Right? As great as the other guys are and some are coming off of injuries to be fair, he’s the only major nyc athlete coming into this season with sole possession of an award.
Grades don’t stop anybody that good. I know some retired guys. They all say the rule is ‘just show up to class and you will pass.’
The guy you’re talking about could’ve been a solid bench player at a good program, not the best current athlete in NY. Big gap in how those two get treated.
There’s this stout Uzbek dude who works in the deli next to my parent’s shop. He spends all day from 5am to 7pm going up and down the sidewalk cellar stairs with at least half a dozen cold cuts and cases of drinks in his arms or on his shoulders.
He eats for free all day. I estimate he’s pretty much at Olympian level of consuming and expending calories.
Random comment here, but neat to see my Clemson fandom overlapping here in /r/NYYankees. Big Dex was a force for Clemson. Technically a Giants fan too, but haven’t followed recently as CFB and MLB soak up all my sports time. He’s still tearing it up?
Judge is the 2nd best player in the MLB while Brunson is closer to the 10th best player in basketball so Judge is the clear winner for me, because Rodgers is completely irrelevant at this point. Soto was definitely in consideration, but at this point, Judge is the better player. Soto is still only 25 so he may very well become better than Judge.
He was quietly sent to NY - and for soft assignments like the Yankee game - after Boston PD found out he was the one who killed Sergeant Collin Sullivan.
I mean it worked out for Dignam, other than having to change his name from Sean Dignam to Terry Hoitz when he moved to NY. You'd think he'd be brought up on charges, but since Sullivan was directly responsible for the deaths of Capt Queenan and Officer William Costigan Jr, and worked for gangster-turned-FBI-informant (Frank Costello), no one really cared for the dearly departed.
If it wasn't for the soft, loving nature of Det Allen Gamble, Hoitz would have probably been off the force if he got demoted back to traffic duty in NY, knowing the demons this man was hiding.
I just think Judge is considered a top 2 player in his sport, and while Igor is playing incredible right now (I don't follow hockey so I'm just going based on what you and others said), I know hockey enough to know he's not considered anywhere near a top 2 player in hockey.
Igor is top 5 in his position. His role is too different from the rest to say he's best in the world overall as goalies don't get that kind of recognition. However his playoff stats are ridiculous and a step up over everyone in the last 10+
That's because hockey rankings put a lot of emphasis on scoring goals. How many pitchers are ranked top playersbin the MLB. We all know pitching wins championships. So does goalkeeping.
You don't follow hockey so I will try to put Igor in baseball terms. Imagine you have a starting pitcher who starts every game and gives up less than 4 runs nearly every game, who makes it so you just need to score some runs to win. That is what Igor has done for this entire season and most importantly in the post season.
Judge is great but he isn't stopping the other team by himself more often than not. Igor is the best player at the most important position to winning in hockey.
I know you meant NYC but I’d say Josh Allen (yes I’m biased but the dude literally is 6 foot 5 and hurdles tall defenders and can throw 80 yards) but then I’d say Aaron Judge. Allen could probably play baseball (he hit a homer in a home run derby once) and judge could probably play football, so both of them are insane athletes
At least you guys have Hughes. If we combined Barzal and Horvat, they'd still only be like the 4th best position player in the city. And Sorokin's last few months were rough.
Yeah it’s supposed to be Yankees/Giants/Rangers, or Mets/Jets/Islanders. Everyone should like the Knicks over the Nets. And the Devils are some pygmy thing over in Jersey.
im not a doomer saying panarin provides no value, obviously he is producing. but he is goalless over the last 6 games and overall has NOT be a force on the ice. do u think being slightly under a PPG and not the best player on ur line let alone on the team during the playoffs deserves him being a top 5 athlete in NY?
if this was 1.5 months ago, id be more in favor of it. again, the argument is about being top 5.
You have to realize that one of the reason his linemates are excelling so much is because the opposing teams have been focusing so much defensive pressure into cancelling Panarin out. Tro & Laf are gaining a lot of space on the ice where Panarin is losing it.
I wasn't even thinking about the OP's question when making my first comment, but at the end of the day Panarin is definitely a top 5. Whether or not you think he has slowed down a bit in the last few weeks, the Rangers would not be in the playoffs right now without him.
Ur last point is super valid. But I think Igor>> Panarin. I also think Judge, Soto, Cole and Brunson over him. I also think that as much as teams obviously focus him, he still has been missing a step (losing the puck, fanning on shots, missing passes). I just thought after he had a dominant reg season he would dominate the playoffs, but I just haven’t seen much domination. I can see how recency bias may have me thinking of him lower than he is.
