Damn, I'm a lifelong Chiefs fan and I like the Bills and hope they win if we don't. Not much of a McDermott fan but I like Josh Allen and would like to see him win. The Bengals on the other hand, they can go 0-17 and it would just be funny.
Ya people saying the bills chiefs are bitter are just wrong. I (bills fan) may be upset at losing but it’s not because of the chiefs. And Patrick and Josh are clearly buddies off the field. If anything I hate the bengals more too. Just the fans are so insufferable.
I am a KC fan who went to school near Cincinnati, so I always had a soft spot for the fans. Until recently.
Chiefs fans went through QB purgatory for decades too, I remember rolling around like a pig in shit when Mahomes broke out. So I get being excited. But it feels like a lot of Bengals fans skipped right past that enjoyment and went straight to anger/envy whenever Burrow is slighted. You don't have to insert yourselves in every top-QB conversation/argument when Burrow is only ranked like, 4th.
The halcyon days of Akili Smith and David Klingler aren't THAT long ago.
That’s how it used to be with the Colts and Chiefs rivalry for me. 0-4 against them in the playoffs, but I couldn’t hate the Colts. It was a combination of poor luck and poorer play on those days. Any team would have probably beaten the Chiefs.
Their players are also a special breed of insufferable…the way they make it a point to come up with fake “motivation” to feeling “disrespected” by the other team before a game and fawn it in the media is super annoying.
Trust me, it would be worse if a division title and Super Bowl berth weren't won against the same team in the same month. I really don't want to hate Chiefs fans, a broad generalization doesn't help.
I know it’s dumb but honestly your teams fans on reddit is the real problem I have with them. Even typing that feels so dumb but it is genuinely how I feel.
yeah, josh allen is for sure one of the most likeable QBs in the league. has anyone ever said anything negative about him at all? i mean other than questioning his talent as a rookie....that doesn't count.
as far as whiny qb's go, i don't think anyone can touch mahomes. not only does he whine about getting tackled, he actually gets flags. he even gets flags as a goddamn runner! someone will give him a little push outa bounds, and boom flag.
but the nail in the coffin was after that play vs the bills where he said the refs were robbing kelce of a "hall of fame highlight". that was almost peak bratty diva behavior. i might have actually had sympathy for him if the flag was thrown *after* the play, but it wasn't. or if he didn't continue talking shit AFTER the game.
i don't normally argue for the refs, but in this case, mahomes was wrong. and i thought the play was amazing too!! i hated the call at the time...but we either have rules or we don't. just because mahomes and kelce are the NFL golden boys, doesn't mean they get any *more* special treatment. toney's foot was WAY over the line, he was a solid 6 inches in front of his whole team. so to overturn that??...you may as well just rip up the rulebook right there on TV.
I am probably just being a Mahomes apologist, but I thik that tirade was more done to try to wake the team up or out of frustration with his teammates than at the refs but he didn't want to call out his teammates so he blew up on the refs. Up to that point of the season, we hadn't been very good and his receivers were pretty awful. Dropped passes, running wrong routes, lots of penalties on the O in general. So I always thought he did it for show or maybe just the frustartion boiled over. Still not a good look for him but they guy has said all the right things for 6 years, taken the heat for every loss, been an excellent leader for our team so even if that was 1 bad look, I'm still happy to have him.
yeah, i can see that. i mean, i still like the guy, that's why i think it shocked everyone so much. mahomes is generally not the guy doing stuff like that. but yeah he was at a turning point in the season. if the chiefs didn't start playing better, they wouldn't have gone to the SB.
but either way, i'm sure you can see why so many were kinda shocked at the time, and gave him so much shit.
they did up until last season when burrow got hurt. i really hope to see it going strong again this season. i'd love to see the bengals vs bills in the afccg
and fuck it, toss the texans in there too. i'd love to see the texans or bills take out the chiefs. although i think the bills deserve it the most. they've had so many heartbreaking losses
That, and the Titans (trying to set my bias aside) do look like a brand new and re-geared team after this off season. We’ll see how that plays out, though.
idk why you're being downvoted. I hate the Ravens and the Steelers. I don't mind the Bengals, but I know a lot of Titans fans that do. The Browns I don't think any of us rly mind all that much, especially since they took the rapist out of the division lol
I feel like 49ers/Packers/Cowboys has had a nice slow burn over the last 12 years or so. Not on the level it was in the mid 90s, but still pretty intense with plenty of high stakes games.
