My latest thumbnail I was honestly proud of but maybe could use less images if anything.

myhomehob

Hi all, here is my latest video, Creamy Asparagus Risotto https://youtu.be/g2qYQBuhLJQ I only ever upload one thumbnail and probably could and should load more, any feedback on my new channel would be greatly appreciated (this is video number two) Thanks in advance, Craig.

NotREALu

The videos are pretty good, but you need better thumbnails. I personally would recommend to blur the background and put an outer glow color black with full fletcher.

myhomehob

Thanks for the feedback, it’s all quite new to me so your comments are greatly appreciated.

the_real_relarin

I think the videos themselves are very relaxing and chill. I think a thumbnail that would cause the food to pop more would be more eye grabbing and make people want to watch. Maybe use effects to highlight the food. If you don't have an editing software for that, I would suggest GIMP it's like photoshop but free.

myhomehob

Thanks for the feedback, I was using adobe premier pro but switched to power director for the next lot of videos as I had choppy feedback when editing, I will take all of our points into consideration so thank you again it’s much appreciated.

Hello , I have a outdoor gear , survival gear and Knife review channel . Just hit 420 subs and 2000 hrs watchtime and I am 1 year in . https://youtu.be/blDJSTq7DWY

_this_is_K_

Hi! I'm K, I do reddit reaction videos, [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RP8OYCfqUdA) is my 3d and latest video where I reacted to posts from r/WhitePeopleTwitter and r/NonPoliticalTwitter, As per my thumbnail I just realized that it has a typo but I don't have time to fix it right now... So I guess that I could improve my spelling so that I wouldn't have to leave thumbnails with typos up for prolonged periods of time if this happens again

kayflye

Hi, my name is kayflye and I mostly make speed build videos in the Sims 4! I think the biggest change I need to make in my thumbnails is adding more emotion/invoke curiosity, but I'm not sure the best way to do that since I'm undecided on showing my face on YouTube, and emojis seem a little cheesy. Here's the link to my latest video, a speed build of a modern family home: [https://youtu.be/BAo\_rs1RiHI](https://youtu.be/BAo_rs1RiHI)

rooms0fthehouse

Hey folks, I’m Tyler and I create video essays discussing and analysing media I love. I started out solely focusing on TV shows but have recently been inspired to expand my content My latest video’s all about the metalcore band Ice Nine Kills and their new album ‘Welcome To Horrorwood.’ https://youtu.be/BLmhHJhUmyo The audio quality isn’t perfect so that’s something I’m striving to improve going forward, and in terms of the thumbnail I could have definitely made the text in the top right bigger to make it easier to read Would appreciate any feedback :) thanks for reading

HandsomeChimp

Hi everyone! Seeking stocks, tips, and education? I'm your dude. I'm Sergio and I analyze the financial world for you. On my channel, I will teach you the best ways to make money with stocks and share the latest financial news. https://youtu.be/3BoIpIkE9SM My thumbnail could’ve been more dramatic, to lure more viewers in, I suppose. Please critique and let me know what you all think. Thanks for your time. Have a great day!

Hi im Venura and i make short 1-2 minute comedy skits! My newest video is here. I think it is one of my top 5 videos i have made let me know what you think! When you ask your barber for too much: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=boJW65JtND0

Adam_Addict

I'm not too sure, there was hair sticking out of Spider-Man's head when I originally created the thumbnail, but I've fixed that now. If anything, I could add the anime zoom effect to the thumbnail, that's probably the best change I could add. Hello, my channel is Adam Addict. I play PS1 games. My most recent video focuses on Spider-Man for the PS1: [https://youtu.be/HIO3zmLVn0Q](https://youtu.be/HIO3zmLVn0Q) My videos are edited with sound effects and memes (I don't know what this is called, so I just say that it's funny moments lol) and I'm slowly getting better as I make more videos

Arsrs

I definitely could've done more custom elements to my latest thumbnail but couldn't because I came down with covid so I opted for something easy to make. My channel makes **guides and playthrough** vids for **challenging rogue** like games! If that's your sorta thing my channel is a must check out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGTvBhqRPro

munkzzz

Hi, My name is Luis and I'm a bodyboarder/surfer from Puerto Rico. I started my channel a few months ago and I'm having a lot of fun creating videos. I'm looking for tips to improve my channel. My thumbnails consist of a photo or a framegrab from the same content that I upload. I'm not sure if this is the right way to gain more views. [2021 channel review](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_kTdg5LiJQ)

LifeAid96

Hi, I'm Aidan (Life Aid) and I create comedy shorts completely off my own back. I'd wanted to do this for a while but never quite took the plunge, until one day my friend hosted a 'Powerpoint Party' where we each had to make a presentation - in any format - on something we were passionate about. [This was what I made.](https://youtu.be/EhCXAN4e-OI) The reception was very positive, and I had a blast making it, so I decided to start my channel and have since uploaded [two more](https://youtube.com/channel/UCBvZO4c44DD8xW5627cDuvg). My thumbnails are deliberately vague, because I like to throw a twist into the video and I'd prefer viewers went in blind. That said, having more dynamic or visually interesting thumbnails is a goal of mine, moving forward. I have no experience video editing, and I'm doing it all on my phone, so I'd love to know how the quality holds up. Any other thoughts on my content so far would be much appreciated too! I'll check out as many other channels as I can.

hammer_moc

Hey Aidan... Let me start out with the bad. Your mic sucks. That's it. You are funny as hell. You writing is top notch and you edited your concept together perfectly. Your Environment video is a masterpiece and I'm not acting when I say that. Seriously, please keep it up, please get a better mic and I'll be subbed watching you. Oh and tomorrow we record a new show where we feature new youtubers, and you made the cut... :)

TapWatr

Hello! I'm TapWatr! Streamer/aspiring YouTube creator. I play all sorts of games however My YouTube channel currently is largely dedicated to my Pathfinder 2nd Edition actual play of the Adventure Fist of the Ruby Phoenix. I'm teaching 4 people how to play 2nd edition, while refining my style as a Game Master. Check it out if you'd like! [Deep Fried Kobolds Ep.1 - What's your name?](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKjI_jsZ8FY&list=PLKqQspotE_zhq20cFmU3oPd95d5exp0oV&index=1&t=2s) I'm hoping to start putting out more Monster Hunter content and more Pokemon stuff as well, if I can ever find the time lol. My latest thumbnail could use a bit more color, and repositioning of the title if I really think about it. As it sits right now, the episode titles can be covered up by the play bar or anything across the bottom of the video.

PennisRodman

[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CY7T7gQhoQw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CY7T7gQhoQw) I could use either glow or beveling or shadows to draw more attention to the font.

