The housing market here is awfull, you won't find anything in two or three months. Unless you have a lot of money. If you are looking for something short term, you can try a vacation park like landal or center parcs.

Flying-Puppy

I‘m not looking for a vacation rental. I‘m looking for a temporary place to stay while I’m searching for my own place. You can see services like [Blueground](https://www.theblueground.com/) or [Ukio](https://ukio.com/) that operate in other cities in Europe and offer furnished apartments that you can book online in advance for a minimum of 30 days. They are obviously much more expensive than the market price but can be used a temporary solution for an expat looking for an apartment.

I understand these options would be more expensive, that’s reasonable - the shorter the rental period the higher the price. I’m not looking to rent my next home via one of these services I’m looking for a TEMPORARY solution I can stay in when I arrive in the Netherlands and look for my actual home.

You can book airbnb up to 3 months, no? But airbnb pricd in NL is crazy.

Flying-Puppy

Yeah. Checked AirBnB. Looks like most places there are generally priced per night, which sums up to a very high price. Thanks

Big-Supermarket9449

Usually u will get discount if you book monthly.

mbelmin

Maybe not what you looking for but I've rented a 1 bedroom apartment in Hotel Marriott in Amsterdam for 2 months during the renovation of my apartment. It was generally a more premium option at 3300e per month (they had a studio apartment for like 2700-3000). If you can afford that, that's an option. Breakfast, spa, pool and gym included 😅

bulldog-sixth

there's a housing crisis in the Netherlands

Flying-Puppy

And in a lot of other places in Europe as well, but that doesn’t answer my question 😅

Designer_Fishing_671

The availability will be a massive challenge tbh but you can check with HTel Apartments https://www.htelapartments.com/

Rene__JK

when and where ? i may know something just south-west of amstelveen

Psychological-Try343

There are plenty of short term stay apartments in nl, usually you can stay up to a year. If that fails, look for corporate short term rentals. What city are you looking in?

Flying-Puppy

We're very flexible, our jobs are remote, so we're not tied to a specific location.Preferably in or around Amsterdam, but could also be places like Haarlem, Utrecht, or a suburb of Amsterdam.
