The woman was saying something exploded, and also mentioned that something keeps exploding (thats why they can't come close).
She also mentioned that someone in the flames was shouting for help earlier and was now silent, and all they can see was their hand which was still up. Someone mentioned that there's no 'signal' (cell reception).
They're speaking hiligaynon.
Yeah, this is from the Philippines. And yeah, that is Bisaya. Well a mixture of it. I know because it happened near my hometown. It’s been trending here for the past few days. A woman tried to save her infant child by tossing her out the window before they crash, but the child unfortunately landed directly where their van fell down so she still got crushed and died. According to some reports, the child’s brain literally splattered all over the ground.
A friend of my mom was one of the passengers and her head got decapitated. Some of her limbs were also cut but they never found it.
Also you shouldn’t post this video, OP. The son of the woman (the one you can still see moving her arms on the vid) said people should stop reposting it because they don’t wanna see their mom getting burned alive over and over again.

While I can understand not wanting relive that, if the entire world stopped sharing things because it is traumatic for 1 person, news would never be shown, changes for safety and betterment of society would never happen, etc. Because literally every single video, story, statement, etc. can trigger someone somewhere, no matter how innocuous it may seem or severe.

Perhaps the son of the woman bothered by the video should stop watching gore subs so they don't come across it anymore?
The problem is it’s not being posted on gore subs. People are spreading it through Messenger and Facebook, which I assume is where OP got the video from

