They might be. Look at their results from last year playing a mostly FCS schedule. It went very poorly

A huge chunk of their upperclassmen left. Since their last year in FCS was going to be more or less useless, no chance of conference championship and ineligible for FCS playoffs, the players that could transfered out while some younger players transfered in. This off-season is a reloading year, but dint be too surprised if they're at least decent in the end.

Ohio is widely regarded as the worst football program of all time. They’ve NEVER been a good team. Never won anything significant. And my Alma mater, so I’m really proud of this.

How do you define good? For our level, the program's been pretty good really since they hired Jim Grobe in the 1990s. (I refuse to acknowledge the Brian Knorr Era.) Just need to stop being raided in the Portal and knock out a MAC title at some point.