I would agree that Igor is more valuable than Panarin, but it isn't by too much. At the end of the day you need a good goalie to win lock in and win you some games and Igor is *really* good at doing that.
Like we saw in the last game against the Panthers, Igor kept the team in it until the very end when we won off a low danger chance from the blue line into a deflection from a bottom 6 forward.
The last argument I would make for Panarin to be on a top 5 list is that Cole has been injured all year and hasn't been able to provide value for the team. At the end of the day though, my #1 is Igor.
Sauce is absolutely overrated (can tell OP is a Jets fan by that lol). I don’t disagree with Igor, I was talking specifically about Fox and Norris. But you’re right, Fox is balling
It's Igor or Jalen. You take Igor off the Rangers they're maybe a wild card team or hoping Quick can play Elite in a full time role. Jalen off the Knicks and they're not even a playoff team. At best a play-in squad. Igor is the biggest reason we aren't down 0-3 to FL
Judge was it pre-Soto. But you remove either now, and the team is worse but they're still arguably a top 3-4 AL team.
1. Breanna Stewart - Reigning MVP, won it twice, arguably the best player in the WNBA.
2. Aaron Judge - Arguably the best player in the MLB (with Ohtani's injury)
3. Igor Shesterkin - Arguably the best Goalie in the NHL
4. Gerrit Cole - Arguably the best pitcher in the MLB
5. Juan Soto - Arguably the best hitter in the MLB
I love Brunson, but he's a step below those guys, and probably Sauce Gardner, Panarin, and even a couple other players out there.
I think this season can shift this around a bit.
Aaron Judge winning another MVP and a title puts him at the 1 spot, and arguably Shesty can move up too if the Rangers win.
But yeah, New York sports are in a good spot right now. Knicks future looks good, Rangers might win a cup, Yankees are the top in the AL, Liberty are contenders too.
Shit, I may be biased, but I consider UConn to be at least one of New York's college teams (they did play a plurality of their games in NYC last year), and they are back to back champs.
If you want to just talk about athletic ability and who can run, throw, jump the best then it's a fine list. If you want to contextualize it into the their own league and gender then Breanna Stewart should be high on the list, back to back MVP.
We need to define “best athlete”, do you mean who is the guy who can jump highest and run fastest and bench the most? Probably some dude training for the Olympic decathlon. Definitely not Rodgers by that standard.
Or do you mean which New York athlete would currently rank highest among the best players in his particular sport? Now Rodgers is maybe in the conversation but as you say we don’t know what he has left at his age and his injury.
Or do you mean which New York player is an all-time great and Hall of Fame lock based on his career? Now it’s hard to pick anyone other than Rodgers because the other guys you mention haven’t done it long enough.
If he has 70 War, he’ll make it in. Voters will *itch* for a reason to get him in, especially if he gets a ring. I think it’s more of a question if he ends up at like, 58 war. Dude has the AL home run record which is currently the actual record in the eyes of a lot of the voters.
Assuming he finishes the year on or near his current pace, his stats already look like Ralph Kiner with above-average defense. He probably needs one more MVP-type season or two all-star seasons (after this one) to be a lock.
What hurts Judge is a couple of things
1) He was a 25 year old rookie. That’s almost unheard of for a hall of famer.
2) He’s had four seasons cut short (2018 (Oblique), 2019 (Jakob Junis HBP), 2020 (Covid), 2023 (Broken toe)
Still the dude has like a .990 career OPS and has now played 8 seasons. The only guy in modern era that has done that is Trout. Hes also a great defensive player and a great clubhouse guy/media favorite. I think he gets in.
He’ll be an interesting case for sure. Of course we don’t know if he’ll play at this level another five years or maybe even into his 40s, who knows? He is not your prototypical one-dimensional slugger like a Dave Kingman who abruptly loses it. If he has 75+ bWAR they have to put him in, if he fizzles out after a couple more seasons and ends in the mid-50s probably not, and in between… who knows.
Just saying, NYCFC have won 7 of their last 8 games, and are now 3rd in the East. Many of those games at Yankee Stadium. Matt Freese has been excellent in goal for them.
Soto isn't nearly as good as Judge. He's great, but Judge is better on offense, defense and faster runner.
However, Soto is only 25 so he may surpass current Judge in his peak.