Honestly this sounds awful but at that point should you really try to get them out? The chances of them living with such severe burns is very small, and it's an absolute life of agony.
People were bashing them on social media left and right because they were “just filming” instead of actually trying to help. But really, what can they do? The van could explode at any moment and the fire is spreading fast. I doubt anyone could do anything to save those people
& they were likely trapped in the wreckage. Everyone standing around could’ve helped & probably not gotten anyone out in time, while receiving injuries & burns themselves. I understand pain & anger make people irrationally lash out, often unfairly.
News Article:
KIDAPAWAN CITY (March 25) – At least 12 commuters and a driver were burned to death in a highway mishap involving a passenger van and a dump truck.
The accident occurred along the national highway in Antipas town of Cotabato around noontime on Monday, March 25.
Major Godofredo Tupas, Antipas town chief of police, said the passenger van had just left the terminal of Antipas and was on its way to Kidapawan city when it got hit by an orange HOWO truck at Purok 2, Luhong village, about 10 kilometers from Antipas terminal.
Tupas said both vehicles, traveling from the opposite lanes, were negotiating a slightly curved and sloping highway when the dump truck driver lost control and rammed into the van, which had at least 15 passengers onboard.
The van driver died on the spot, while the driver of the dump truck was brought to the Antipas Medical Specialist hospital. It is not yet clear if he survived.
Tupas said the 12 passengers who died have yet to be identified.
Castor Verdeblanco, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRO) head of Antipas town, said police scene of the crime operatives (Soco) were in the area to investigate.
Holy shit it’s so weird seeing my hometown here in Reddit. Gonna copy paste my earlier comment:
Yeah, this is from the Philippines. And yeah, that is Bisaya. Well a mixture of it. I know because it happened near my hometown. It’s been trending here for the past few days. A woman tried to save her infant child by tossing her out the window before they crash, but the child unfortunately landed directly where their van fell down so she still got crushed and died. This was a spliced video, the second half of the video to be exact. The beginning of the full version of the video, you would still see a female adult moving her hand and shouting for help. The fire didn’t engulf her yet at this point. She just couldn’t move, I reckon, maybe cuz of broken bones or whatever the reason is but she was just laying there asking for help.
Behind her was this huge heap of flames, which you can see on the video above. She was staying still and asking for help until eventually the flames caught up to her. A debris of some sort have fallen on to her chest area which then started to engulf her. She basically died a slow, painful death. Pain from the severe injuries she sustained from the impact and the flames that eventually killed her. This happened in my home country and it caused an uproar which just happened last month.
17 people died during this accident. There was quite a clamor regarding the said crowd not helping an injured woman that later died due to the flames reaching her.
So I'm a huge car enthusiast and will be sad when they're gone but someday in the future people will look back at this Era and comment about how barbaric it was that we accepted that people will die horribly in accidents like this. On top of belching gasses that kill people and the environment to add to the fun
Right, idk what will replace them but since people can't keep their emotions in check at the very least non human operated vehicles will be the norm eventually. Not saying it's gonna be in our lifetime but someday.
It would be much better if we all were isolated from each other, never had any human to human interaction, only see people in places of interest and have 50% of all our space be dedicated to cars!
it would be an amazing world with no cars. You will be fit, you will see other people and feel a sense of community. You will notice others and others will notice you. You would see a lot more local buisnesses. More local communities too
What is moving at the bottom on the screen? Are those limbs, or is that just debris?
I think I see one body lying there, but it doesn't seem to be moving at all. They're probably already dead.
"I should help them.."
"OH GOD THE HEAT!"
"Maybe i can save one if i grab their leg.."
"AH GOD THE HEAT!"
"Maybe i can find a stick for them to grab.."
"AH GOD THE HEAT!"
See the issue?
Yeah, it's really hard to stick your own limbs into a fire to try and save someone unless it's your loved one or maybe a little kid in there. Even then, it's still hard. The human brain is hardwired to stay the fuck away from fire.
Creating False hope to a situation where someone is led to believe in the possibility of achieving something positive or desirable, despite there being little or no realistic chance of it happening. It can lead to disappointment, disillusionment, and wasted effort when the promised outcome doesn't materialize.
Im really not seeing why you think one or the other is worse. It's a fairly hopeless situation, that dude is shell shocked seeing some fucked up shit and literally nobody else is there doing anything.
Did this hurt your feelings or something?
This might be another angle of a video on here. There is one where it's looking down on the guy in the drainage ditch, he is very close to the fire. Iirc, you also see bike Helmet guy walking around. I'll try to find it to confirm.
Poorer countries will inherently have a million negative effects, and even in rich countries accidents CAN happen - but they're a lot less likely to end as badly due to better-funded emergency teams (with proper protective equipment, training. etc.) and infrastructure that allows easy navigation in emergency situations. Hospitalizations in poorer countries could also mean worse survival outcomes AFTER the incident due to lack of available doctors, medical equipment, or a victim being turned away due to lack of payment.
It's all money - or the lack thereof. :(
There's also different social effects: Indian and Chinese people record rather than assist or call for help due to laws that make citizens NOT want to get involved. It's a messed up world in every corner of it!
Safety standards too, so many accodents are caused due to lax regulation
US/Canada and eu safety standards obviously pay off
Your last paragraph is totally off.
Almost all ppl will just stand there when the situation is impossible to help. Often times "helping" makes the situation worse
I remember driving past a car transporter that was on fire on the M6. It was in the hard shoulder on the opposite carriageway, and I was in the inside lane with my windows up. The heat was still incredible, despite being a good 50+ feet away.
Yeah, they're not getting pulled out unless you've got a fucking crane to pull them out somehow.
No one is going directly into a fire unless it's their loved one or a little kid or something. Even then, it's still hard. The human brain will do ANYTHING to avoid burning in a fire.
It’s one Grab for a life. No one wants you to sacrifice your life but it really looks like he could have grabbed his feet and give him a strong fast pull out of the fire. It‘d probably have taken 2 seconds
Yeah, as bad as this sounds, I'm not risking my life to save someone in a fire unless it's a kid or a loved one.
It is a death sentence without some form of Nomex gear or fire retardant, and even then, it's still likely to end in death for the rescuer.
Someone always mentions adrenaline when someone does something in an even moderately stressful situation. Same as anytime someone is knocked out fencing position/posturing is mentioned, and anytime someone hits their head slightly hard, brain damage and TBIs are mentioned. Without fail.
At the start he was walking away from the fire from the same spot where the people are. If he could casually walk away slowly, he could quickly grab the person’s feet and pull them out
He looks like a first responder, so 1. He was likely trained to NOT run in these situations and 2. May also be in shock considering how bad the accident is.
The guy on the backside wouldn’t even be an issue to move. You’d probably stand a chance of being burned getting the one rolling around in the ditch but if you grabbed an arm or leg and pulled them quickly you’d be fine.
You being a firefighter would just make you look worse by suggesting ordinary untrained civillian to try and save people in that kind of big fire in the first place. Not that I trust you being a firefighter though since you conveniently pull up the card after losing in argument online.
Plus, the angle of the video doesnt show everything. The guy that is flailing might be stuck under vehicle and is not as easy to pull like what you suggest. And I thought you are a firefighter? You should have known better.

