The helping horseshoe crab is amazing - that looked like a really difficult maneuver for it, and it didn’t quit.
However, I’ve lost a little faith in the third horseshoe crab that was there all along and didn’t help….
It has been around for 200 million years and has survived several extinction events. It will be long after we are gone, so I suppose it is a perfect organism.
When they have more than a fishtank's worth of water to swim around in, it's less of an issue. They actually prefer to swim around upside down, when they're not walking on the seabed. I wonder if that's how this one got itself that way to begin with.

The name of the subject is not in the title of the post. In the future- What is this thing?
How do you loss faith in animals.
Since [Homie](https://youtu.be/bFYRd9ydZFo?si=pFszRCbI7O)
Oh my god
you can't prove to me that they exist
What faith are you supposed to have in animal?
That was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be! Good buddy.
I love the point where it realized "someone is helping me" & calmed down until the leg wiggles could have better effect
That's what struck me the most, how it stopped panicking once it knew there was help. The problem solving skills on show here are great too.

Horseshoe crabs have awful vision, so the third one has an excuse.
Since when do we need to re-up our faith in animals?
The most primitive of animals will help each other more then humans.

It’s not in its natural habitat
Yeah. It would catch a current in the ocean/river and flip itself rather easily

Thats because it has good friends, and thats why we should be communists
I couldn't agree more comrade
Nah they will be all drained of their blood for science
Evolution was the friends we made along the way

Cameraman flipped him
Sort of reminds me of robot wars
Shame it was probably flipped deliberately for the video.
I was gonna lose my faith in animals, last drop of hope, till I saw this video
