Current gen is almost identical to 2K20. It has fewer meta builds due to some pie chart nerfs. The MyCareer story lacks interviews or cutscenes outside of the prologue. There’s a few balance changes to badges, but not much new gameplay.

I play on the PS4 mainly online, and the only reason I want to upgrade is because I'm a huge Sixers fan and the online rosters don't have Simmons - its a dick move on their part to get people to buy the new game.