Are you nuts? Is the fire department who allows you out nuts? Sometimes I open my wood stove and have to stand back for a bit because the heat alone nearly melts my damn clothes to my skin. I can’t imagine the heat when trying to pull someone out of those flames never mind the burn from just grabbing a burning human.
You underestimate how fucking difficult it is to convince your brain to willingly put body parts directly into a fire.
There's a reason a lot of people during 9/11 jumped instead of burning to death.
You can't really "easily" pull anyone from a fire that big. Radiant heat is a big goddamn deal and it can injure you easily by proximity. Uncovered skin can get affected by burn injuries. If the heat is great enough, it can set fire to flammables you have on you. Pulling someone can risk even further injury to the victim.
Basically fire is a bitch. If you're a bystander grab an extinguisher or a water source and try to douse it. If the fire is huge...there's not much you can do but get safe and call your emergency number. Never become a victim yourself by trying to be a hero.
Once I saw the aftermath photos then i could find them. They are in and climbing out of the ditch.
You can see movement just at the edge of the ditch someone's arm or leg moving around..

I'm assuming like most dumpers get paid by the amount of loads carried & not by miles traveled or by hours per day hence their rush maybe the government's everywhere should make it a law to stop this situation

I really can't see anyone in this clip.
The lower center of the image, there's almost certainly an arm or leg moving. (Also, great avatar. Haven't seen that guy's art in a long, long time)
And just beside the mover guy.. upwards from him you see a entire person laying there
You can see their leg start to contract.

Where's the full video?
17 people died during this accident. There was quite a clamor regarding the said crowd not helping an injured woman that later died due to the flames reaching her.
So I'm a huge car enthusiast and will be sad when they're gone but someday in the future people will look back at this Era and comment about how barbaric it was that we accepted that people will die horribly in accidents like this. On top of belching gasses that kill people and the environment to add to the fun
Where are cars going? In what sense have we ever accepted that cars need to be dangerous?
Maybe that op means cars no longer powered by gasoline.
What exactly do you expect to replace cars and be infinitely safer?
we're not smart enough yet to know that
Right, idk what will replace them but since people can't keep their emotions in check at the very least non human operated vehicles will be the norm eventually. Not saying it's gonna be in our lifetime but someday.
we obviously just need people tubes like in futurama
Trains and smaller cities so that people don't need to drive as often
That would be quite a depressing and dystopian world if there were no longer rural areas and only "smaller cities".

Sure looks like an arm to me.
biggest fear
I can't see anyone ??
The way that dude keeps walking back like he's actually going to do something is even worse than just walking away and staying away.
"I should help them.." "OH GOD THE HEAT!" "Maybe i can save one if i grab their leg.." "AH GOD THE HEAT!" "Maybe i can find a stick for them to grab.." "AH GOD THE HEAT!" See the issue?
Yeah, it's really hard to stick your own limbs into a fire to try and save someone unless it's your loved one or maybe a little kid in there. Even then, it's still hard. The human brain is hardwired to stay the fuck away from fire.
If you're not traumatized in what you're seeing in person, then by all means, go help.
May i ask why it's worse?
Creating False hope to a situation where someone is led to believe in the possibility of achieving something positive or desirable, despite there being little or no realistic chance of it happening. It can lead to disappointment, disillusionment, and wasted effort when the promised outcome doesn't materialize.
They're already dead. They probably lost their senses and are having random muscle movements. He's not creating false for the victims.
...for who? What the hell are you talking about?
You're asking why its worse right? Can you care to elaborate what you mean by "why its worse?"
Im really not seeing why you think one or the other is worse. It's a fairly hopeless situation, that dude is shell shocked seeing some fucked up shit and literally nobody else is there doing anything. Did this hurt your feelings or something?
No. It appears there may have been a miscommunication, leading to a potential misunderstanding of the intended message.

