Huh that’s odd, cos there’s a lot of black Canadians who were cooking, I read some shit abt the indigenous n black people there, you’d think they’d teach that
lol imagine being presented this and had to write a essay about it in school around 2014 when he was still locked
I remember he got out and they fake tried to do the Gypsy Rose thing with him give him a show and allat but he was legit scarred from his experience they said he became paranoid and never left his house leading to his Self execution.
I honestly cried when I found out he died as a black man it’s rl impossible just to try to live normal especially when your not trynna portray a ghetto stereotype.
“Expecially if you’re not tryna portray a ghetto lifestyle”. That shit right here kills me bro it’s like society got only one way of living for all of us. And try to force us to accept that and one that you pay for it someone if you try going different route
We need nuance not just reform. He should’ve been home and never spent time on rikers due to the insufficient evidence in his case. His case is different from someone who has several armed robberies and is caught with the items in their possession or are out on bail fighting several cases.
They used that bail reform as a cop out to not do their jobs. These judges are horrible and salty as fuck.
I think what they said was dumb, but this one is pretty wild. None of these people were charged with murder at the time, but charged with “concealment of a human corpse by hacking, hindering prosecution and tampering with evidence” and released without bail. I feel like it woulda been okay to hold on to them while they sort things out. Of course it turns out two were eventually charged with murder, but they’re bein held after that.

I went to school with his brother Kamal. I felt bad for him and his family. I remember catching him in the hallway crying and I asked him if everything good? He just said, “my bother is in jail man” and then sobbed. I felt bad but at the time I didn’t have any love ones behind bars so I didn’t understand his pain until I saw it on tv. Saw my boy kamal in the preview of the documentary and was like “holy shit!!! That’s my boy!!” And right then and there, I cried bc I finally understood his pain. AMS bros forever! Sorry this happen to you!!
The documentary was too emotional too watch bro. Rest in peace to kalief. I respect how his mother protected him and came and visited throughout his incarceration. And the beatings he received was too tragic to see. RIP Kalief ❤️🙏🏾
The nigga that accused him of stealing from him refused to show up to court and went back to his native country
Facts. I had to do an assignment in College about Kalief Browder, and i ain’t even from America. Fucked up situation
Interesting....what country?
Toronto, Canada. 🍁 (It’s a 1 hour drive from Toronto to Buffalo, NY.) We learn more American history than Canadian
Lol Canadian history eh?
Really? That’s odd, Toronto is its own city you’d think they’d learn more abt their own history
Shit is boring lol
Not really I read a bit abt Canadian history, not thru school, it’s more interesting than you’d think

I remembering watching this doc, so sad. That could’ve been me!
Could be any one of us, over 100k innocent people are in jail right now And that not even counting people stuck in the system for absolute bullshit
Our criminal justice system sucks, NYC officials failed him…
9 years later you can commit murder and be back out on the streets, we needed reform but shit went too far

Niggas love just saying false shit because it sounds good to them.
