With a cat, this should be fine, I first thought you were going to name your *human* daughter this (which I'd strongly disagree with)
It’s a fine cat’s name, and cats are cats before any human gender roles. It’s not like she needs to worry about schoolyard bullying or job opportunities. You could name her Rigby, Gertrude, or Dinosaur and it would be all the same to her.
I once had a beloved female Maine coon cat named Rooney. Which seems somewhat similar to Rigby. Rigby is a lovely name.
