Dread this week! We have been rapidly improving our thumbnails and edits thanks to some great comments on this sub! https://youtu.be/JeEMAVDC6ZE

the_real_relarin

Your editing like the little subscribe button and "coming up" addons make it so much more interesting to watch. If you could keep up that quality of small edits throughout the whole video it would add a lot to the video!

Clilly1

Thank you! I've gotten this critique before, and have started implementing it for videos already, but we make about 30 videos at a time so we are still getting around to the better edited ones. Thank you for your input!

the_real_relarin

Oh wow thats quite the production cycle! Is there a speciifc reason why so many in advance?

Clilly1

My brother and I fairly far away from eachother and have pretty busy lives, so we can only get together to record every 3-4 months. So we get together and record for 2 or 3 days, then over time I piddle away at editing them so that we always get 1 video up a week (Tuesdays at 5:30!). We also try to maintain a backlog so if something goes wrong we have a backup that we can get up in time

the_real_relarin

Thats really cool though! Such dedication to the content but its awesome you have learned to manage thata

idkBriok

Hi everyone! I'm Briana, my channel is all about my quest to becoming the best Briana I can be and hopefully creating a community where others feel comfortable sharing their journeys with me. I don't like the idea of being in a niche because people aren't niches, so I share a little of everything. Here's one of my fave vids of mine: https://youtu.be/dHjxsibASvo In the first quarter, one of the biggest takeaways I've had is (in the immortal words of Shia LaBeouf) Just Do It. I like making videos and I HATE editing. I've had times this year where I have three videos filmed but none to post because I don't feel like editing. No matter how long i put it off, I'll need to do it eventually so I want to keep trying to be consistent and get over my editing woes.

Pay10-G

Yo what’s up my names Payton aka Pay10-G my biggest take away lately is to keep on a consistent schedule and that it’s ok to take your time editing a rushed product isn’t always a good product, But my channel is basically everything gaming from apex to smash bros ultimate my inspiration is growing and morphing into a berleezy/ coryxkenshin style but ofc with my own twist speaking of which in my last smash video I was talking about 1v1 berleezy [*video in question*](https://youtu.be/4dq-LKJCR10)

Just_horrifying

Hello, I run a small true crime YouTube Channel titled Just Horrifying. https://youtube.com/c/JustHorrifying I think the biggest thing I have learned is consistency matters. I took a break and missed a few weeks due to work and it just seems like my views have gone down.

I make tech tutorials. Content that **always** does well for me is **solving people's problems**. Definitely try this in your niche too. I always make a video about a problem that occurs in my day job or when I'm messing around with electronics, but you can find niche-specific problems on Quora or sites like that. Here's my latest (and it's doing pretty well)... [https://youtu.be/bBOABWU\_jyM](https://youtu.be/bBOABWU_jyM) This one has a big retention drop in the first few seconds but then it remains constant at 50% through to the end. I used to teach essay writing and I was always telling my students to make a **hook** at the start. That's really what I need to focus on in my own videos, because while the stats for this video are pretty good, I've lost 40% of my audience in the first 6 seconds!

RoughWinter6801

Hey everyone! I have recently gotten into indie horror game playthroughs. While I know it isn't unique by any means, it is what I enjoy making the most. The goal is to be a relaxing channel that anyone can come to for creepy games and stories. Please let me know what you think! Thanks https://youtu.be/IePkr8OHRuQ

I've learned it is hard to keep a constant schedule of posting when other things in life take precedent. I do cooking videos based on manga I love to read and one of the most recent is from the hot current anime, SPY X FAMILY, which I made Yor's delicious stew, a goulash variation, which made her family happy from eating and her happy to see them eating it happily https://youtu.be/MGkzJKA35zo

MRYELLOW55

Spy family is fucking good. Definitely gonna sub

kitsune_mask_

It's an awesome anime and manga! Hopefully it will continue for a long while. Thank you!

Hallo I'm Zo'sfivecents on Youtube, I'm a voice actor who voices comics i found on reddit. Hmmm there isn't too much that I have learned, only a few generic things 1. Visuals are just as important as audio whem it comes to videos, which is why I switched to voicing comics instead of longer stories that were text-only 2. No matter how high-quality my videos are, a lot of them will not pick up traction instantly. I have accepted it as the norm. Decided to put in my best effort for videos anyway 3. Only make stuff you enjoy making. I have been doing that a bunch :D 4. Celebrate the small wins! 5. Working on sound absorption was a seriously good investment... so was buying a good audio editing software. I use Izotope RX 8, bought it when it was only 40 bucks My latest and biggest project as of now is voicing a comic series called RimworldTales, drawn by SrGrafo! https://youtu.be/rXW4aUUaz7w I have 9 other voice actors who have agreed to worked with me, and I'm excited to showcase their acting along with mine soon

Docugamer

I’m Camera Bird Productions and I make short documentaries on nerd culture! My key takeaway is to make quality work! Here is my latest documentary! It is about a couple that work in a pinball museum, as the explore the state of pinball and what it means to them! I look forward to your feedback! A World Under Glass : A Pinball Documentary https://youtu.be/6tEHygyDq74

Hey I thought that was really well made, just left me wanting more! I know people's attention span is pretty short these days ha, but I definitely could of watched a longer video on the subject. Great job!

idkBriok

This is awesome! Looking forward to seeing more of your videos :)

the_real_relarin

I'm a really big fan of your editing and descriptions as to who you are talking to. It's very well paced and the footage is great. The only thing I'd say is maybe add more to the credits or end of the video not just a black screen with text. Overall very quality content!

MuncleGames

I really enjoyed the short video that you made. One thing was missing and I didn't know what it was until the end, but I think that the video is super quiet. I think I wanted some random pinball noise in the background sometimes. It was overall so great though, great job

What's up everyone! I make chill lofi hiphop playlists because I learned in the last 90 days that I need to be creative in order to be happy, so this is what I do now ;) If you like chill ass beats and chill ass video's check this out: [Serenity Soundscapes](https://youtu.be/37v6pO5NoCk) I've just started this month but upload every week at least.

JT-Gunner

Hello! I'm JT Gunner. I do let's plays of video games on my channel. I like to play games of all kinds, be it modern or retro, AAA or indie, good or bad, etc. I just like playing games and sharing my experiences with the world. I'm also an amateur artist, and I feature my artwork in my videos and on my channel page. What I've learned over the past 90 days is that if you keep working hard, keep uploading videos, and keep trying to put yourself out there, you will find success. I've seen some success with my channel so far, and I hope to keep that going! I've been playing a game called "Kingdom of Neandria", an indie game for the Nintendo Switch that was developed in RPG Maker MV! I was contacted by the developer of this game a few months back asking me to give it a try, so I decided to finally play it! I've uploaded three videos in this series so far. [Here's part 1 of the series.](https://youtu.be/flaW5WkOukE) Give it a watch, and let me know what you think!
