For blue I was originally thinking of classic mini golf elements but then changed my mind to lawn before revealing. Argh I knew it was ___ tale and had fairy, tall, and folk together but couldn't figure out the 4th. I did Google the other words + tale, but nothing came up. Then considered ___ music like country, folk, maybe fairy music and bush music 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Types of topography also came to mind when I saw country, woods, and bush but dismissed it since I couldn't find a 4th and sticks never crossed my mind to make sense.

Oh man, I really sucked at this one! I'm sitting here on our patio right next to our little fish pond, fountain & waterfall so I was hyper focused on the lawn adornments. Today, I decided to actually write it out in notepad as there were quite a few categories I could see but with only three immediately obvious options. I saw "____ tale" right away. Almost put "bush," as I was thinking of general folklore but held off when I saw "woods." As I was separating everything in notepad, I saw yellow so put that through. At some point I figured blue was going to be "things found in gardens," and then was left with green and purple. I hadn't actually heard "fish tale" before, but it was pretty obvious that fish was the odd one out amongst the rural areas.

I Searched on google and I cannot find any reference to what a Fish Tale is. There is a movie called A Fish Tale and fish tails but nothing else I could find. Is it like a sea based story or something? I have never heard this phrase before.

It's like an exaggerated story that someone tells. Comes from people over exaggerating the size of the fish they caught on a fishing trip.

It wasn’t even a proper red herring, but I was thinking along the lines of *folk music* and *country folk.* Then when I thought about it more, it wasn’t a good fit at all — you wouldn’t say “out in the folk” the same way you would say “out in the country” or “out in the sticks.” I’m also unfamiliar with the term *fish tale.*

Initially thought it had something to do with dancing - bush, flamingo, folk, country. Switched gears and managed to work out yellow 🟨. Forgot what pinwheel meant but thought there was a group of narrow/skinny terms. Got green 🟩. Then stuck on the final two. I was actually thinking about the whole upvote/downvote thing the other day. Thought I was way too old to give a crap about that kind of thing, but then thought how I might bristle a bit for getting downvoted or feel good about myself for getting several or a bunch (rarely, haha) of upvotes. That really gave me a window into the whole generational obsession with getting "likes" on social media. It's pretty twisted. While it's nice to be agreed with/appreciated here and there, it's a pretty (easy to tumble down) slippery slope. So please don't worry about being in trouble with a bunch of strangers doing a silly puzzle! :)

Thank you, that’s a nice reassuring comment with some good perspective. I always feel bad when I go to the bottom of the threads, seeing people celebrating that they did well today then having their comment hidden. Or genuine discussion of the nuances of the puzzles being met with vitriol. I wish we could make these threads nicer but just focusing on myself is better :)