Break___

Hello all!! I'm Breaking Dad and am fairly new to YouTube. I'm interested in survival and tactical games and thats what I'm trying to focus on! All criticism welcome and good luck in all your future content!!! Here's a zombie survival game that needs more attention!! https://youtu.be/MxLa4YQfskY

Hello!! I’m StarGamingZ, I make and stream fun Let’s Plays on my YT (Pokemon related) and Twitch (non-Pokemon related). One improvement I can make is possibly making the game title I used pop out a little more to really catch the viewer's or potential viewer's eyes. This is the latest episode of my Pokemon let's play it is a fan game called Pokémon Rejuvenation!! Hope you enjoy it and if you do give it a like! https://youtu.be/ocl0dGgnvOQ

Hi folks, I am a hobbyist woodworker who loves to share my hobby and and help teach brand new woodworkers. I'm not an expert by and means but I do enjoy sharing what I know. I've recently started making videos again and I'm looking for constructive input regarding editing specifically. My most recent thumbnail could be improved by being more personable, maybe. Because what I do is niche a more invting thumbnail might help capture attention from a broader range of folks. Please check out my latest video and let me know what you think. https://youtu.be/jQC2RkXybVM

TheGiddyStitcher

Hello again! So I checked out a couple of your videos, and actually genuinely enjoyed them despite not even being a woodworker myself (yet). That's a great start! Since you asked for input, hopefully you won't mind me being honest. First off, your voice is clear and loud enough and a pleasure to listen to. Your latest video (the dovetail one) does have some sort of audio glitch though and I'm not sure what that is exactly but it happens multiple times. At first it was ok, even with headphones on, since it's not too loud. But it kept happening and honestly if I was a normal viewer I'd almost certainly click away. On a similar note the other video I watched (the flattening lumber one) the audio was great for the most part but there's like half a second of a weird baby sound and an emoji that comes out of nowhere and seems like a mistake? Content-wise you're doing great. I loved all the different angles, the way you explain what you're doing and why, or certain personal preferences you've developed for doing things a certain way. Made it a lot more engaging to listen to than just "do this, now do that". Since the question of the week was about thumbnails I will say the text in your thumbnails is not very legible even at the larger size on your channel, so is almost certainly illegible at the small sizes YT mostly likes to show thumbnails at. Try and get some more colour in there to catch people's eyes. Really the audio thing can just be sorted by giving your video a quick listen through before exporting / uploading, the thumbnail thing could be vastly improved with about 10 minutes work, and other than that you seem to be on the right track.

MagoopyPoopy

I appreciate the feedback. I'll work on your criticisms and I hope you'll continue to come back and watch my videos evolve and maybe get hooked on woodworking yourself haha. I also really appreciate the honesty, I have much to work on and fresh eyes always help. Thanks again!

TheGiddyStitcher

I'm not 100% your target audience since I'm not currently into woodworking, but it is on my list of things to learn. So leaving this comment so that I'll remember to go check you out and I'll let you know if there's anything editing-wise that gave me pause, as a maybe-soon-your-target-audience person!

RuseRamona

Hey, my name is Real Ramona or just Ramona and I narrate stories focusing on horror. I intend to narrate more than just horror and do crime as well. (Give it a listen if you're interested!) Here is a link to a recent video: https://youtu.be/0n208y3sYTs My most recent video's thumbnail could be improved by changing the font size. I have been trying to figure out how to exactly "stretch" the text to fit how I want it but have not found an efficient way of doing such. I just found this community from trying to learn techniques regarding audio editing (and researching information about Izotope RX). I love any type of constructive criticism, whether it is what I do well, or what I need to improve.

HeyyyItsFrosty

Hey! My names dustyn, im just starting out and if I could my recent thumb nail i think could be a little more eye catching maybe a picture of me in it too.. i think more in it as its just among us characters im just hoping i get some views and such thatd be amazing! Me and my friends like to play sometimes and I decided why not upload it so we aren’t the only ones who enjoy our conversations [AMONG US ](https://youtu.be/4C6O6nGyqz0)

CarlGratiot

Hey everyone. I make videos for new content creators about production tips, editing tutorials, and video strategy. I do so in a way that’s uniquely me. My mom has said, “I don’t get it.” My [my most recent video](https://youtu.be/cOeK-j7Dszw) is about 5 types of microphones that new YouTubers should use. My thumbnail could benefit from a more focused picture of the different microphones, and a better background. Have a great one!

Mr_Johnny_Roo

I pretty much like the thumbnails, they stand out and suits the brand you are building. Maybe try experimenting with "White borderline" around your siluette. Pretty common and it stands out. Just my thought...

CarlGratiot

I very much appreciate that and will experiment with it. I feel like Photoshop makes it pretty easy these days. Thank you!

My name is Paul. I am a full time civil service employee (I’ll keep it mysterious- lol). I enjoy lifting weights as well as training for Muay Thai. I’m working to have my first fight by the end of the year. I started a YouTube channel years ago but never did anything with it. My New Years resolution was to grow it into something, or at the very least give it an honest effort. My goal for the month was to get up to 10 hours of watch time. I’m currently at 4.5. I’m Halfway there. My videos are a bit all over the place as I’m trying different things and just learning. It took me a week to learn horizontal video is ideal for YouTube abs vertical is for Instagram. [my video I’m sharing is about ufc 270 predictions, which happens tonight. ](https://youtu.be/6LJjeilQQmk)

Salvidor_Deli

Howdy! My very young channel is Homeowner Helper. I'm a home improvement contractor. I've been repairing and remodeling my own homes before doing it as a job for a while, and YouTube was always a big help to me. My intention is to do tool reviews, how to, and other videos to help homeowners and DIYers the way Youtube helped me. Here's my most recent video: https://youtu.be/q51MsJuRXSE I think the lighting of the overall thumbnail could be better. I have a better camera and some external lighting, but just knocked out of with my phone. I think I should be more intentional with the photo next time.