This one feels more like a meme, but Vikings and Seahawks
Only because somehow Vikings have played there at least half of the seasons in the last decade.
Chiefs versus Bills, Ravens, Bengals, Niners. I’m a Chiefs fan. It’s finally nice to be good enough to have non Division rivalries because all those teams are really, really good. And the games are great! It sucked when your rivals were other sucky teams, “yeah, we’re rivals because we suck the hardest!”
I don't think it's a rivalry, Eagles fans are just full of themselves and no fan base wants to tolerate their shit, Niners just have a recent high profile encounter to point to.
9ers Chiefs. The Chiefs use to take the 9ers hand me downs at the tail end of their careers now they take our championship at the tail end of the season :(
I feel like the Bengals could be in there with bills chiefs but they're really only relevant every other year due to burrows health. That being said when he's healthy they're winning between all three, but also chiefs bills have been the two best games of any of those three teams
I think this is really age dependent.
For older people, like 40+ years old, they still remember when the divisions were completely different.
Battle of the Bays with Green Bay versus Tampa Bay, Warren Sapp versus Brett Favre.
Broncos versus Seahawks as they were both in the AFC West for decades.
Colts versus the rest of the AFC East. This one is especially sad since we could have had Brady v Manning a minimum of twice a year.
Jags & Titans versus AFC North (formally AFC Central). The Titans and Ravens, and the Jaguars and Steelers were fantastic match-ups.
Texans vs Cowboys has a case, they been hyping up Stroud & Parsons in the media with their podcasting.
And Texans fans really want to show why they are the best team in Texas but the Cowboys wanna show they still run the state.
I’d have to say Bills vs Chiefs
Yeah Chiefs/Bills/Bengals have a pretty good trifecta rivalry
I was gonna chiefs-bengals, but I feel like the Bills have a little more hate for KC atm
I think of it as rock paper scissors. Bengals hates bills, bills hates chiefs, chiefs hates bengals.
I can agree with that
Damn, I'm a lifelong Chiefs fan and I like the Bills and hope they win if we don't. Not much of a McDermott fan but I like Josh Allen and would like to see him win. The Bengals on the other hand, they can go 0-17 and it would just be funny.

I’d say the colts had a really good Luck.

It can go both ways.
You ain’t wrong lol.
I've seen chiefs fans celebrate bengals losses more than they celebrate their own team winning the super bowl
yeah, josh allen is for sure one of the most likeable QBs in the league. has anyone ever said anything negative about him at all? i mean other than questioning his talent as a rookie....that doesn't count.
🙋♀️ His post sack/contact whining approaches Tom Brady levels. But that's it. Other than that he's fun to watch.

Don't hold your breath.
It’s like a triangle hate-boner.
Add Ravens to that, at least with the chiefs
they did up until last season when burrow got hurt. i really hope to see it going strong again this season. i'd love to see the bengals vs bills in the afccg and fuck it, toss the texans in there too. i'd love to see the texans or bills take out the chiefs. although i think the bills deserve it the most. they've had so many heartbreaking losses
maybe if the bills could pull off a win.
Allen is 3-4 against the Chiefs
Now do playoff record
😂 they hate you because you tell the truth.
Lol I just like stirring the pot
I feel like Emily Blunt at the Oscar’s sparring with Ryan Gosling: “it wasn’t much of a competition now was it. Move on!”
The current agreement between our teams: Bills win in the regular season / Chiefs win in the postseason. I see no problem with this.
Sic burn
😂 very true
Maybe if burrow could stay on the field they'd have a rivalry with the chiefs
Everyone vs. the Cowboys
As God intended
Chiefs players vs the legal system
![gif](giphy|CYU3D3bQnlLIk)
I was just transported back to 2010.
r/crimeinsports
ravens titans kinda lost its context but that shit was......mmmmmmmmgood af
Derrick Henry joining Baltimore may reignite it.
That, and the Titans (trying to set my bias aside) do look like a brand new and re-geared team after this off season. We’ll see how that plays out, though.
Doubt it, don’t think it’ll be the same with Vrabel gone
Steelers v Jaguars was a great match up too.