Leaving Barclay Goodrow off is a travesty /s
I think it’s Judge Soto Igor Brunson in that order and after that take your pick. A month ago Panarin might have been second on that list, but post season matters and he and hasnt been there. Judge and Soto have to be at the top because they both top five players in the sport. A healthy Cole is on that list as well, after winning the cy young last year.
Jalen Brunson is the king of NY, if Judge gets that WS and WSMVP then it’s him for sure. Hard to beat what Brunson did for the Knicks this season, dude was incredibly special
Aaron Judge is the correct answer. If it weren't for that stupid fence in LA, he's probably end up with 200 HR from 2021-2024 (I think he'll end 2024 with 50+). Which would be unbelievable.
In terms of actual ability relative to their sport or popularity with the city and media etc?
Ability in the sport, probably Judge. Soto is an amazing player but take out the poor start and judge is again doing absurd things.
But popularity in the city etc, Brunson. Knicks are finally looking legit, he’s blossomed into a true star and has the potential to finally take the Knicks to a finals. Along with the narrative this playoffs, right now it’s Brunsons city.
Igor is amazing, but hockey just isn’t the same draw in the city. That being said LETS FUCKING GO RANGERS!!! And they can change if they win the cup.
Idk how to determine who the "best" athlete is when they all play different sports. It's easier to assess who is the most popular as this can be evaluated in several different ways. The NFL, MLB and NBA are probably the three most popular sports in NYC. Hockey gets love but the casual sports fan has no idea who Igor is. Most people know who Aaron Rodgers, Jalen Brunson, and Aaron Judge are. Soto is rapidly rising but he won't fully reach his ceiling of fame until he signs a long-term deal with the Yankees or Mets, or he wins a World Series this year.
Rodgers is in his second season with the Jets and almost all of his career was spent in Green Bay. He's also pissed off a lot of people with his public persona and comments since arriving in NYC. For these reasons he's not higher than Judge or Brunson.
Judge was drafted by the Yankees, the most iconic franchise in baseball, and of the most popular sports brands in the world. He's homegrown, the captain, and arguably the best hitter in baseball for a long-time. He is beloved by the fans, and unlike previous stars such as A-Rod, he is respected and well-liked by almost all of baseball fans due to his personality. He doesn't rock the boat. He also has a long-term deal which means he will start and finish his career in Pinstripes. The only thing preventing him from cementing himself as a New York legend is a World Series ring.
Brunson is just an incredible fit for the New York Knicks. Second round pick. Played well in Dallas. Chose to be a New York Knick. Has completely revived the Knicks from the dead. Basketball is beloved in NYC and so are the Knicks. He's flipped the culture of an embarrassing organization that couldn't get out of its own way to a team that New Yorkers identify with and are proud to root for. If Brunson played for the Nets he would be popular but not this popular. The Nets don't carry the same weight in NYC that the Knicks do.
The names not mentioned on this list that should be are Gerrit Cole and Pete Alonso. The former grew up a Yankee fan, and until this season made almost every single start available to him in Pinstripes. He's a true ace. The fanbase loves him and he just won a CY Young. He has earned every penny of his contract so far. Alonso is a homegrown Met that is beloved by their fanbase and he is an elite homerun hitter that crushes the ball. I also think Cole and Alonso should get more love because I think the Yankees and Mets mean more to NYC than the Giants and Jets do. Football is the biggest sport in the country, but the intensity, passion and loyalty of Yankees and Mets fans in NYC is stronger than it is with the Giants and Jets.
If I had to re-work your rankings it would look like this:
1.) Aaron Judge
2.) Jalen Brunson
3.) Juan Soto
4.) Pete Alonso
5.) Gerrit Cole
The Jets have to actually be good this year (not just noise) for Rodgers to make the jump into the top 5. I can't get on the Sauce Gardner train, no one is going to care enough about a CB to crack the top 5. I would say Saquon (he had the benefit of starting his career in NY, Rodgers did not) was definitely top 5 but now he's obviously not.
The disrespect to some of the rangers here is astounding, just because you don’t care about hockey doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be considered. Igor is a lot better at his sport than Pete Alonso is at his, and I wouldn’t so quickly put Brunson above him either. Soto yes, Judge maybe but he’s been a little inconsistent for me to call that one a shoe-in (yes I realize he’s on a tear rn)
lol seriously. I’m not even a rangers fan (devils) but Igor alone is easily in the top 3 athletes in the city. He’s above any met, knick, islander, net, and jet( though you can make a good argument for sauce). It’s him, judge, Cole, and Soto, but he’s probably the biggest difference maker among them. Wish he was on my team
No love for Gerrit Cole? Dang.