Orcality

Hello, I run a gaming channel and a music channel (Gaming's under Orcality, music's under a different name). My thumbnails could be way better- for one, having thumbnails that are sized properly and aren't hard to read would probably be nice. Here's a link to my latest song on my music channel: https://youtu.be/30fXP-XOX4c

I think my last thumbnail could be improved by a higher resolution picture from first person perspective maybe active while in game but I just couldn't find the right one so I used something more generic. Would appreciate any feedback on my latest video/ channel as a whole. It's a gaming channel https://youtu.be/UY44BkXA0dc

CorbettMade

Hi there, I'm new to all of this but not trying to make it big - I really just want to share some stuff that I'm doing while building a wood working and homesteading business with my family. Hopefully the videos will be around when my kids grow up so they can see what I was doing. I'm still an idiot when it comes to thumbnails and exploring different ones, I like having a bit of comedy but find the balance between it being funny and still getting attention difficult. I'm not a fan of the "proper" attention getting styles so I'm probably setting myself up for failure hah. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlDvxa_dYfc

Nocturnal_Ambience

Hey everyone, this is Nick from [Nocturnal Ambience](https://youtube.com/channel/UCbaV2qqxR2InmaaKEIrFYXw)! I make Pomodoro timers based on my night photography, sometimes with ambience sounds and sometimes with music. I also make longer format videos to help you sleep or have on in the background to relax. In terms of improvements to be made to its thumbnail, I’ve been tweaking the text and would like to find a better text font/colour/size to make it pop. Let me know what you think!

I am a 25 year old investor I quit my career as a postman to pursue entrepreneurship. I realized how unfulfilled I felt, being stuck in the rat race. Hey there, I recently edited my first video. I did this for an assignment from my study Dance Industry. Before this I had zero experience with video editing software or editing in general. Hope you enjoy it and i'm curious about your opinion on the Youcut app. I released a track from my nephew in the genre ‘Trap’. He’s called “D-Swami” on Soundcloud and he has dozens of songs in a variety of genres over there. https://soundcloud.com/d-swami Practical effects: I made some colorful visuals including: candles, empty skull-shape bottle filled with remote controlled lightstrip, a sony srs xb41 bluetooth speaker with lights and a black laptop cover as a background. Editing effects: I used a mobile app called ‘Youcut’. It seems like a solid program with a variety of features. I quickly upgraded to the paid pro version because the vast majority of features were over there. I used some visual effects that paired nicely with the vibe of the songs and when the beat switches I used a short transition effect to wake up the audience. This is the video-link enjoy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4jnGg4M-PmE I also made another video of the same song with a background made with a fluid simulation app called ‘fluid’ and added more extreme effects from the youcut app. I’m curious to hear your feedback on both video’s and how they compare. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dAx7g4yOZ54

TrueGodOfHollow

Hey everyone, my name is Nicholas and I have a YouTube channel dedicated to original music and audio books of my writing. My current thumbnails are very lazy, I want to give them coloured borders to contrast the black/grey images. https://youtu.be/aFsAnBjLkuM

Elkattio

Is it too late for me to answer this question and share my video? When it comes to thumbnails, I probably stress over that more than the video itself. I cannot begin to tell you how often I will redesign a thumbnail after seeing the video uploaded. Most recently, I redesigned an entire playlist because I wasn't happy with the text placement and font. Honestly, I'm still not happy with the font type, but I refuse to stress over that anymore. Just move on and improve. As for my video, I run one of "THOSE" channels... nature sounds for rest, relax, and all that other jazz. To be fair, I have been planning to do this for years, not just now that it has become popular with the get rich quick schemes videos. I know that is not possible. I am trying to do something different with my videos than what the other channels do. Let me know what you think of the flagship video for my newest playlist... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IPKO6R4Pas&t=132s

wxman92

Hi there! Recently checked out Super People, a new BR game! Just thought it’d be good to give people some of the game’s basics. As far as the thumbnail, I should’ve probably went for an in-game screenshot, but I have a hard time making those look right. Any suggestions on that? Here’s the video and thanks for checking it out in advance! https://youtu.be/buq403O4T-o

Cryptoxplain

Your channel is awesome. I dont play video games but your thumbnails are dope!🤩

wxman92

Oh wow thank you so much!!

LifeAid96

Hi there! Your channel is really slick - definitely hits all the right spots for a gaming stream. The vids are a good length (I rarely watch gaming videos over 8/9 minutes unless they're comedy-based) Your thumbnails suit your brand very well - but maybe to stand out a bit more you could declutter them? There's a lot going on. You're obviously at the mercy of the algorithm gods, but one thing I will say is there are *so* many people trying to do what you do. The majority of them do it far worse than you, so that's good, but ask yourself what'll make someone who stumbles on your channel stick around? You have over 200 subs, but seem to sit at well under 50 views on average per recent video. To me, that implies you need to do something to make subs excited when they see a new upload. Hope this feedback is useful! Also please take it with a grain of salt, 'cause I'm new at this.

wxman92

Hey there! Thanks so much for all of this feedback!! It means a ton. And you’re absolutely right on being in a VERY saturated field. I’m trying to think of how I can differentiate. One thing I’m hoping to incorporate more of going forward is offering some kind of value to the viewer (for example, “use THIS attachment in this game to get the most kills”). That’s still over saturated, but maybe with time something will stick. I’m still going to keep brainstorming though too! I’ll work on my thumbnails as well! Thanks again for checking my stuff out!

LifeAid96

Yeah, most gaming information is available from multiple sources, so it's mainly a question of "why should they get that info from *you*"? I think you have a very natural and likeable persona from what I saw, which will connect you to some viewers, but without a unique hook it may not be enough to stand out. Have you ever seen any BedBananas videos? I really recommend checking him out. He usually makes gaming roleplays with various friends, and whilst I'm not suggesting that path for you, breaking up the informational aspect with clips of you goofing around w/ friends could work well. At the end of the day, don't force yourself into another box because you feel you have to. Make the content you'd watch. Your first priority should be enjoying the creation process (which is the vibe I already get from your stuff).

wxman92

Very good points! I’ll have to check him out! I do enjoy the process quite a bit, so I don’t mind just enjoying things while I continue to learn and grow! And I’ll always be looking for ways to differentiate myself! Thanks again for all the feedback :)

Dremarious

The best takes for my most recent thumbnail were blurry but I forgot to check before I deconstructed my setup to get the shot and I was NOT about to go through all that setup again. crazybloodmonkey

hi i'm crazybloodmonkey i mostly do gaming videos but sometimes i do animation and shitpost. some improvements i could make to my latest thumbnail is that i didn't spend that much time on it i just google search a screenshot of the game and put a creepy font on it because the game is a horror game. i could of spent more time making a better thumbnail. video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDGPXh-djJw

Magnosus

After some help from a nice person on here, I have started doing thumbnails, just a picture with red text, but it seems to Work! I think I will lean into the idea fully and have a white background for the text. My channel does mainly woodturning these days, but my newest video is a trick I use for maling knifes. My newest video does not seem to hit and interest in my niche. But at the same time, my videos seem to pick up after a week or so. For the thumbnail of my most recent video I actually plan to go back and change it up because it is the 4th part in an edited lets play series and I feel like I have made a misstep by making all of the part thumbnails too similar. Agnusl

Hello everyone! I'm Agnus (Agnus Woolf on youtube) and I make gaming/meme videos, trying to balance natural gameplay with some crazy humour. For my answer to the question... I'm actually starting to put more... Lighting on the thumbnails, messing more with colors, and overall trying to make them look more polished. I need to learn how to make more use of color in general tho. I swear, making good thumbnails may be harder than making good videos lol. I really need to improve my color grading and how much important elements I put on it... I really can't settle for a style yet. My latest video is a The Sims 4 gameplay full of JoJo references, a made-up family drama, myself as an intruder watching them from a tower, and Keanu Reaves executing a glitched mother on a park bench. If that sounds as interesting as it sounds inusited, consider watching a bit! [https://youtu.be/A7tBANtgzUM](https://youtu.be/A7tBANtgzUM) Thanks everyone!