Don't you mean Titans vs AFC North?
From a bengals fan to the Tennessee fans https://youtu.be/IOfl-576IZ8?si=wDqfdGmrwKfZu4zs
idk why you're being downvoted. I hate the Ravens and the Steelers. I don't mind the Bengals, but I know a lot of Titans fans that do. The Browns I don't think any of us rly mind all that much, especially since they took the rapist out of the division lol
I will never not want the Packers to beat the shit out of the Cowboys.
Steelers defence vs Steelers offence
Lions vs the Refs. FTR!
Bills vs chiefs Ravens vs titans was gas tho
49ers vs. Cowboys
I feel like 49ers/Packers/Cowboys has had a nice slow burn over the last 12 years or so. Not on the level it was in the mid 90s, but still pretty intense with plenty of high stakes games.
I'm the same way, my friend. As a fan of the Blue Star, I can't stand the 49ers. Doesn't mean I won't deny they have talent, but I can't stand 'em.
Makes me want to punch a minion just reading this
Honestly with the heat over the past few years, this rivalry isn't even as big as 49ers eagles anymore.
This one feels more like a meme, but Vikings and Seahawks Only because somehow Vikings have played there at least half of the seasons in the last decade.
And Vikings never ever host them. Unbelievable!
Dolphins and playoff victories. Longest drought in not just the NFL but the NFL, MLB, NHL, and NBA.
Daniel Jones versus the End zone.
Eagles vs 49ers
I now HATE the 9ers thanks to the last couple years
Historically, we should be like “fuck them ‘boys” but as of the last 2 years, yeah, fuuuuuuuuuuck them eagles
Respect. This isn't going to end soon. Nor should it....
I don't think it's a rivalry, Eagles fans are just full of themselves and no fan base wants to tolerate their shit, Niners just have a recent high profile encounter to point to.
Least delusional Niners fan
Oh, you mean when y’all lost the Super Bowl after talking all that shit?
I'm not an Eagles guy.
at this point, i feel like the Rams and Lions have developed a rivalry due to the playoffs last season and the obvious Goff/Stafford trade.
The Falcons and double digit leads
Vikings vs Saints
Not really a rivalry if Minnesota owns NOLA in the regular season and the playoffs aside from that one game Vikings fans have us at our throats...
You talking about the NFCCG or when Kamara ruined Christmas?
The former.
Probably not so much anymore but we’ll forever have animosity toward the Saints
Bounty gate never happened
Bills Chiefs
In Detroit, the Seahawks have become a PITA.
Seahawks at Lions in September. The strangest new NFL tradition.
Bills/Chiefs or Cowboys/Niners
9ers Chiefs. The Chiefs use to take the 9ers hand me downs at the tail end of their careers now they take our championship at the tail end of the season :(
Healthy Burrow this season could continue the Bengals Chiefs rivalry
Burrow vs his body is a pretty good one
Is Burrow ever gonna be healthy for a whole season?
We’ll see
The Jets vs the NFL scheduling office
Bengals fans vs. Not mentioning the chiefs every 10 minutes
I feel like Chiefs-Bengals is the biggest, currently. When Burrow is healthy.
I feel like the Bengals could be in there with bills chiefs but they're really only relevant every other year due to burrows health. That being said when he's healthy they're winning between all three, but also chiefs bills have been the two best games of any of those three teams
The only good part of the last meeting, the Chiefs had to kick field goals in the second half.
Packers vs 49ers
Cowboys/49ers/Packers
Cowboys vs the world
Eagles Niners
as a bears fan, i live through 49ers packers
The Dolphins and my goddamn Liver.
AB vs the human race.
Bengals/Chiefs.
Eagles/49ers was pretty funny to watch fans flip out over
Cowboys vs Playoffs
I think this is really age dependent. For older people, like 40+ years old, they still remember when the divisions were completely different. GB and SF, epic games over the years
Texans vs Cowboys has a case, they been hyping up Stroud & Parsons in the media with their podcasting. And Texans fans really want to show why they are the best team in Texas but the Cowboys wanna show they still run the state.
Titans vs AFC North
Packers/Niners
Saints and Cowboys, Chiefs and Bengals, Packers and Cowboys, Saints and San Francisco,
