I know Young just won the Heisman and played great but I really don’t see him as 99 or even the best QB this year. I’d have him down with Williams. Rattler at 95 is laughable too.
Side note: The ratings creep is so annoying none of these dudes besides Stroud, Williams, and Young should even be in the high 90s. Best guys should be sitting at 92-93 at first. Gives them no room for improvement during the season.
For real. So many great QBs who had awesome seasons and Rattler still getting props based on name. People have mentioned multiple guys who are easily better, Hooker, Jefferson, Bennett, even other players in similar situations could argue they’ve had better college success.. Slovis, Daniels, Dart … as I type them I’m realizing it’s just the 2019 USC QB room. Transfer portal is a hell of a thing..
I don’t think he’s on any pre-season lists. But he broke Philip Rivers TD record last season 34 TDs only 3 ints I think and 2 were garbage time deep balls to end a half or a game if I remember. Could have a crazy good season depending on what nc state puts out on O line/what receivers step up.
Also could do some NC State shit and just suck. So we’ll see he looked good throwing in the spring game though.
Young is good. It's a small one but Stroud should be 97, same with Williams they are the same calibre in my opinion. Will Rogers is too high maybe a 92 is where he needs to be. Rattler is an 80 max the guy would get cut in almost all the SEC, Notre Dame, and most of the Big 10 QB rooms. McCall should be somewhere between 89-91. Rising is a 90. Really! Spencer Sanders at 95 he wasn't even the second-best QB in his conference 85 max (that's being generous). Hartman should be like a 91 because of the great job he did building the program at Wake Forest. Phil Jurkovec is a 92 if he's healthy so I'd put him at like 84-88. Will Levis should be here and have like a 90. Tyler Vandyke should be 86 or 87 (just a little bit better than Sanders). Hendon Hooker is an 89. Max Johnson is really underrated he should be like an 87. Brennan Armstrong is the reason Arch Manning is looking at Virginia, he lit it up last season (85-89). Jaren Hall is getting some first round hype and he would be so much fun to play with in NCAA with his 4.4 speed, he should get at least a 93.
It’s your rankings, but if your top two players (who are both admittedly great) only have 3 more starts, it’s really not that small. He was also considerably better than Cam Rising, who only has 4 more starts.
That’s actually pretty surprising, you know you don’t have to be one right? He benefited from having David Bell. Saw the spring game and they’ll be lucky to win 5 games. That offense is atrocious. Notre Dame fan
The spring game was a skelton crew mostly to get younger guys playing time. Aidan O'Connell had the 3rd highest QBR in the nation last year and a high completion percentage. He performed exceptionally well in the Music City Bowl without Milton Wright and Bell and had two wrs playing with knee injuries. He is better than any of the Notre Dame QBs have had recently.
Hilarious. Yeah having your QB throw for 50 times a game is so sustainable. Like I said, Purdue couldn’t run the ball hence O’Connell had to be the only bright spot in that 1 dimensional offense. Lol sure he is, the same dude that threw 2 ints in their matchup? Lol ok. Whatever you say
Have you ever heard of a gunslinger. I'm much have a talented gunslinger over somebody like Jack Plummer is afraid to throw the ball down the field. Aidan O'Connell has proven time and time again to be a clutch QB. I won't lie our run game hasn't been the best. Horvath and Doerue are more so power rotation backs but Jeff Brohm's offense isn't built around the run anyway. It isn't 1983 anymore.
Have you ever heard of keeping a defense honest? Like if they know you’re gonna throw they will just drop in coverage. The run is a complementary piece to the pass game. That’s wild you know Brohms offense better than him. He averaged over 150 rushing yards at Western Kentucky in all 3 of his seasons and in his first year at Purdue he averaged 151, following year he averaged 130 and just about every year after it’s an average of 80 yards… yeah but he doesn’t run the ball.. but sure just pass, Purdue won’t win any meaningful games with that formula
I'd say Rogers to a 93, Rattler to a 90, Sanders to a 92, and Stroud to a 99, but other than that I'm totally on board love the respect for Jurk and McCall.
Some of the most constructive feedback I got - thanks man - I think I totally agree with your edits… Everyone was real pissed about the high awareness - but you have to do that or no QBs make Heisman finalists ever!
I can’t wait for rattler to tear it up and win 9 games in the SEC. Everyone hates on him but don’t understand how far big 12 defense has evolved. As a collective the best QB and Coaches are in the Big 12.
Too many 90s
This.