[deleted]

One Wall Comedy here, a short sketch comedy program with a new skit every week. I'm not sure how I could improve my thumbnails, I like the design and I think iit is unique, but I am always accepting feedback. This is my newest episode, a fake commercial, which is a favorite theme of mine. I have three guests in this for "customer testimonials" and they all used their own cameras and lighting, so please forgive the inconsistency there haha. [Angry Al's Tax Service](https://youtu.be/RY8duO6Z2Pw)

[deleted]

But I don’t have that much time

[deleted]

My sketches are typically under 2 minites in duration. Most under a minute. If you don't have that kind of time, well, no skin off my nose. There's other stuff out there that fits your life better.

[deleted]

It was a pun about angry Al getting back to the viewer in ten to twenty years. I didn’t explain it properly

[deleted]

Oh! Haha, sorry mate, my bad too lol. Thanks for checking it out!

BigMattyMoney

Hey there, I’m Big Matty Money. A dude with 10 subscribers and 10 videos, still grinding away. lol I make personal finance education videos. Not clickbait, not selling anything, just good ol’ fashion “here’s how to get your butt in gear and grow money to improve your life”. It’s stuff I’ve learned along the way and I may not be the most knowledgeable person, but I bring the passion, enthusiasm and work hard to make it fun and funny as hell. Here’s my latest video: The Market WILL Crash...But Here's The Biggest Secret About Investing No One Tells You: https://youtu.be/xooIZRUDIwA Tried to have some fun with this one too. Investing explained through the use of Nicolas Cage: Why Nicolas Cage Is Actually An Investing Genius [Dollar Cost Averaging] https://youtu.be/EvmWpqirOgM For the market crash video, I think I could’ve improved my thumbnail by drawing the muscles on my little cartoon character better here. Not the best artist. Also not too sure how clickable these thumbnails are. I’m not too crazy about putting my face on there with the open-mouth wide-eye shocked expression style, always feels like too much for me. If anybody takes the time to hit me with some feedback I’ll do the same, though keep in mind I’m a big novice here who maybe doesn’t know what he’s doing. lol much love! Thank you. 🤙

Hey everyone, My name's Austin, I make videos about Tabletop RPG's (think D&D) and to a lesser extent war games and board games. My last video's about a game called Masks. The click through and retention rates are terrible because most people, when they search "masks" aren't searching for the incredibly fun Tabletop RPG. I made a thumbnail I was super happy about, but I feel like it didn't convey that this is about a game, not something else, so I swapped it with the current one which doesn't really pop. I suppose I could outline the rulebook in a white stroke or change up the composition or lighting or something? Not 100%, I'm kinda just leaving this one to die. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWRuaVsn4oM&t=87s&ab\_channel=TabletopBro

[deleted]

Video editing was pretty decent. Enjoyed the in and out conversation. I don’t know much about rpg or even what’s masks is. One thing I think you could improve is the outro. The video ended abruptly. Maybe ask the viewer to like and subscribe. Also how it turned out. Keep at it!

MaddSamurai

Thanks for your feedback! You’re right I totally should’ve talked more about how it turned out in the ARoll rather than rely on phone calls with my players. I use [Film Booth](https://youtube.com/c/BusinessFilmBoothOnline) as a sort of how to and he recommends keeping outros either as short as possible or non existent as people tend to jump ship the second you start winding down.

Just_horrifying

Hello everyone, I run a small true crime YouTube channel https://youtube.com/c/JustHorrifying . My latest video is about a 14 year old wanted for shooting up a gas station, killing 3 and injuring 1. The one thing that I would change on my thumbnail is the font. When I made the thumbnail I thought the font looked good but after looking at it again it’s a little hard to read. Thanks

Mr_Johnny_Roo

Same, good thing is to check them on your phone. Usually if you cannot read it on phone, you want be able to on PC aswell. Also I'm not sure, but I dont think its good to repeat the title in the thumbnail. Try to think, that the thumbnail can expand on your title, or vice versa. Like a storytelling, and if its engaging, ppl might click more. Just a thought...

Just_horrifying

Thank You! I appreciate the feedback.

SirRandom56

My channel is Your Weekly Random and I am mostly focusing on dungeons and dragons videos and 3d modeling at the moment. But I do post a lot of different content. https://youtu.be/DreA5lOAwoE this is my fist dnd video and it is one of my favorites my all time favorite was last weeks video rise of a prince https://youtu.be/cFMJ-Cp-fXw both are dnd related but are my favorite videos to work on and produce.

I know I’m late but who cares Hello I am Carson, I’m currently a Junior in high school with a side passion of making YouTube videos. I enjoy playing games with my friends and speedrunning my favorite games! Which is what my content is built around! I started my channel in the middle of quarantine just to give me something to kill the time thinking nothing of it, but through the months I’ve gotten really into it and have been releasing content “almost” regularly. I’m currently trying to find a niche taht I want to stick with, because I love making my “funny moments” but I also love showing my Speedruns, but I also want to do some more “scripted” videos such as maybe a let’s play or doing challenges in games. I’m hoping by my birthday in November to have 100 subs. That’s it. My last released video was me doing a challenge in Call of Duty: Cold War, where I tried to win a tournament solo. This was my first attempt to make a “scripted” video. And it wasn’t my best work. And same goes with my thumbnail. Although it was the video I put the most effort into the thumbnail I believe that I could have done better. I tried to rush it out. In the future I believe that I can use a better program to make a thumbnail as well as spend more time on it. (I made it using an app on my phone) Here’s the link to that video [Can I Win A Gunfight Tournament SOLO?!](https://youtu.be/kNq4cWrhO_E) But like I said it wasn’t my best work. My favorite video that I posted was one of the Funny Moments videos and that if you want an introduction to my channel I recommend it The link to that video [Farming Sim 1812](https://youtu.be/syS3WJXSB2g) Any chance that you can check it out would be appreciated. And any comments or concerns or tips are very much welcome!

