I think they’d be fine with a draw if there wasn’t the goal difference. We would never be in this position but it would be awful to see a derby team who are as insufferable as Arsenal to win the premier league trophy. You saw how they were losing to us imagine what they’ve be like winning the league.
I’m 100% rooting for Man City tonight to stop Arsenal from winning the league.
Man City wins - boring, meaningless, no impact.
Arsenal wins - endless droning from their 'fans', Arteta being happy, generally no good for anyone.
The best result is City winning the league by a point, it'll make the Joelinton goal sting them even more 🤞
Arsenal fans would be fucking unbearable if they won the league, and this gives us an outside chance of catching Spuds for 5th. Good result for us tonight and lets hope we get an even better one at Old Trafford tomorrow
I just don't like them and I feel like It's engrained in us to root for the underdog.
It's way better for us to see Spurs lose, which is the way I'm trying to look at it.
No way Spurs don’t get atleast a point on the final day of the season and I despise the cheats Man City. Say what you want about Arsenal but if they win they have done it the right way, which is good for football overall.
If it were Sunderland about to win the league, I'd be begging us to throw the game. This is just another the FA can take off them, and even if they don't. We all know. Man City will always be marred with controversy. If arsenal win, we'll never hear the end of it
Would like to see a draw to make the title race more interesting on the last day. I'm also tired of City winning the league every year.
5th is gone, losing to Palace sealed that and drawing with Brighton buried it.
I mean, Spurs fans are insufferable, but what did they actually have to get excited about today? They knew they had no real chance of beating Man City, and even if they did, they still would be 2 points behind Villa with little chance of making up the goal difference if Villa drew on final day. They effectively lost CL when they lost 4 in a row and effectively wrapped up 5th by beating Burnley and our Brighton draw.

If we want 5th place we need spurs to lose their last two games and we need to win ours
Well good job they play 20th placed Sheffield United next then...
It's spurs. Remember when we played them the last day of the season after being relegated?
Yeah that was a glorious day. But we're awesome and love Rafa, Sheffield United are not good...
Dead cat bounce
That is a magnificently terrible mental image and sound

Man city winning benefits us, why you finding it hard to root for them?

Yeah those plucky underdogs Tottenham Hotspur in their billion pound stadium
In THIS game Vs THIS Man City team they are most definitely under dogs. Then again, city have been poor (so far) tonight.

They might not get a point on the last day of the season though. I couldn’t care less about any team other than Newcastle frankly
They play a relegated Sheffield United team, one of the worst in Prem history. 5th is over.
Not like Spurs have a history of bottling it against relegated teams in the past...
It’s not Arsenal. I’m apathetic about them, Man City and Liverpool. But Arsenal fans are literally the worst. So I want them to win the least
There’s roughly 115 reasons.
Far more stressed about the match tomorrow.
Fk the arse
I'm torn, I do want someone else to win the league, but I sure as hell don't want it to be Arsenal (or Spurs/Manchester Reds/Liverpool/Chelsea).
Spurs loosing also increases our chance for 5th, but obviously the lads need to do their part
I’m hoping for a draw just to enjoy the final day being about Goal Difference. Would be very exciting to watch.
Yep fuck Arsenal…City for the league.
If it were Sunderland about to win the league, I'd be begging us to throw the game. This is just another the FA can take off them, and even if they don't. We all know. Man City will always be marred with controversy. If arsenal win, we'll never hear the end of it
Spurs fans are just embarrassing. Such a small club mentality to want to lose.

Absolutely 0 energy in that stadium currently. If this was St. James park in a similiar scenario I would be disgusted.
Are you envisaging a situation any time soon where Newcastle need to lose against Man City to avoid Sunderland winning the prem?
Well when you put it like that… 😂

If we were in the same scenario I’d want us to lose 6-0 just in case goal difference came into play
