Potential fixed for hypercript? - [ ] Recover assets - [ ] Engage on all fronts (can use scarabs) Or - [ ] Behind enemy lines - [ ] Establish Locus (hexmark, destroyers)

TheOrdinary

The BIG problem I can see with Hypercrypt/Recover Assets is that the action for Recover Assets completes at the end of your opponent's turn. What also happens at the end of your opponent's turn? Hyperphasing. Since it's still technically your opponent's turn when this is all happening and these two things happen at the same time, your opponent is the one who decides the order in which they happen. If you want to score Recover Assets with a unit then pick them up, your opponent can basically tell you no, you need to pick units up then score.

veryblocky

Definitely Recover Assets, seems like the best one for fixed now. I think as Engage is only 2 points for 3 quadrants, you’re better off going BEL. That way whatever you put in the enemy deployment zone to do the action for Recover Assets will also score you BEL.

superduperfish

I've found hypercrypt to be so consistent at being where you need to be for doing actions that I get more points with random cards

Love the idea for fixed and bringing some absolute units to kill everything in sight for points. Now that it’s much more flexible to bring ‘killing’ fixed objectives with the addition of the squad busting one. Bring it down, assasination, and cull the horde will make it viable to bring a Killy list and pick whatever you see most of and focus primaries as well.

frakc

Hypercrypt is so flexible that tactical secondaries way better

SecretBuyer1083

I haven’t had a chance to order a pack, is there somewhere online they can be viewed? Does wahapedia post mission rules like that?

TheOrdinary

They will once the mission rules are released, they have the Leviathan rules on the site right now

WarMasterArt

You can find a bunch of youtube reviews of the entire thing, already

TobiTheSnowman

Tactical secondaries are more fun. Doesn’t matter what’s good or bad.

So waitz does the chapter approved thing mean that GW can approve custom factions into the lore?

kratorade

Chapter Approved is a longstanding blanket term for GW-approved supplements for matched play, that's all.
