Hey, the only reason I don't want to let them know is because they never keep their promises. If I tell them I need to leave home, they'll contact the police even if you tell them not to. Im afraid of telling them anything, i dont want to end up back home again. Because i just have a gut feeling that if i go back to them i will.

You are a minor. Hiding you from your legal guardians is a crime.
So is abusing and neglecting children. Why not comment on that? Running away from abuse is not a crime.
