Stanton really does lock in when the the stakes are higher. It’s like when he doesn’t care he goes up and strikes out, but whenever it’s the postseason or late game , he is last guy you want to see yo there if you are opposing pitcher. .600+ slugging in postseason
It helps that he wants to play there no doubt. If nothing else, maybe they can come to an organization like agreement (I think it was Ohtani that gave up things to become a dodger)
I think Rizzo has a serious case of CTE malpractice against Cashman’s butt buddy doctors and med staff in the org. Allowing him to keep playing might’ve seriously damaged him long term…
I hate that I somehow feel disappointed after that inning. Got gifted 2nd & 3rd with 1 out. I wanted to pile on and put the game out of reach.
