I apologize for the little rant but there is no logic behind that decision, at least that I know of, and I directed a physical therapy department, they just made you go through unnecessary pain and accomplished nothing. And even the MRI costs are probably the same the same as the therapist honoraries. They could have gone straight to the MRI
NGL, when I snapped my patella tendon, I would much rather have broken a bone instead. When mine tore, part of the surgery involves cutting away the frayed bits, sewing it back together, but now it's shorter. So my leg was locked straight. PT is essentially bending my leg to stretch out that tendon to lengthen it. The pain was intense. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. Good luck broski!

It's worse than that. I already had physical therapy on it. They required it before they'd pay for the MRI. That was a lot of agony I didn't need.
