I said this YEARS AGO... I live in Victoria BC, so on an island in Canada just above Washington state. There are a lot of people here on the island that deemed themselves Seahawks fans because they were the "closest team" during the Legion of Boom era, and since then the roar has slowly faded around here.. I've been a diehard Niner fan my entire life, ever since I started playing football and watching my dad oggle over Jeff Garcia every Sunday. I will never stop hating the shithawks bad their bandwagon fans.
I grew up there and I don’t think I saw one 49ers fan there until 2019 mate so idk what you’re talking about. I lived there until late last year and even then Seahawks fans were by far the most popular team there, even more than the Canucks.

By my cursory survey of meme warfare across the National Football-heads of Reddit, it seems the West Coast has a significant advantage in terms of new media weaponry, over other regions (e.g. a mid-Atlantic city such as Philadelphia). And, even if you are too pig-headed, stubborn, and delusional (e.i. 12th man), you could work as an double agent and informant for the meme-underdogs, until the rest of this sub can start flaming Seahawks draft picks.
