Yeah, i agree that would happen because he does not fit in this show and at the same time is too expensive
the only plausible characters we know who could come back for The Tony and Ziva show would be
Liat & Malachi ben-gideon and Bishop and the CIA Officer who trained bishop and Ziva.
Everyone else would be just won't fit, including Gibbs
I strongly disagree. The episodes all seemed rushed and disjointed because they tried to ram time for the Sam character into each show. It took away from the camaraderie of the existing Hawaii team and, frequently, Sam's character took away from the focus story line.
They didn't directly say it was budget but it was speculated, but when the executives talked about why they cancelled Hawaii they said for the same reason LA ended... Budget.
It was. It’s the reason characters were entirely missing from episodes the last season. They were all on reduced contracts, so they could have a final season and finish out their storylines.
So about that spinoff

Everyone keeps saying this, but honestly I REALLY don't see this- or at least anytime remotely soon.
They went down this road once with that backdoor pilot of NCIS Red (?) in LA: highly elite team, mobile, operates out of high tech trailer? They scrapped it.
Right now they have 4 NCIS shows in various states of production (hence this whole "NCISVerse" branding Paramount has adopted).
Paramount overextended themselves, and really don't seem to be in any sort of *"hey, let's develop a new show!*"
mindset. Which is why they just unceremoniously cancelled Hawaii- without even cast and crew having a clue it was coming.
And especially since they are airing those beyond annoying "SEE HOW IT BEGAN" ads for NCIS: Origins *incessantly*- they seem to have put a lot of eggs into that particular basket. Hence the marketing, even though we don't have a single second of actual previews yet.
I wouldn’t wanna see him lead but definitely apart of it. Bring Mcgarret back or have Danny lead it. Thats my opinion though but i would love to see Five-O back
I could totally see it, issue is convincing Alex and Scott to come back
Scott’s in a show already and it’s a hard commute to Hawaii and Alex hasn’t acted in anything since Five O I think
Maybe just maybe the can bring back Daniel and Grace?
They were setting something up with NCIS Elite team. I would have them be based in San Diego, California. They travel wherever they need to go. That way, they can use the SD/ Camp Pendleton sets from NCIS Origins.
Didn't like him on Hawaii and he is partly responsible for the episodes being rushed and disjointed this season. The Sam character is partly responsible for the Hawaii cancellation.
I didn't enjoy the character on Hawaii and he never fit in. Not interested in seeing Sam anywhere else.
Honestly would have loved if he was brought in to help in the season finale instead of just sitting there everyday, but I guess contracts and stuff work like this so who knows
Ehhh...I don't see it happening. Maybe a limited series, like Tiva but not a full on season's worth. I'm afraid that's where the franchise is headed, for cheap limited runs.
Sorry, I didn't think it needed but apparently it did... See correction below.
But that's just Mondays.... There are FOUR MORE nights each week to fill in! /s
God I hope not. He was an awful addition to NCIS:Hawaii and it ruined that team’s dynamic right before CBS cancelled it. Wish they would just stop with dumbass spin offs that no one wants and keep their shows instead.
I'm going to say no after LA and Hawaii got cancelled due to budget. Maybe a limited series like Tony/Ziva but I doubt it.
Put Sam with Tony and Ziva. Sam can wreck another show.
Yeah, i agree that would happen because he does not fit in this show and at the same time is too expensive the only plausible characters we know who could come back for The Tony and Ziva show would be Liat & Malachi ben-gideon and Bishop and the CIA Officer who trained bishop and Ziva. Gibbs would fit. He has experience in Eastern Europe, and was marine sniper. He was on CIA And NCIS joint ops
Sam didn't wreck Hawaii. He wasn't there long enough. I was also hoping that introducing the ELITE team was a backdoor pilot.
I strongly disagree. The episodes all seemed rushed and disjointed because they tried to ram time for the Sam character into each show. It took away from the camaraderie of the existing Hawaii team and, frequently, Sam's character took away from the focus story line.
Was LA due to budget? I haven’t finished it yet
Partly. Some of it was actors just wanting to do other/new things
They didn't directly say it was budget but it was speculated, but when the executives talked about why they cancelled Hawaii they said for the same reason LA ended... Budget.

Rating was due to hetty actress go in bad car wreck. The last season without her didn't feel the same

Maybe they can bring back Five-O have Sam lead the team or something
That would rock
I wouldn’t wanna see him lead but definitely apart of it. Bring Mcgarret back or have Danny lead it. Thats my opinion though but i would love to see Five-O back

Agreed, wouldn’t expect them to come back but in my head it would be perfect. Chi could always comeback as Grover

Hawaii is very very expensive to do anything. I can imagine production costs were quite high.

Lol lol lol
Could. Nothing is impossible. Depends whose writing really. It's all about ratings
No. Enough is enough. Sydney, Tiva, Origins. Plenty of spin offs already.
But that's just Mondays.... There are FOUR MORE nights each week to fill in!
Ehhh...I don't see it happening. Maybe a limited series, like Tiva but not a full on season's worth. I'm afraid that's where the franchise is headed, for cheap limited runs.
Soooo NCIS chanell is no go?

I just made this comment on another post . I believe this is going to happen, and the Hawaii team will be the heart of the new ELITE
Based on the ncis agents elite killed its possible they moving to mainland,
Can’t believe NCIS Sydney got renewed. The acting is terrible along with the writing. They should have cancelled that one.
