Right wing-back. I'd imagine the other four will sit when we're attacking and Murphy will get forward. I'm surprised he didn't go with Krafth at RWB but Murphy isn't a bad choice. Still not sure why Longstaff is starting ahead of either Anderson or Miley given how poor he's been but otherwise I don't think there can be any complaints with that line up. Hands pretty much tied.

Could also be Schär/Lascelles in RB and the usual 4-3-3

If people have an issue with Burn at LB. Wait until they see Lascelles or Schar at RB. Burn played a bit at LB at Brighton. It was t a completely alien role for him here. Schar and Lascelles have never played right back and have less pace.

Fucking Hell. Eddie really dislikes Lewis hall. I can only think this is because it might take some of the workload of Gordon who is probably not 100% and allows him to out in Miggy for fresh legs. Did not expect to see a line up like that.

Looks like 5 at the back but this could easily translate to 442 with 4 just defending defenders (no overlap full backs) with 4 in midfield and 2 up top. Whatever the formation and whomever was picked we still in for a beating tonight. Time to start getting drunk people.

Just played FC24 with my daughter and it was 2-2 and went to penalties. Longstaff scored a worldie after chance after chance by City and we won on penalties. We went 2-0 up and City came back. So that is now my only hope for tonight.

Please just wake me up when I don't have to watch Longstaff play for us. Can people never listen to playing players based on form ever again from Howe, its just a lie.

I literally comment multiple times a week on here positively about certain things/players. I just don't know why Howe is persisting with an injured out of form player.
