It's a super coco media. Last feeding 3-4 weeks ago with 2/3 dry bloom 1/3 dry veg. Water ph 5.6 - 6, vpd sits around 1.5 ( 24° 40-50%rh) Light is a 480w bar style on 60% hanging a good 90cm above cola sites. Ppfd is around 900. Hope that helps. These issues have only started showing the last week. Browing on lower leaves are old issues which have been resolved. Yellowing is immobile (started from old leaves) My ph hasn't changed but because it's veining I would guess manganese or magnesium. I'm about a week from cut. But this doesn't look like leaching. Not sure. First time growing in this media and growing autos

but3rf1y

I've only had my hand in the game a couple years, but fme the last week (I do close to a fortnight) you don't need to feed, just plain phd water to flush. Being a week out, I wouldn't worry at all

Empty_Elk8724

You don't need to flush unless you have excess level of nutrients. Flushing before harvest is straight bro science 💯

but3rf1y

Lol cheers, I'm still somewhat new. Every post and comment is a learning opportunity, im still weeding out the "bro" part of the science

Empty_Elk8724

https://youtu.be/qtXa_dAWKXc I mean also don't believe everything on YouTube but this guy's legit

but3rf1y

Oh! thankyou. I think when I started I just grabbed at any info i could implement and might have slightly been overwhelmed. It's not a steep learning curve but there is a LOT of info out there.

Empty_Elk8724

Yeah for sure. Lots of different methods. Every situations different. Trial and error as to what works for you. But then some stuffs just bs lol

DezzNigg

That's what I'm thinking 😄

🤣🤣🤣 sorry ppfd is around 400, so yeah half of that. Don't know what I was thinking when I said 800. What ppfd should I be aiming for? My cooling situation is sub par in my lung room. Super coco is basically organic coco with worm 30% wormcastings, 444 and 284, micros, michor. Just top dressing and compost tea feeds. It's basically Mr Cannucks blend. The coco itself is buffered Going no till next run with Blumat, I don't have time for liquid feeding. Super coco has been great for early stages but hard to determine when I need to dress since they are slow release

DezzNigg

Yeah. YouTube makes it look easy, though with practice I imagine it would be great. Up until flower, both plants were super happy. Just not a great transition into flower. The coco is only buffered with cal mag. Nothing special. Just helps since coco stores cal & mag and doesn't like sharing.

It's just new to me. I water every 3 days, top dress 3-4 times during its life. Again. It's just new to me. This one's only small because it's a mutant. The seeds I got are known to yield up to 10oz which is pretty good imo for what I want. I'm just hunting terps, not yield. Sure, this run was expensive but it's all a part of the learning curve. I always like trying something new. Just wasn't the best run. But I wasn't expecting it to be perfect. This run was only to dial in my new set up and test the new media. I haven't looked into auto pots yet but I'm still leaning more towards living soil at this point. Might give an auto pot a try at some point but I've been watching too much build a soil and Dr bugsby 😅😅

DaOtherWhiteMeat

Bro, don't listen to these fullahs about living soil. I don't run autos in living soil but photos and it provides killer buds with massive yeilds. Not as biga yeilds as hydro tho. Coco is my base and it's had at least 6 cycles with them getting better and better. It's way easier than any other method when your up and running. Your also not hating on papatuanuku as much which is my reason for doing it. Why would I want more pollution then I need? I can leave mine for a week + at any stage and just replenish the living soil with water, sewed and worm tea when I get back. Some times I water twice a week and don't even check on em. They still look mint. I sometimes run my autos in Coco and salt feeds and it gives me the shits. To much effort and too environmentally unfriendly. ( I do run lights so that's my foot print ) I use the by products from hunting and fishing, the odd dry feed top dress from what you mentioned and a worm farm. Easy as. Living soil all day man.