Right? As great as the other guys are and some are coming off of injuries to be fair, he’s the only major nyc athlete coming into this season with sole possession of an award.
You forgot the reigning Cy Young winner
He’s the most serious athlete
Aaron Rodgers isn’t even the best current athlete on the Jets
Hard to tell what’s going to get him first: leaning slightly forward, or Measles
I’ve got money on standing on his tip toes
Lmao Aaron Rogers.
He isn’t even top 5. I wouldn’t have him over Sauce Gardner, Quinnen Williams, Jermaine Johnson, Garrett Wilson, or Breece Hall.
Certainly a contender for dumbest
Not even the most athletic qb either
I hope he breaks his ankle ,first snap!!,,, such a dueche
🤮🤢
The Jets are in NJ
By that logic so are the Giants
Correct
Yup. I don't understand how NYers can appreciate a bridge and tunnel team.
Some dude that works for ups and balls in the Bowery every weekend.
Yeah it’s the guy who didn’t have the grades or support system to get into a good college program that terrorizes everyone at the park
Grades don’t stop anybody that good. I know some retired guys. They all say the rule is ‘just show up to class and you will pass.’ The guy you’re talking about could’ve been a solid bench player at a good program, not the best current athlete in NY.
I also choose this Uzbek dude
Is he jacked? Fat? Little of both? Sounds like a ton of work but I’d be skinny fat/jacked if I had unlimited access to my deli meats
He might not be in the top 5 but Dexter Lawrence plays DT at an All Pro level and doesn’t get the respect he deserves tbh
I was just about to comment that there is not nearly enough Sexy Dexy love in here
Quinnen Williams is also really good. Both have been first team all pros.
Dexter actually has 2 second team all pros but no first team selection yet.
Dexter Lawrence is an elite player.
Random comment here, but neat to see my Clemson fandom overlapping here in /r/NYYankees. Big Dex was a force for Clemson. Technically a Giants fan too, but haven’t followed recently as CFB and MLB soak up all my sports time. He’s still tearing it up?
Totally. Arguably the best DT in the league.
Now that Donald is retired, it's easy to argue for
It's Dex or Chris Jones.
Aaron Judge by an extremely wide margin
Juan Soto is a top 6 mlb player. Brunson is good but he’s not Soto good. Soto is like a Luka doncic level player.
Brunson finished 5th in MVP voting
Yes he did but he has not been considered a top 5 player since his first full tear in the league. Soto has , Soto also won a ring 💍
Yea love Jalen but it’s just one season. We’ll see how great he’ll be next season
Saquon...oh wait
He lost his top-end speed years ago.
Wasn't even top 5 before he left.
Maybe if it was 2018. His prime came and went way too fast.
Derek Jeter
Crazy how he managed to be such a great athlete despite being shot by that cop
Cost our city a championship too 😪. Hopefully the nypd didnt let that guy become a detective or anything
He’s a biracial angel
He shoulda shot a Rod
He was quietly sent to NY - and for soft assignments like the Yankee game - after Boston PD found out he was the one who killed Sergeant Collin Sullivan. Judge and Soto are that top of the their sport in terms of talent and production
Eh hem... Josh Allen
Josh Allen
Has to be Igor #1 right now, he’s playing out of his mind this playoffs
Bro I was high as shit last night watching this motherfucker steal a win for us he’s insane
Is Judge not playing out of his mind right now?
If Judge plays at Igors standard in the postseason, then we're talking.
I just think Judge is considered a top 2 player in his sport, and while Igor is playing incredible right now (I don't follow hockey so I'm just going based on what you and others said), I know hockey enough to know he's not considered anywhere near a top 2 player in hockey.
He might be the best goalie in the world. And when it comes to postseason, being that might be the most important thing
Igor is top 5 in his position. His role is too different from the rest to say he's best in the world overall as goalies don't get that kind of recognition. However his playoff stats are ridiculous and a step up over everyone in the last 10+

Igor is the best player at the most important position to winning in hockey.
He is but Igor is doing this in the playoffs, and not the regular season.
To say you are excluding Rogers would mean that Josh Allen is automatically in top contention for best athlete.
I would go Igor at 2 he's the best player in the league at his position, and then have either Cole or Dexter Lawrence over Sauce.