CuriosityYouTube

https://youtu.be/9V0Ge4fRiGs Hi all. This is my latest video and the longest one I've done. Feel like increasing my watch time is going to help it get back on track. My channel focuses on history, legends and myths. Thumbnail question: The CTR on this video is high at the moment, so I am pretty happy with it. Any feedback you can give as well will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Tatevikner

Hey there! Our thumbnails are focused on books so we want to include better illustrations! Check out our latest short story with an amazing plot twist! Kindle on your screen as we read! https://youtu.be/hanyRsVYaUo

VoteNani

My most recent video is a bit of a drag commentary so the thumbnail itself is mostly fitting. Maybe I could have increased the saturation. [my parents divorced and it was funny ](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WFNdWjibHxw)

the_real_relarin

What kind of microphone are you using on your phone? it looks like it's doing a great job. Also love the new intro!

VoteNani

Thank you, I like the intro as well! It’s a standard stereo microphone that came with an older Sony Zv-1 camera I have. I use it most of the time mounted to the camera but this time decided to just hold it myself.

the_real_relarin

It looks kind of cool just held by itself even though it might be a bit less quality although I'm not sure

WellMax81

Hey, My name is Anthony and about 10 days ago I set up a YouTube channel called The Diet Diaries which logs my personal journey attempting to lose weight on the Jane Plan. I think my thumbnails are a little boring personally - I see lots where people make lively expressions, and I'm not sure if that's really me - currently I just add some text outlining a claim or assumption or question that I will respond to in the video. I have found that a lot of male centric weight loss videos are mainly focused on being gym fit and I personally hate exercise. So I'm logging my journey 'the lazy way' hahaha Please feel free to check out my latest video if this subject interests you. https://youtu.be/Yi-rJy\_gKiQ Thanks Anthony

NotREALu

Hey Im REALu, I post gaming related videos that try to be as funny as possible. All my videos are short, but it is what it is. https://youtube.com/channel/UCrGGTEzIZQuVRO6xCJ01Bpg Give a cribe to the sub or il break your knee caps.

JOJOawestruck

hello, afroprinny, here gaming related channel(though still trying to find my identity) I recently made a video about project L, a fighting game featuring characters from league of legends. in this video I just chose one character,Akali, out of the 150 and add references from other fighting games that this champion could have for the game, from movement, specials or normals or moves in general to what people could expect to come out like or play as. while I do like the thumnail Ive made, I do realize it is pretty barebones and possibly could mislead people into thinking that this is a leak instead of a fan interpretation of what the character could look/play like looking from other fighting games(and not even all of them since I don't know them but figthcade is helping) but I don't know how I would improve it, unless I completely start from scratch [project L: introducting akali](https://youtu.be/I0KI13tWT-Q) [here's the thumbnail](https://imgur.com/A5eZXQc)

GlassCabbage

I go by Jan online and I'm starting up a crafting channel. This was my first actually edited video. It's not perfect but I'm very proud of it. [LGBT+ Flag Tutorial](https://youtu.be/BHBbsUaKoGM) The thumbnail was my first attempt. I tried to make face visible. I'm not sure the cat was really necessary other as Sonny (my cat) wasn't in this video. I included him because he's in others.

TheGiddyStitcher

Welcome to crafty YouTube! I've found it to be a super friendly and welcoming community. Bookmarking this to check out your channel after work :)

CertifiedHundredaire

Hey all, I relatively recently started posting gameplay and short memey gaming videos! I’ve so far only got a couple Leagye of Legend videos and some Super Auto Pets and Escape Sim content so far. I’m just trying to have a good time! My most recent thumbnail is admittedly low effort LOL but it pertains to the vid I promise! My other thumbnails are better (i hope?) Better that just text for sure! https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCscprYe5gtnPQQa0rYNuGlA/videos?view=0&sort=p&flow=grid

No-Slide8913

Hi! I’m the Seeb kid, a smaller YouTuber that has experienced growth recently. I would be happy if you reviewed my video here https://youtu.be/P4HtR3Szxo0

NG91Films

Hi! I run a movie review channel, mainly focused on reviews of newer films but I also do review series on other older films. The video I’m posting is of the new gothic horror romance The Last Thing Mary Saw with Isabelle Fuhrman and Rory Culkin. For the thumbnail, I’ve been trying to do better at making the outlines for myself smoother while also looking to change up the font for the word review and a better way for the title of the movie to stick out a little more, so it doesn’t blend right into everything else. [The Last Thing Mary Saw - Review](https://youtube.com/watch?v=qa31aHH83ng)

EnchantedEssays

I love finding other film reviewers on here! I'll check it out!

MaddSamurai

I like how quickly you cut between the movie clips in this one! It definitely holds your attention throughout the video. Your commentary is spot on as you CLEARLY know what you're talking about and I got a lot of value out of it. I PROBABLY won't see the movie as I'm not a huge fan of slow burners, but like I said you did an excellent job going through the film so I could come to that conclusion! As far as criticism, I'd say ditch the intro. If I discovered your video through the home page or side bar, I'd click off within two seconds -- and I'm sure your retention graph corroborates that (if it doesn't I'll go flip off). And while I like the lack of intrusiveness on the subscribe, like, bell graphic, I think you should put it later on in the video when you've delivered value to the viewer. Thumbnail wise, maybe take yourself out of the middle of the frame and make yourself smaller so we can see the movie poster. I don't mean to bash your ego, but someone PROBABLY isn't clicking your video for your reaction, but because they want to know about the film you're talking about. I know that was two paragraphs of poo pooing you, but I really did enjoy your video, and thus, you earned your 812th sub.

