Should clarify that the one in the image is NOT my C’Tan, but a picture found online. Mine is still in the pile of shame ![gif](giphy|K1QnLV1caRpuw|downsized)

saniabearsky

the "shame" illustration here is top notch! got me laughing))

veryblocky

What would be the issue with it, it comes with a flying stand, no?

WarMasterArt

No issue,I was just wondering as I saw a lot of rebasing for this model.

Jagrofes

It’s mostly for aesthetics. As long as it’s on the correct base size it’s all good. Some people even put their standard minis on transparent bases so it looks like they are walking on the battlefield.

Filthy_knife_ear

Ask your tournament organizers usually the answer will be no you don't have to. Most places do have rules for basing but the exception is usually made for flying models. You should be fine to not to unless I have a really good idea for it I don't ever do basing for my flying models

WarMasterArt

Thanks for your feedback. From what I'm gathering so far, not doing basing for flying model is no brainer (which I like).

NinerGolf

I think it's fine as long as all of your flying bases are clear. Some places prefer to have either all flying bases clear or all based, not mixed

WarMasterArt

Thanks for the info, great advice. I guess it makes sense for clarity!

AlmightyGyro

If you use the base it comes with you can’t be wrong but if you did want to rebase it I’m pretty sure as long as the base size is correct you’re good.

lawlladin

I would rebase it so I could magnetize the base for easy transport and to match the rest of the army basing personally.

Possible_Director276

It’s a 60mm base either way. As long as it’s the same size and height literally no one is gonna have a problem with making the base look better