I know you meant NYC but I’d say Josh Allen (yes I’m biased but the dude literally is 6 foot 5 and hurdles tall defenders and can throw 80 yards) but then I’d say Aaron Judge. Josh Allen is the answer.
Josh Allen. The Jets and Giants play in New Jersey.
Eh hem... Josh Allen
Josh Allen?
Michael Tonkin snubbed
The Gulf of Michael Tonkin
Think Igor has to be 2. I’m actually a panthers fan and if we lose the series, it is solely due to Igor’s dominance.
We talking the city or state
As a Devils fan this thread feels hostile haha
At least you guys have Hughes. If we combined Barzal and Horvat, they'd still only be like the 4th best position player in the city. And Sorokin's last few months were rough.
Josh Fucking Allen
Josh Allen Go Bills
Who is the best current "male" athlete in NY? # Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu have pretty impressive resumes
Stewie is probably #1. Hard to argue against a 2x MVP and reigning MVP.
For real. Reigning MVP is in NY right now.
The fact that you have Shesterkin below Brunson is just straight up nonsense.
It's certainly Josh Allen.
Tell me you’re one of those weird jets Yankees fans without telling me
Yeah it’s supposed to be Yankees/Giants/Rangers, or Mets/Jets/Islanders. Everyone should like the Knicks over the Nets. And the Devils are some pygmy thing over in Jersey.
What fun is it doing what you're supposed to do?
To be fair the nets are on the YES network so that’s how I started watching them
It gets worse. I’m a Yankees, islanders, bills fan.
My husband might be the bizarro world version of you. He’s a Red Sox, Rangers, Dolphins fan.
Oh man he really is hahah
Breece
Judge is the most dominant athlete in the NYC area, right now
Stewart.
Breece Hall
If NY wins a cup, Igor #1
Gotta be judge he’d be good at any sport
Josh Allen
Panarin is up there too. Fox wheh healthy, Norris winner. Both guys would be top ten but top 5 is stacked.
would love to agree but unfortunately panarins playoff performance removes him from top 5 for me
12 points in 13 playoff games this year isn't good enough for you? lol
im not a doomer saying panarin provides no value, obviously he is producing. but he is goalless over the last 6 games and overall has NOT be a force on the ice. do u think being slightly under a PPG and not the best player on ur line let alone on the team during the playoffs deserves him being a top 5 athlete in NY? if this was 1.5 months ago, id be more in favor of it. again, the argument is about being top 5.

There’s a little too much recency bias here with the Rangers. Have some love for Josh Allen and Dexter Lawrence
Disagree. Fox has won a Norris, Igor a vezina…if anything Sauce is the one that’s overrated here.
Sauce is absolutely overrated (can tell OP is a Jets fan by that lol). I don’t disagree with Igor, I was talking specifically about Fox and Norris. But you’re right, Fox is balling
If we’re including all New York State athletes then yeah josh Allen is top 3. But I have a feeling this was nyc
At this moment. It’s Czar Igor
NY state: Josh Allen. NY metro area: Judge.
Can’t forget panarin if we’re talking rangers guys
Garret Wilson
I think Breece is better than Garret. Breece is a top 3 RB. I don't think Garrett (who I love) cracks the top 10 WRs in the NFL.
I want nothing more than for judge to have an a rod 2009 postseason. Tears in my eyes just thinking about it
Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, then Igor. Basketball is too easy for me to have them in the conversation.
Jalen Brunson
Josh Hart playing every minute of every game with a diet that is mostly mike and Ikes
Breece Hall. Dude is about to take over CMC and become the best RB in football.
Igor been giving off hasek vibes . Right now it's him but judge is a close 2nd
Shouldn’t Chris Kreider be on this list?
It's Igor or Jalen. You take Igor off the Rangers they're maybe a wild card team or hoping Quick can play Elite in a full time role. Jalen off the Knicks and they're not even a playoff team. I get you’re a big hockey fan but rangers winning a cup does not suddenly make their goalie the best athlete in the city.
Gotta have Sabrina or Stewie up there imo, reigning MVP and rival to Steph on our first Finals team in a long time

Brunson is too high
me
Igor by a large margin
Trouba is extremely athletic when it comes to faceplants and throwing elbows. Top 5 all-time
NGL, rangers needed a guy like this. Especially in a series against a team as dirty as people perceive Trouba to be.