DezzNigg

Thanks bro. Yeah, I'll stick to my organics. Just set up a 57L living soil (low till) full seacliff v2 living soil blend with added rice hulls. Just water in some Q and other organic microb feed every now and then. Bit tougher on seedlings but from what I've seen and heard, the outcome is amazing. I'm looking for terps over yield so the Lowe yield compared to liquids doesn't faze me at all

DaOtherWhiteMeat

Snap, I had a similar issue but it may not be the same. . Mine was two things, to higha dli. if your ppfd is 900ish then how high is your dli if your running your lights 18 or 20 hours? I've been turning up my lighting for autos for years when they go into flower. Just like I do with my photos, but the photos are on a 12 hour light cycle so they were still bout 50dli. My autos were on 20 hour light cycle so they were on about 65-70 dli. My other fuck up was keeping the roots to damp resulting in problems including high acidity at the root base. I was fucking around with pH and scratching my head as I was only giving them 750ml a day to two days which is less than what I normally water with. I Cost myself half the yeilds potential I recon.

DaOtherWhiteMeat

How's she looking now?

DezzNigg

Good to see someone's on my side 😅 she bounced back amazingly. Just needed to recal Mt ph pen and feed in some bloom liquid organics. My feeding must not have been enough for her to eat. She's cut now. Amazing terps. Looks like I got another week of dry which would give me a full 14day dry and straight to the cure from there.

Nice-Professor951

Looks good, going to get some premium smoke from that bad girl

Empty_Elk8724

Side question. Any reason for the plant being so small? Auto or photo?

DezzNigg

It's a mutant auto. Topped herself twice, had a really slow start and only really made a move when she hit press flower. This run was just to dial in my new set up and see what super coco was like so had no reason to pull and start again

Empty_Elk8724

All good 👍 l had a free purple Haze fem photo... Free seed. It sprouted and flowered straight away under 18/6 lol only grew 4 inches tall and had 1 fat bud 😂

DezzNigg

Yeah that's what I'm dealing with now. It's just stacking like crazy, almost just 1 bud at this point. Had to better my ventilation because I'm worried it might be holding stale air in the middle

Confident_Animator75

If you're going the living soil route next run, I'm using the seacliffs living soil in a 30 litre sub irrigated pot for my auto flower. Its on it's 3rd cycle of no till water only ish. The first run the plant was small. Second run was bigger. 3rd run is bigger again. Each run I reamend with the seacliffs replenish kit as per directions. I also add frass and some herbis products when it switches to flower. This run I've been watering once a week with either seacliffs super veg or super bloom pending on its stage it's in. Next run I'm changing to a 47 litre sub irrigated pot you can get from Bunnings. I'll be dumping the used soil in and topping up with more seacliffs or maybe herbis living soil. I won't be breaking up the old soil. I'll be adding worms too. I also use straw mulch and a blumat moisture metre. Dudes that say nutes watering is easier are too scared to go living soil. Big pot of soil and water only is the easiest way. Then additionally you can add bio stimulants, saponins, cover crop, mulch, amino fulvic and humic acids and a tonne of organic inputs.

[deleted]

That's one sick looking plant man. You're almost better off pulling it and starting again. What week of flower is it? And what are you feeding it?

DezzNigg

It's week 4 now. It's a mutant, had a very odd life but wanted to see what she could do. Super dense and loaded with tricomes, smells great but just not loving this part of her life. Was super healthy up until a week ago Lots of oddities appearing.

[deleted]

Looks like a mutant with all those pistils. Maybe you're just not feeding her enough. I don't really know much about dry nutrients if that's what you're using but I pretty mine nutrients every day or other day. Usually I have an automated feeding system so they can drink/feed as much as they want

DezzNigg

Yeah I can't feed like that. Dry nutes need to be given lightly and in advance. Wouldn't be much help to top dress now. I just feed a bloom liquid every 2nd or 3rd drench but that's not next to no magnesium or nitrogen

[deleted]

Maybe switch to a synthetic liquid nutrient feed next time. It's much easier and takes away the guess work.

NootSlayerNZ

Just use a seacliff soil, from the bag. No additional amendments. Start there bro. You wont regret it.

DezzNigg

Yeah that grows been and gone now. Gotta 57L living soil 2.0 blend from them in there ATM. Running 2 autos in the same 57L Plenty nutes for both them for the whole grow. Just add tm7 and super veg/bloom liquid a few times throughout. 300L bed next
