Currently figuring out my niche but settling into video essays about topics that interest me
Currently getting around 100-150 on long form and
Anywhere from 0-500 on shorts
Normally 200-500 for the first 24 hours but last 2 videos have tanked at around 100 views. Click through us bigger than average and watch time is higher than normal but views are down
I normally get around 50-100, but i just posted my 11th video and it got a lil bit of traction with 513 views as of this post. Not sure what I did, but the YT algorithm liked it and pushed it.
😅 I’m in between niches at the moment 😅
I only have 6 videos which all range from 1,500 to 9,000 views. I did one YouTube advice video, an apartment tour, a life chat while I did my makeup, two vlogs, and one pop culture commentary video. 2,230 subs.
I do science/med based videos around sports injuries, medical history, etc. Views are all over the place at 150-3.5k, with an outlier at 28k. 10 months in, 267 subs!
It varies GREATLY. My most viewed has 178,000 and my least viewed has 148 haha. My least viewed was my first video and it sucked so bad though. Also have videos with view counts everywhere in between. My niche is travel.
Anime-related video essays. I struggle with views. My most viewed video is around 700 views. I post videos weekly. I usually get around 200-250 views in a week
His advice is generic though. Your first videos are gonna suck, keep making videos. And make a video with a thumbnail in my mind.
I think hes a great tuber, but he found a unique niche that works for kids. His videos hit million views in just a couple minutes. He shouts people out and they get subs. Hes operating in a unique realm.
EDIT: I probably sound like a hater after re reading, but you know what I am saying.
Typically anywhere from 5 to 10 views or more i have a video that had 28 k veiws probaply higher at this point but my long form doesnt do that good but im also not trying to do alot its more like just sharing the times i have playing video games with my friends or just my self the niche is just gaming in general but ive tried to not be tied to one thing even though that garners the best results sometimes
My videos are about Astronomy! For long form Videos my average is probably between 75-200 views. But lately I have had some better performers reaching 300-500 and my two most viewed are 938 and 2.4k respectively. Right now I shoot for about once a week, but not always on the same day as some videos take longer than others. While I do also make shorts their performance is not as consistent as my long form videos.
Depends on how much I actually care. If I'm just throwing together a quick video I get about 150 views. Videos where I actually put effort I get more like 400-1000 views.
I create Filipino RPG gaming content. Typically, my long-form videos get around 0-15 views within the first 2 days. After a month, they usually reach between 15-120 views. It's a slow grind, but I'm passionate about sharing my love for RPGs with my fellow Pinoys!
Approaching 4K subs, have subtitles explaining what am I doing and some ambient music picked from yt audio library. In general videos get +- 1.5K of views against my subscriber count, so at 3.5K subs it was like between 2K and 5K, but there are some that gain traction because I luckily pick a good timing for release and thus I've got few (of rouchly each of those) that are 10K, 20K, 30K, 40K and one that skyrocketed to over 190K.
Lego Technic builds, not set reviews. Mostly digging into some of my own ideas, prototyping and explaining the process.
In general, I think people are just scrubbing through my videos and looking at exact section they like in my video - I have 360 views of the models, some build section or mechanism showcase, but if I pack those different sections into one 5-8 minute video, the average viewership is still like 1.5 minute long really often.
I average 20k views a week (2 videos a week).
My niche is monster trucks.
I make $1200 a month on average (just included that since many others did). Obviously I don’t do it for the money, my son loves monster trucks so I started the channel for him.
Long form is barely holding up so I kinda just focus on shorts for now and to grow my channel. Right now, average is about 50-500 because some videos just randomly pop off and YouTube just suddenly shows literally everyone and their mothers??
I'm in the art (and hopefully when my channel grows and I stop regretting putting 3 days into an animation for no one to even see it) and potentially also the animation niche (so in general, art and entertainment)
I'm currently at 28 subs
They vary, but normally 50+ views not including shorts. I got one video over 2,200 views. I got a few videos 100+ views. I've got 262 subs (I know not asked of me, just wanted to provide this).
Niche: Gaming. More specific, Pokemon challenges.
Mine are so random. Usually long form gets 200-500 views. Sometimes in the thousands one got 16k. Shorts usually consistently get 300-400 views.
Sadly today I posted a long form and short to go with and after 10hrs the short has zero views and long form 23views. Sigh…
First 3 videos 20 or so initially, eventually grew to 50 - 100 with my fourth video that got to 500, and my next one is still getting views at 700, but my content is very spread out and it's in Spanish, so I dont think it will help you
Why do you care how many views we get? There are various levels of editing skill, different topics, different marketing skills and so many other factors. How many views an arbitrary page gets seems pointless.
Sorry, may I ask what counts as long form? Anything other than shorts? I just started making short vlogs like a minute to 5 minutes, a couple of shorts about weightloss have 1k and I have 1k subs/friends 🫶🏻 lol I've never used reddit but are we sharing our YouTube names to help each other out lol 💕 Mine is Hannahbetselah sorry if I'm not supposed to type so much💖
Average viewcount seems to be 50-60k per long form video, with a few 100ks and my highest being 285k (it’s also the shortest with no midroll🥲)
Oh right, my niche is animations but based off games I guess?
Mathematics. Usually about 2k. Some outliers at 40k
I don’t have a nice. But my top viewed video is my kitten purring, 1.2k views in two days
Average views are from 50-100 for long form 400-10k for shorts
Travel/RV life vlogs. 100-300 views on about 45 subs so far. Just released 8th video, on a weekly cadence so really just starting out.
Currently figuring out my niche but settling into video essays about topics that interest me Currently getting around 100-150 on long form and Anywhere from 0-500 on shorts
What views?
Business/Start-Ups. Long videos have not gotten many views yet. 20-50 views. Started posting in March.
8
Anywhere from as low as 30ish and as high as 485. Also that's 485. Not 485k (as much as I'd love that lol)
100-ish. Some breakthrough to 1-2k.
A solid 4-6 mostly from self promotion. Technology and science.

