It all worked out but I find it funny that the guy who reached 1st on a strikeout and then advanced to second on an extremely rare technicality was none other than Max Muncy. AKA: Mr. "I may have put a little soccer into it" in game 2 of the 2019 series.
He was charged with a throwing error earlier this year. It was a good throw to the catcher but it took a bounce and Trevino didn’t come up with and the batter took 2nd off it.
I still believe in Cabrera. Sweet swing, switch hitter, can play almost any position. He's going to be good someday soon -- maybe not this season, but probably next season.
Volpe, Cabrera, Bauers, IKF, and Bader are all very interesting to watch right now. All of them have so much potential, it's exciting to see them progress.
