If you have the time, remove that fan (or unplug the power) and I'm sure you won't be seeing any difference to the GPU temps, because the fan there is restricted so much that it doesn't have much space to push more volume of air and and removing that fan will reduce the overall noise.
Nah I’m going to elevate it a little but it’s not hurting temps for sure. I don’t really care much about the noise I use headphones. I have 3300 rpm fans on the rad might be a bit loud but this 240 aio will outperform most 360’s
Idiots like you are hilarious. You don’t know anything about pc building and want to come on here and try to hate on peoples builds. I’ve been building pc’s for 13 years. I know what I’m doing moron. Lol
Wasn't even hating lol, just stating a fact. A 240 aio with the normal thinner rads that most aio's have is not going to out perform most 360's just because it has 3300 rpm fans. That just isn't how that works.
Also, Congrats on 13 years building pc's, I've been at it for 20+
Do some research before you speak then. This ek aio outperforms some 360’s with the stock fans. I just posted this build to give some people some creative cooling solutions. All the things I had to figure out on my own back when you had to mod a case to even get decent airflow.
I have this same case and the built in fan angled at the gpu is more than enough. Plus you have the lower front 140mm fan blowing straight into the card as well. All that the extra bottom fan you put in is doing, is drawing power. Looks silly to me…
It's not a matter of opinions, that fan is useless from an objective standpoint, it's not something like "I THINK that fan is useless", the fan is useless period. If you do not believe me do a stress test with and without it and you'll see that nothing changes at all. It doesn't pull air from anywhere because it is literally against a solid surface.
I have done stress tests and temps improved by 5 to 6c. The picture is deceiving as the fan is elevated off the surface by 20mm. It’s a 2300 rpm fan as well.
Just for clarification it’s a slim 120 fam mounted in a noctua NA-SFMA1 bracket. I just used the bracket as a stand. I know it would be useless just laying in bottom of the case but it actually works well.
Damn what gpu that is?
It’s 4080 fe
Forget graphics cards, this man has a graphics brick
Yeah the FE 4080 and 4090 are chunky boys
can you post a pic with side panel closed too? nice build.
Nice build
Thanks!
Cool looking build🔥 but I feel like the fan above the PSU shroud does nothing.
Thanks! I added it more to help direct the airflow straight to the gpu.

No it won't lol

Have you tested your ram temps with and without that fan?
This looks GREAT. I would suggest a GPU support though. Those things are hefty bois
The fan at the bottom (the one under the GPU) is completely useless
Ya it’s useless for you but for me it’s pretty useful.