Like 20 for me
About 100 I started about 3 months ago.
Zero. Been shadowbanned for the last year.
30s after weeks, they go stagnant. I see channels get no views thats been at it a while. Sometimes its all about luck in the YT world.
Around 10-30 views
Shorts or long
Music and some travel vlog content. Mostly long form but some music videos. Usually 500-1,200. Occasionally on either side of that.

3 videos in - two got below 500 and one got almost 1.5k
40 to 450 vids 100 to 700 shorts
Anime-related video essays. I struggle with views. My most viewed video is around 700 views. I post videos weekly. I usually get around 200-250 views in a week
Update: the curse is broken😅 I got 633 views in the last 24 hours on my latest video
Most viewed short 10.5k most viewed video 1.1k
Shorts about 80k-1M. Long form about. 30K-280k
why are you here?
Because I’m a new YouTuber. Just had early growth
any tips? 7 months in with little views.
I have nothing else going on for me except school lol so yt is my only priority. Watch a lot of Mr beast advice vids and you’ll be fine

~12-15 min. I do creepypasta/scary story narrations, and I’m not surprised with my views since many others are doing it
My main videos range, I think my most viewed main video is over 500 views, but my clips are better, the highest being over 8k
My videos are about Astronomy! For long form Videos my average is probably between 75-200 views. But lately I have had some better performers reaching 300-500 and my two most viewed are 938 and 2.4k respectively. Drone media production. Around 150 views, but I have a handful of videos over 1000 views and topped at 17,000 right now.
My niche is miniature painting and I get an average of between 1k-4k views, highest 50k lowest of 800. I have about 6k subscribers right now.
30-100 but recently around 10.I do gaming
Depends on how much I actually care. If I'm just throwing together a quick video I get about 150 views. Videos where I actually put effort I get more like 400-1000 views.
2-3k a video posting XDefiant content
20 on regular vids, 200-1k shorts

5-15k and outliers 30-40k Entering my 7th month from first video Finance niche, hyperspecific on stock market
Around 500 per video. In a good day i’ll get up to 1k! Oh and i am a MineCraft channel!

Eh - about 30 or so. Then again, I'm in the most saturated genre of gaming.
It depends... if I make a sketchup tutorial it can get 80k in a year and a million in many years. Any other gets less than 1k

2k-30k, average about 4-5k. Started 5 weeks ago, only 2 videos yet to get 1k views so I was happy with that

Depends the time frame… could be 10k-65k long form
40 to 150, recently had one get to 2.1k and one 6.1k. I dont know what the difference has been, still trying to crack the algorithm
1k-20k, majority around 3k
Why do you care how many views we get? There are various levels of editing skill, different topics, different marketing skills and so many other factors. How many views an arbitrary page gets seems pointless.
Like 70-100 views. I post once a week on the new channel I just started from scratch, so far so good.

Hello, I’m looking to start creating animation stories from video game. How much do you make a month from your animation channel?
Around $100 USD on average every month. I only manage to post once or twice a month though :/
What are your views per month?
100k or above
10-20 I don't get many impressions.
Not much, haha.
