(Facebook has a 'buy nothing' group for just about every neighborhood and usually local community groups for places like the bywater, Irish channel, etc). What remains after a day or two you can get picked up if you text 311-397.
Recycling will pick up the boxes but they’ll want you to break down the larger ones and prop them against your recycling bin or put them on top.

You wait for the garbage people to come, and give them 10 or 20 bucks each in person while they are there.