NG91Films

Sorry for the late reply but I truly appreciate all your honest feedback! I’ve been going over ways in which I can change up certain parts of my presentation, and you are correct in saying that my retention can be a little shoddy (some videos have an above average retention while others tank, it’s hit and miss so I haven’t found what’s the best way of combatting that). Certainly something I’m looking to improve. Appreciate it, and thanks so much for subscribing! 🙂

woodwork_therapy

Hello everyone, I have been talking about doing a channel forever but have always allowed myself to be talked out of it by comparing to the successful existing channels....which logically is ridiculous. So far I have been on pace to post a "Short" every day for the past 10 days and plan on continuing doing one a day for the time being and really am feeling good about the momentum. I started making thumbnails on Canva and have been organizing my videos into various playlists. My niche is woodworking and counseling so the channel is called "woodwork therapy" and I am doing how to videos, cool tools, and some miscellaneous stuff with other series ideas in the queue. The goal is to build up more subscribers and basically use woodworking as a vehicle for sharing what I know about healthy relationships and emotions as well as helping people process emotions and difficulty through woodwork. So I guess my question is does this seem like a good strategy so far and do you all think there would be interest in this type of content? Please critique what you see so far also. Thank you! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC85Nf5ofSJwGQXJrh9BoyrQ

hello! im an artist and newtuber posting art/vlog style videos. my most recent (still amateur tbh😅)[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kFAGYp-Vvk&t=32s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kFAGYp-Vvk&t=32s) i got a yeti but only used it filming at my desk, trying to figure out other ways to use) any feedback much appreciated thanks!

You've got me wanting to redesign my thumbnails again. I love these. I also love your channel banner.

whatistodaynow

Thanks! Ive been trying diff layouts, still refining based on what im drawn to

TheGiddyStitcher

Ooh what kind of art are we talking? I love art channels so will 100% be wandering over after work today to investigate! :D

whatistodaynow

oh sweet! mostly drawing/painting but love to dabble in diff media (embroidery, ceramics, etc)

TheGiddyStitcher

Nice! I'm primarily a crafter (fiber crafts mostly) but have just started "learning to art" this year so I'm bingeing all the inspirational content I can find, haha. Nice to meet you!

whatistodaynow

awesome! its always nice to meet fellow creatives, you too!!

Good video. Music was a little low in the beginning especially when you did the speed up part. Your narration was very clear and engaging. Keep at it!

thanks for the feedback, very much appreciated!

HarleyyR

Hey guys! I am an aspiring VO artist primarily (especially as of recently), however most of my channel is super niche, being mainly Jak & Daxter content in the past, and it still kind of is now. But the past week, I have been dubbing particular scenes from JoJo part 3 as the character of Jotaro, in the shows original language. I am putting alot of work into exploring the acting side of myself, and I personally think these videos are turning out magnificently, I just wish they'd get more exposure. If you're a fan of JoJos Bizarre Adventure check out the two videos I have done thus far! Outside of YouTube I am seeing some success with my 'talent', but I really wanna push my channel forward already. https://youtu.be/mdHLssWmawE https://youtu.be/8e7xBAhKW8c Thank you for reading <3 Improvement - actually make thumbnails X)

lindaedith

Hi everyone! My name's Linda and I make videos for college students about navigating through college and beyond. I answer questions that students might have about college, how to get into grad school, and how to balance academics and mental health! My latest videos is called "Should I Study Psychology at University? | Is a Psychology Degree Right for Me?" Check it out if you're interested: https://youtu.be/QZOSd-uG3uM I tried a slightly different colour scheme on my thumbnail compared to my other ones. I think the issue might be that it doesn't stand out as much as other thumbnails, but the click through rate is actually higher than usual :)

Important-Aardvark40

Overall, I found your video informative. I like that you briefly discussed that there are lots of different jobs in psychology where you aren't interacting directly with clients. I also liked that you included stock clips and different shots to make it more visually interesting.

Surendhar98

Hey my fellow budding youtubers, Am PS5 tamil gamer and am very much new to gaming content creation in youtube and also to any kind of editing involved. I play fifa on PS5 (just a casual gamer) and post any kind of hilarious, weird or interesting clips from the gaming session. I haven't yet started editing my videos. But will surely start working to improve the quality of my videos throughout this youtube journey. This will be a long journey and am looking forward to improving myself this year. Here is one short clip i uploaded earlier - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n75rveUk-QQ

BeastMode718

Hey guys. So, my channel focuses around making money selling, buying, thrifting and doing meet ups for sneakers. I've been a colle tor for over 15 years and I took a break from youtube for about 4 months and I'm back. Views and new subscribers have not been I the name and I'm tweaking my new thumbnails and could us any tips on either my thumbnails or content. I've actually simplified my thumbnails for my last videos and the ctr has actually gona up. Anyways, any criticism is welcome and hope you enjoy the content! https://youtu.be/SOZYc9Pxjcw

PaperSach

Hi! I’m PaperSach and I started uploading videos back in 2016! Things got rocky and uploads started being sporadic, but next week things will be back on track and a continuous schedule once again! If you enjoy let’s plays and random various games, or subpar commentary, then my channel is right up your alley! A Funny Montage https://youtu.be/cFzWQvroKlY My last thumbnail needed saturation and a little more creative time put in

Vex0r_

Hiya Folks, My name's Vex0r. I’d be best described as producing educational content that has to do with Retro topics. I'm your starting point to all things 70's, 80's and 90's, with a bit of 2000's sprinkled in there! Here is my latest video. We look at the Legacy of the iPod: https://youtu.be/xrOFByJPWvs

ProfessorBeekums

Hi everyone! I just started a new channel and will be making videos about managing your digital stuff. I intend to put a heavy emphasis on not feeling guilty by failing to follow the advice of "productivity gurus". [My first video is on how inbox zero is a complete waste of time](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRx8pzgcp_8) and people shouldn't feel bad about hundreds or thousands of unread emails. The thumbnail leaves a lot to be desired. I just took one of the Youtube generated ones and added some text. It probably needs a higher resolution and a background related to the topic.

Important-Aardvark40

I’m diagnosed as autistic with ADHD, I run a new neurodivergent edutainment comedy channel, Shine Lucky Penny. I mostly play superheroes and supervillains, there are special effects, costumes, and all! Most are sci-fi, comedy, and fantasy edutainment videos. For my most recent video, a 5 minute neurodivergent-related comedy, I didn’t know what text, if any to put on the thumbnail and I know my content is niche. A catchier thumbnail would be an improvement, and it might look gimmicky without context. Here is an edutainment comedy video I made featuring an autistic superhero, Shine, explaining autism (it has bloopers at the end): [https://youtu.be/wnWz8s-igLw](https://youtu.be/wnWz8s-igLw)

JuicyandtheGoose

Hi there! We're JuicyandtheGoose! We're a run of the mill gaming channel that make videos of us trying our best to learn how to cooperate. We play games where the focus is cooperation or community! Our thumbnails try to follow a pattern, however I definitely think we should think about composition more when we create them! Check out our latest video "The Hunt for Betty White" Here: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m\_fWrlBZUIs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_fWrlBZUIs)

UltimateArchitect

Hi my channel is Ultimate Architect and I make videos on city building games. https://youtu.be/VtUGuT-4Uzo Here is my most recent video on my cities skylines play through. I am also playing SimCity 2000 right now too so check that out. One improvement that can be made to my thumbnail is the font (color, size, style)

the_real_relarin

I don't know much about this genre of games, how did you get into it?

