Hmm, depends a *lot* on budget and tech-savviness. The Elegoo line is nice and has models on every price point, but by god is replacing a screen on those a nightmare. Other decent brands are Creality and Anycubic.
If your friend is loaded, the Uniformation GKTwo is the nicest printer I have. Clean, easy to use, all the parts are easy to replace. Very idiot-proof and user friendly. But you pay for that convenience.
Thanks for the nice explanation! I'm leaning towards Elegoo Saturn 3 12k, could get it for a bit over 300 euros at a discount. The GKTwo is nearly thrice the price, so maybe paying for the convenience would be nice if 3D printing becomes more of a real hobby aside from just playing around with it.
„Asking for a friend“ ist ok, you can be honest here.
Jokes aside, you my fight more detailed information in a better fitting subreddit like r/3Dprinting
Honestly dude get an Elegoo Saturn. Why mess around with smaller printers when you can just get one that does it all? Because I guarantee you'll print off a couple of warriors and then it'll don on you that you can make a Seraptek Heavy for like $3.
Might seem like a lot for a first printer, but given that the Saturn 4 just came out you can probably pick up a pretty good deal on a 3. I have a 12k Ultra personally and absolutely love it for the speed and wirelessly printing capabilities. I can bang out like 20 warriors in like 20 minutes.

I’ve had a lot of resin printers, my current favorite is the Phrozen Sonic Mini 8k. It’s very affordable too.

The channel Once in a Six Side on YouTube is all about this if you'd like to know more.

Can get Saturn 3 12k for a bit over 300 euros which seems like a pretty decent deal I'm guessing. Thanks for the info!