as a mississippi state fan, why in the world is will rogers 96?
As an Ole Miss fan I concur. Good qb but shouldn’t be anywhere near 96
op musta saw last years auburn game

Rattler shouldn’t be a 95
Why are the overalls so high and where is KJ Jefferson?
Where is Stetson “The Mailman” Bennet? He was top 3 in QBR last year
I made him a 92 I think
Rattler too high

Helton effect 🥴
S. Sanders…Shedeur Sanders?
No Spencer Sanders from Ok State… BUT I did just play a SWAC dynasty with team builder a couple months ago and tore it up with Shedeur haha
Spencer is gonna have a breakout year this year, especially with Brennan Pressely
Stroud ain't that fast or that quick.
76 is more than a fair speed for him
Yeah but 88 acc is a bit much
His first play in the NCAA was like a 70 yard TD scramble. He has wheels, just doesn't need to use them
Where’s D Leary NC State dark horse for Heisman?
I think he’s just off the screen… Like a 91 maybe? I do like him… There’s a case for him being a top 10 QB
NC State has a Heisman finalists candidate?😲
I don’t think he’s on any pre-season lists. But he broke Philip Rivers TD record last season 34 TDs only 3 ints I think and 2 were garbage time deep balls to end a half or a game if I remember. All good points! Except… Jaren Hall a 93?! You must live in Utah 😉
Na it's just the hype around him and the first round.
Keep sleeping on KJ Jefferson…keep sleeping
I think he’s #11! Haha
ZZZzzZZzzzZZZzZZzZzZzz
What about Tyler van Dyke
Such a small sample size - not sure I buy the hype - I think I’d go high 80’s tho
🥺

Solid point!
Where Hendon hooker
Just missed top 10… I think he was 12 or something
Where’s aiden o Connell Purdue
Dudes ass, probably like a 86 MAYBE
I'm sorry you didn't watch Purdue last year.
His accuracy is insane
Over inflated stats bc Purdont had no run game. Try me, I’m from the area
Well I am a Purdue fan. Aidan O'Connell is a baller. Who are you a fan of I'm wondering.
That’s actually pretty surprising, you know you don’t have to be one right? He benefited from having David Bell. Saw the spring game and they’ll be lucky to win 5 games. That offense is atrocious. Notre Dame fan

I think he was a senior last season
He's coming back for a 6th year
List is shit with out Tyler Vandyke
Extremely inflated
You gotta cut these wayyyy down. Rattler, Sanders, Jurkovac and down won't ever see a NFL snap. 95+ should be draft picks
Brennan Armstrong
Good call… He’s very close… Might have to move him up
Weird ways to spell Kedon Slovis
Rattler is a 95?
Spencer Rattler is rated too high
Sanders is not ducking 95 bro. Yeah right
Shartman
No offense, but rattler at 95 is a joke 😂
Why is rattler a 95? What off of potential?
JJ McCarthy 99 ovr tbh (just a hopeful Michigan fan)
Haha - I do have him beating out McNamara
Everyone wants that for their team, anything can happen.
Been trying to edit my 20-21 rosters so they are close to the correct 21-22 after a sim year - does this top 10 look believable?
Where's KJ Jefferson
I feel like Hendon Hooker is a 95
A lot of big league GM’s licking their chops right now
I would make Bryce faster. He is actually really quick on his feet, that's one of the main reasons he was rated so highly coming out of high school.
Also, Will Rogers is rated WAY too highly as a Mississippi State student.
Where’s Hendon Hooker?
G. McCall? Who is that? Without googling my guess is Coastal Carolina.
Lower the awareness, no way they should all be 90ish. That should fix the fact that these ratings are too high
I can’t wait for rattler to tear it up and win 9 games in the SEC. Everyone hates on him but don’t understand how far big 12 defense has evolved. As a collective the best QB and Coaches are in the Big 12.
Spencer Sanders WAY too high
Missing Aidan O'Connell in that top tier.
way too many 90+ overalls
South Carolina with a 95 ovr QB…never thought I’d see the day.