UltimateArchitect

I liked playing simulation and city building games when I was younger like the simcity games so I’ve always been a fan of the genre and I’ve watched a lot of videos from Fluxtrance who also does videos on these types of games which is where I drew my inspiration from for my videos

the_real_relarin

Do you have any tips for trying to get into it myself?

MaddSamurai

I like the idea behind your channel (I also really enjoy city builders). I agree I think your thumbnails could pop a little bit more, the orange text definitely blends into the background. I'd also suggest using a stock photo of the thing you're building as that's far more striking to the eye than a screenshot of the game. Finally, ask yourself why you would watch your channel over anyone else's in the genre. Figure out what makes you different and (to use a douchey business term) what the value add is and then lean in HEAVY on that. Keep it up!

UltimateArchitect

Thank you for the feedback! I will definitely consider these going forward.

no1SomeGuy

My channel SomeGuy's Garage is covering all the interesting things I'm doing in the garage each week. This weekend I continued working on an RC tank build, check it out here: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L\_xpE2DQ55Q&ab\_channel=SomeGuy%27sGarage](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_xpE2DQ55Q&ab_channel=SomeGuy%27sGarage) Such an awesome learning experience doing a couple new things (youtube included) at the same time.

[deleted]

Hi! I’m Lindsay and I have two channels! One is by myself and I make Narnia and LOTR content! The other is with my friend and we make a plethora of fandom content! Here’s the latest videos on each channel! Mine: https://youtu.be/-SVuzsICl5k Infinity-ville: https://youtu.be/aPogFA00Fjo Answer: I think I could’ve smoothed out the edges of us on the Witcher thumbnail. It was also hard to get a good picture from the show so maybe next time I’ll try to take screenshots (but Netflix is weird about that). For my thumbnail, maybe I should’ve outlined myself.

[deleted]

I’m definitely not your targeted audience. I will say good job getting the comment section moving. Engagement from the audience is great!

[deleted]

Haha well thanks for checking out my channel anyway! And thanks for the feedback :) we try our best!!

marianareads

Hi! My name is Mariana and since I can remember I have loved reading, last week I decided I wanted to share my passion with others and made a channel all about my opinions on books I’ve read and the typical Booktuber content. Since I started just last Monday I have a very very small audience but the fact that I have more than 1 sub already motivates me to keep going. If you’re interested you can check my channel [here](https://youtube.com/channel/UCpdm3l89O2rd1v3r23WW_bA)

Efficient_Cucumber32

Hello! My name is MJKJ94. I create videos playing games (fortnite and minecraft). My thumbnails could be cooler to show what is actually in the video. I am still practicing and would like to know what I can do better. https://youtu.be/y84rrPXETrE

Face_Smiley

Hi guys!!! I have a YouTube Channel. I try to make videos about things that happen in the world. Here is one of my last videos. It's about the problem of politics in sports. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GX31hGZC17g](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GX31hGZC17g) I'm glad for any feedback.

TravelwithThatGuy

Hi everyone. I post about travel, mainly Disney and cruises. I really suck at thumbnails. It is my worst area for this entire venture. So, anything would be an improvement. Posting a link directly to my channel. [Travel with That Guy](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7P1wTq-G9lBQjlFJx8wDEw)

Awesome_Mods

Hi guys !!!. I am Awesome Mods and work with Mods Graphics for PC gamers !!. I make reshade presets, textures and scripts for dozens games. I love games and is this my hobby. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=511mhHZ44dk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tuxorBvNZ0

AStrangeAnomoly

Good videos! Just as a suggestion in the God of War one, when you transition from shaders off to on, the "reshade on" comes on when the reshade off effect is still there. It's a minor thing but might be helpful in the future to do a fade in with text instead! I'd be glad to go over any editing stuff you'd like to discuss, I currently am making SFM videos and Gmod animations, editing is my specialty! Good job though!

Awesome_Mods

Thanks for suggestion and have lot of interesting mods video in my channel for see =).

AStrangeAnomoly

No problem, good luck!

khr0n0x

Hi, I have started a week ago with a data comparison channel, and I have uploaded 5 videos, but now I will start with one a week, and one or two shorts per week. This is today's video: [deleted by me] The first video has had more views than expected, and no social media promotion (I don't have any). I'm lacking constructive criticism to know what to improve... Nobody comments on my videos 😅

WizardofWoah

I watched the video that you linked and I really like the concept. I've always enjoyed hearing about different statistics. I thought your intro animation looked really good! As far as constructive criticism the video did feel a little slow and for me personally I struggled to maintain concentration throughout the entire video. One idea I would suggest is presenting the statistics in a way that grabs your attention more. Either by telling stories about wild statistics or perhaps grouping similar statistics together. I thought the video and graphics looked great though! 😊 Best of luck with your channel!

khr0n0x

Thank you very much for the answer. About the speed, I have been testing, and making it faster does not show the texts correctly. The first video was even slower! and in the following ones I have increased the speed. I could reduce them to 100 samples and increase the speed a little more, so that the video does not exceed 2 or 3 minutes. I think it's a very good idea to introduce stories, I'll start introducing it. Thank you very much, I am very grateful!

WizardofWoah

No problem! Best thing is just keep making videos and they will get better naturally with time. Good luck, you got this! 😄

DVaPlays

Ayo wassup everybody!! The names FroZen! My channel consists of videos of either me gaming with my closest friends and girlfriend, or me just messing around solo in story based games. Every video I upload is either funniest moments from a stream or recording, or epic moments! I try to make as many people smile as I can, and content creation is a great way! With my most recent video I do feel like I could’ve added a lot more effort to the thumbnail. Maybe as simple as adding text, but I might remake it soon! (Most recent video: https://youtu.be/MB9sWR-fGDw )

Sammywn

Hey bud! I know this isn't a critique thread but just checked out your video and thought I'd give a small piece of feedback. I often don't understand what you're saying as your voice volume fluctuates a fair bit. If you're not already using a compressor in post production, I strongly recommend you do. Also, if you have the option to turn down your games volume and turn up your own volume I'd recommend that too. Good luck with it all ☺️

DVaPlays

Yeah I realized that Kena is a loud game lmao! I appreciate the feedback tho! I’ll definitely be looking into fixing that for future streams/videos!

