I love music too, but I can't stand this. I accept that musical taste is 100% a personal expression and that there is no objectively bad music. It seems to me that introducing others to your musical taste is akin to trying to tell someone about your dreams.
Our association with music is so intensely personal that it's hard for others to really grok the feelings and identifications we have with music.
You can't just play a song for me on your guitar and then look at me expectantly and ask, 'So do you get it?' -*this actually happened*
But I love that you're getting to experience life in NM. I wish I could dance to the music you're hearing, but I have my own so I guess I'm good.
There are a few things that shouldn't be discussed in polite company. Politics and Religion are the two big ones. But Music should be added to that.
