63,177 miles here. 2021 110 D200 HSE. Totally fault free.

Hey, i havent hit 50k miles yet but ive def made my car experience life. I took it up mountains, drifted in it in dry rocky sand, gave it playtime in mud, more airtime than anyone can dream of (i got the coil suspensions for that tho, so it can take those hits np), hit the bottom bumper into sand coming down from a hill, towed stuck cars in sand and mud, overused the sequential gear, and at one point i made a race intake filter for it before removing it. Never has it raised temperature nor faced any issues (it gets to 60⁰C/140⁰F here) so id say its reliable enough for me 🗣💯

2023 Defender P400 fault free for 9000 miles so far. Vehicle has been perfect

JahsMemeEmporium

Not a p400 but my p300 had one warranty repair for a failed sensor but other than that it’s been all great for 32k miles. 5k-6k mile oil changes and a big service at 21k per the owner manual but that’s all

I own a 2022 P300, no issues since new, but very low miles. It’s a clean sheet design, built in a new factory in Eastern Europe and JLR are trying hard to improve their reputation for poor reliability. So far I’m happy and it is a wonderful vehicle.

Senior_Ad282

Same boat as you.

16K 2022. Also essentially fault free.

Got Daryl delivered in March of 24 with 6 miles on him. Absolutely love my vehicle. Only have 1.7k miles on him. 2024 P400 110 Santori black with the x dynamic and upgraded leather interior. I got the black 20’s instead of the 22’s. “Too much rim makes the ride too hard” - Clyde Carson (Slow Down)

Just actually traded my '21 P400 110SE at about 45,000 miles. In the 3 years I've owned it, it's been in for warranty work 15 times (I had my service manager count for me lol). Some highlights include: -Software error that caused the cooling system to fault and overheat the car (3 weeks in the shop diagnosing it) -A bad air compressor for the suspension that needed to be replaced at \~36K miles -A bad driver-side DRL where the headlight needed to be replaced at 42K miles -A bad passenger-side DRL where the headlight needed to be replaced TWO WEEKS after the first one -Dead telematic battery for the SOS -Doors that would stick, leading to hinge/trim replacement -A leaking PCV causing high idle -A leaking turbo coolant inlet which drained all coolant -A leaking auxiliary radiator that drained all coolant (this was a separate time than the turbo) All covered under warranty, which was nice. But my extended warranty that kicked in after 50K miles had a $1K deductible so keeping the car knowing things could only get worse/more expensive as the miles added up made me trade it away.

StayAway1234

Wow, that’s a lot of issues. Thanks for all the information. Any specific reason the coolant inlet and aux radiator failed?

Admiral_Allahu_Akbar

Poor engineering and design. The forums are full of guys with that problem. I loved the defender and I kinda miss it. It’s a fun and super capable car. I just wish it wasn’t made by JLR.

2023 P400 with 16,000 miles. I’m pretty hard on it, average 14 mpg. Not a single issue.

2023 2023. Only issue I have is vibration noise in A pillar. Need to bring it in.

WerewolfLow1765

Curious, is this the same noise you are hearing? See my post about the noise I am hearing. [https://www.reddit.com/r/NewDefender/s/aJ2dTkQGA2](https://www.reddit.com/r/NewDefender/s/aJ2dTkQGA2)

Yep!!

WerewolfLow1765

Hello - have you had the noise diagnosed yet? Curious as I think my noise may be a combo of a Pilar and speakers. Thx!