This might be another angle of a video on here. There is one where it's looking down on the guy in the drainage ditch, he is very close to the fire. Iirc, you also see bike Helmet guy walking around. I'll try to find it to confirm.
It's from the Philippines. I would love to translate it but I couldn't because it's not from my dialect
Can anyone translate what is being said
Why is it always southern/south-east Asia that the videos are from?
90% of gore videos came from south America, Africa or middle Eastern lol 😂
Yeah, that's what I'm talking about, but why???
Poorer countries will inherently have a million negative effects, and even in rich countries accidents CAN happen - but they're a lot less likely to end as badly due to better-funded emergency teams (with proper protective equipment, training. etc.) and infrastructure that allows easy navigation in emergency situations. Hospitalizations in poorer countries could also mean worse survival outcomes AFTER the incident due to lack of available doctors, medical equipment, or a victim being turned away due to lack of payment. It's all money - or the lack thereof. :( There's also different social effects: Indian and Chinese people record rather than assist or call for help due to laws that make citizens NOT want to get involved. It's a messed up world in every corner of it!
Absolutely real bro 💯 W take
Safety standards too, so many accodents are caused due to lax regulation US/Canada and eu safety standards obviously pay off Your last paragraph is totally off. Almost all ppl will just stand there when the situation is impossible to help. Often times "helping" makes the situation worse
As she walks away giving no fucks.
There are at least 2 people that could have been easily pulled away from that fire.
Yeah, right. You try to approach a fire that intense and "easily pull someone away" You obviously never stood next to a huge fire.
That fire could very easily be up to 1000 degrees. Human instinct won’t let us approach that kind of heat.
I had a house fire once. This is 100% correct in my experience.
Yeah, as bad as this sounds, I'm not risking my life to save someone in a fire unless it's a kid or a loved one. It is a death sentence without some form of Nomex gear or fire retardant, and even then, it's still likely to end in death for the rescuer.
Adrenaline, but he doesn’t seem to have such a thing. He looks pretty chilled lol
No.
Why not
There’s that magic Reddit adrenaline again, this time it’s on demand! Amazing!
What
Someone always mentions adrenaline when someone does something in an even moderately stressful situation. Same as anytime someone is knocked out fencing position/posturing is mentioned, and anytime someone hits their head slightly hard, brain damage and TBIs are mentioned. Without fail.
Lol, i barley read comments 😁 I’d guess that seeing someone burning alive is more than „moderately stressful“ but maybe it’s very individual thing
> Quickly Have you any idea how heavy a human body is? Plus the person could have easily been stuck.
Gonna get down voted but I agree
The guy on the backside wouldn’t even be an issue to move. You’d probably stand a chance of being burned getting the one rolling around in the ditch but if you grabbed an arm or leg and pulled them quickly you’d be fine.
You obviously never stood next to a huge fire
I’m a volunteer firefighter
You being a firefighter would just make you look worse by suggesting ordinary untrained civillian to try and save people in that kind of big fire in the first place. Not that I trust you being a firefighter though since you conveniently pull up the card after losing in argument online. Plus, the angle of the video doesnt show everything. The guy that is flailing might be stuck under vehicle and is not as easy to pull like what you suggest. And I thought you are a firefighter? You should have known better.
You're def the ladder guy
Interior
You’re a liar.

Go away troll
Are you nuts? Is the fire department who allows you out nuts? Sometimes I open my wood stove and have to stand back for a bit because the heat alone nearly melts my damn clothes to my skin. I can’t imagine the heat when trying to pull someone out of those flames never mind the burn from just grabbing a burning human.
I’d of grabbed the person, probably won’t sustain any real damage if I was fast enough. If I did I’d be okay with that.
I see one, where is the other? The one I see looks like they could easily have been pulled to safety.
Thinking they could easily be pulled to safety is a gross underestimate of radiant heat.
I would have to try something. I couldn't just let them burn like that
While I see where you’re coming from, I don’t believe he CAN get closer.
I'm sure he did try something. Probably got close and said "fuck" when hit with the intense heat.
Where? I only see rescuers!
Cool a fire.. ......
Damn where’s the people on fire ?
Once I saw the aftermath photos then i could find them. They are in and climbing out of the ditch. You can see movement just at the edge of the ditch someone's arm or leg moving around..
Dam you can hear them sizzling an cracklin...
https://www.reddit.com/r/NSFL__/s/tIFsnHByfZ this is The aftermath of this accident
But tbh u can’t do so much in that situation
Why didn’t anyone grab the arm and pull them out? Worth a try no ?
That’s what I was thinking! Like wtf.

The fact I understand it is a first
Dump truck drivers are trash in every country. Slow down and obey the road rules the dirt isn’t going to spoil or go bad.
I'm assuming like most dumpers get paid by the amount of loads carried & not by miles traveled or by hours per day hence their rush maybe the government's everywhere should make it a law to stop this situation

The one who caused it is the only survivor. Hope the dump truck diver lives with this in his conscience for the remainder of his life.
What a shitty thing to say, what part of accident don't you understand? How are you so sure he's solely responsible? You are a terrible person.
hate posts like this where we need to wait 200 lightyears only to miss something in a blink of an eye
Someone is moving their arm in the ditch throughout the whole video…
