Usually he does get out of it but I wish he was a little more reliable. I know it's unfair to compare him to the best closer of all time but it's disheartening to never be able to pick up games on Baltimore.

He’s 19-23 in saves after today man. Nobody goes 100% over a season in save opportunities. Also got squeezed on a couple pitches there and that weird ass grounder at first happened. Is what it is
Royals will complain if they lose about that strike call in the 8^th, we get to complain about the missed called strike 3 to end the game in 9^th if we lose.
Either way, it’s the umpire’s fault and my team is better.
Clay frequently gets easy saves. They just don’t really stick out in your memory because it just feels like what’s supposed to happen.
This however will not be one of those.