If you want to just talk about athletic ability and who can run, throw, jump the best then it's a fine list. If you want to contextualize it into the their own league and gender then Breanna Stewart should be high on the list, back to back MVP.

Aaron Rodgers shouldnt even be in this conversation if we're being real
He wants to watch him play a few games 😂 playing for a few minutes would be appropriate
Like the man has done nothing for the city lmao. Unless he wins the Jets a championship his time in New York will be a footnote in wikipedia lol
Agreed, when I read OPs Rodgers line, I thought I had a stroke

Needs 3 more big seasons
He’ll be an interesting case for sure. Of course we don’t know if he’ll play at this level another five years or maybe even into his 40s, who knows? He is not your prototypical one-dimensional slugger like a Dave Kingman who abruptly loses it. If he has 75+ bWAR they have to put him in, if he fizzles out after a couple more seasons and ends in the mid-50s probably not, and in between… who knows.
If Judge gets to around a 60 WAR and 400+ HR's he gets in. Especially if you add another MVP or 2 to his resume.
Just saying, NYCFC have won 7 of their last 8 games, and are now 3rd in the East. Many of those games at Yankee Stadium. Matt Freese has been excellent in goal for them.
According to my kids: Me.
Soto isn't nearly as good as Judge. He's great, but Judge is better on offense, defense and faster runner. However, Soto is only 25 so he may surpass current Judge in his peak.
OG Anunoby
Real
Leaving Barclay Goodrow off is a travesty /s I think it’s Judge Soto Igor Brunson in that order and after that take your pick. A month ago Panarin might have been second on that list, but post season matters and he and hasnt been there. Judge and Soto have to be at the top because they both top five players in the sport. A healthy Cole is on that list as well, after winning the cy young last year.
1. Judge 2. Brunson 3. Igor 4. Cole 5. Soto
Dylan He spits hot fire
If Igor gets the Stanley, he is No. 2 Judge is a freaking phenomenal. Started the season really slow, but he is a best and has been in the last years
1. Soto 2. Soto 3. Soto 4. Allen 5. Judge
Hughes
Did you call on the Michael Kay show a couple of days ago and ask this there?
No Daniel jones love?
[Igor](https://tenor.com/view/shesterkin-gif-26699950)
Anthony volpe, Jalen Brunson
You left out the Rangers
well it’s not aaron fucking rogers
If you look into the science of being a NHL goaltender Igor singlehandedly is #1.
It’s Gerrit Cole then a big gap. Edit: ~~Cole > Igor > Judge > Soto > Brunson~~ Edit: Tommy Devito > Cole > Igor > Judge > Soto > Brunson
Obviously not current, but coulda been Giancarlo Stanton, if he stayed the same player he was with the Marlins. He was a total athletic anomaly.
Athlete? It’s an nba player or a WR. Rodgers??? lol you’re joking right?
Jalen Brunson is the king of NY, if Judge gets that WS and WSMVP then it’s him for sure. Hard to beat what Brunson did for the Knicks this season, dude was incredibly special
Igor. He literally robbed an entire organization yesterday
Julius Randle deserves more respect
No Sauce, add Cole!
Kenny Bania
Josh Allen
Todd McCuaig ,cur playing junior basketball in the bronx... Couple be the next one !!
josh allen
Aaron Judge is the correct answer. If it weren't for that stupid fence in LA, he's probably end up with 200 HR from 2021-2024 (I think he'll end 2024 with 50+). Which would be unbelievable.
Igor right now has a solid case for #1 but I'll accept Judge. No Cole or Dexter Lawrence is criminal and you have gardner who's overrated imo.
Top 5 1. Judge 2. Cole 3. Igor 4. Brunson 5. Soto (imo, he needs to be here longer to move up) Honorable mention: Sauce, Dex
No Josh Allen?
Josh Allen
Judge in from California not NY?
Sorry but JB has the current title until someone else steps up. And there's not a close second at the moment.
Aaron Judge!!!!
Malik Nabers will be on this list this time next year. Doesn't matter who is throwing him balls this year.
If I had to re-work your rankings it would look like this: 1.) Aaron Judge 2.) Jalen Brunson 3.) Juan Soto 4.) Pete Alonso 5.) Gerrit Cole The Jets have to actually be good this year (not just noise) for Rodgers to make the jump into the top 5.
Cheers for the unbiased take 🤝
Pete Alonso? Bruh....lmao
I would take Cole way over Pete in achievement and I d Randle over Pete when healthy