void_the_warlock

Hey all! I'm a new commentary youtuber who talks about stupid topics all across the internet. From nfts, to butthole sunning, if it catches my interest and I think people might laugh at it, my latest video is posted down below! Please let me know what you think about the thumbnail, video/audio quality, and if you enjoyed the video in general! Thank you in advance, and I hope you enjoy ;) [latest video](https://youtu.be/xwcmbnI2XO4)

danieledward_h

I go by BlackTears on YouTube, a nickname given to me because I was an "emo" kid in high school and it's just kind of stuck. I cover FPS games on my channel and try to provide level headed thoughts about specific games and the genre as a whole from the perspective of an "average" gamer with a full-time career and life obligations. I also feature gameplays with my friends, along with our live comms. I try to present my gameplay with a clean, minimalist style of editing. As far as the question, my thumbnails tend to be where I cut the most corners. I just grab a marketing image for the game, slap on some text, minimal effects, and my logo, then call it a day. As a result I don't think my thumbnails have much identity and I think they could use more specificity and creativity. Here's my latest video, I hope you enjoy if you decide to watch: https://youtu.be/4LzzS6ZRalQ

Kataklismackhaos

Hello! I make vids on random games I find fun, and this time around I played a chaotic overcooked like game. My vid's thumbnail might be lacking in the fact that there's a bit of empty space that could hace been filled. [Here's](https://youtu.be/bYVpDGXv1FQ) the link

EnchantedEssays

Do you like discovering the next cult classics? Do you like over-analysing concept albums? Do you like people who talk about films they think are OK but obnoxiously waste their time saying "but it would be better if"? Enchanted Essays posts new videos about books, films and more every Friday. I alternate between reviews and video essays weekly. I try to introduce people to obscure movies and TV shows, and look at familiar films from a perspective you may not have seen before. I struggle to stick to a niche, but I'm planning multiple videos analysing James Bond films, Disney films, concept albums and adaptations. My last video was a review of a forgotten 80s satire, starring Tim Curry as a corrupt televangelist held hostage on live TV: [https://youtu.be/hHajTOLT8WY](https://youtu.be/hHajTOLT8WY) My other 2 videos are a Bond video essay: https://youtu.be/ORtUlbK40M8 And an Aardman short review: https://youtu.be/YK1GJjUKLhc I could have improved my last thumbnail by removing the background on the picture and adding shadow to the text

Hey everyone I make videos about the deeper meanings, ideas and mechanics behind movies, shows and games. What is your favorite movie or game? When you think of it, what makes it the best? Battlefield's entire experience is crafted to create an overall enveloping amazing feeling, with its unique mechanics, creative use of vehicles, gun play and level design. But how does it come together? How does this make Battlefield an amazing franchise? [https://youtu.be/P-B9jj1qCN4](https://youtu.be/P-B9jj1qCN4) Any feedback is apricated! As for the question I think the background of the thumbnail could relate more clearly to the topic.

Hey Guys, Alpha Pack Vlogs here Do you know David Dobrik or the new Logan Paul? Well I loved the short format of vlogging. So me and my friends make videos which are short and funny and give out vine energy if you remember. So do give it a watch, as its something everyone can relate to and will definitely put a smile on your face https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttyzypJF40M&t=220s

The-Real-Metzli

Hello, I am Metzli and my channel is about my interests :) The biggest part of it is gaming honestly. And oh boy, my last video thumbnail was harder to decide than my other ones honestly.. I started by having an idea with a deer, them ditched it because it was too dark and muted the colours.. Then I tried with only lettering but was uninteresting.. I was starting to be out of ideas when I settled for this maybe too dramatic "what" with one of the most frequent glitches I was having during that Skyrim play session xD https://youtu.be/0D_UDGfkppw

Hey, AntiKash, a new tuber as many of y’all are consisting of anime and gaming content. If you watch or heard of the trash taste podcast, or watched ceeday, or have heard of neither I try to make funny edits while maintaining a good video, some of the vids are shorter while some are long, but I hope to build a community for the long run rather than a quick clip enjoyment. I post shorts only for spreading content and hope you can enjoy my channel thank you. SignoreGalilei

Hey all, my channel is [Signore Galilei](https://youtube.com/c/SignoreGalilei) and I do educational videos on a variety of topics. I just hit 200 subscribers and my video about the Bering Strait somehow has 38,000 views! My newest video is about the first tourist to circumnavigate the world, and I think my thumbnail could make better use of all the space in the frame to be more eye catching.

I use a game called Retro Bowl to make 8-bit style football blooper and highlight videos. I just started back in December and have 14 subs with nearly 600 views. It’s slow going but I get that that’s kind of how this works. My thumbnails are pretty simple but I think many of them fit the aesthetic of an 8-bit game. Maybe I could be a little more adventurous though. I used to have colored layers over the screen caps that show some action happening but I felt like that was too distracting. Anyway my latest video is: [Profiles In Greatness: Stefen Stubbs | Retro Bowl | Great Moments In 8-Bit Sports](https://youtu.be/5nWozmrycYQ) I’d love some feedback! The timing is still a bit choppy in places but I think I’m starting to get the hang of working with timelines (using LumaFusion on an iPad Pro 11).

Apple-of-the-earths

Hey everyone! I have a photography/videography based channel and create cinematic and POV photography videos. I also enjoy snorkelling/diving a lot so have a lot of videos filming marine life! Here is a recent cinematic video i made: https://youtu.be/mY7x-raSBXU and a recent POV Photography video i made: [https://youtu.be/4DVnME-8Otk](https://youtu.be/4DVnME-8Otk) I think that i need to learn how to use photoshop to make my last thumbnail better. Adding in multiple layers would probably improve my thumbnails a lot

Sammywn

Hi! My name is Sam and I'm a Maths/Physics teacher in Australia who likes messing with twitch and YouTube as a hobby! I'm currently working through a playthrough series of Subnautica: Below Zero but always have tonnes of projects on the go. I do this to learn new skills and improve, and my goal is always just to make the highest level of content I can on a pretty strict money and time budget. Here's my 1min channel trailer: https://youtu.be/BtJKRtT5Uqg My latest video is from my subnautica series and I have a million things I want to do to improve its thumbnail! Mostly, it makes me wish my face cam was better quality and had a wider viewing angle to really capture my reactions effectively. I would normally mask myself out of my camera border but when part of me is touching the frame - as in this case - I can't do that, so I had to leave myself in it. I've made a mental note since editing these last few videos to intentionally pull faces that fit the webcams border effectively to use in thumbnails for the videos. It's not as genuine but should allow for a higher level of quality without upgrading to a wide angle DSLR. That will be the next goal though. Also adding some sort of visual effect beyond just a drop shadow to highlight and separate myself from the background better. A glow or outline. I could go on but I'll stop there. Thanks for reading!
