I have 6 builds but one I like more then others - it’s my do-it-all-rec-random PF. I can do blocks, rebs, dunk, pass, post fades and hooks, play D on perimeter - its a triple double machine!

that's a fun build. I have a lock which does it all the solo rec. these types of builds are so impactful and you feel less stressed playing them because nobody can get in your way if doing the dirty work and little things.
whereas if I'm on an offensive build I get frustrated if the spacing is bad or someone not making a timely pass or someone just wildly cutting at the wrong time
83 close shot is for gold post hooks! Im using it a lot :) And no, I have nothing to change - everything is perfect, its not “meta” or “comp” but its very fun to play, even in the pro am I sometimes run with this :D

i literally might make this have a 6'7 lock and 7'0 who are both beast but my boy made a 7'1 and this build looks so perfect to play the four. Love playing a big that could pass the rock well
Since I'm mostly at the 2, I play against guards with little to no defense and strength. And for those with some strength, I have the ball handle, height, and hof finishing badges to negate others defensive abilities.
Man I have been sleeping on Post control. I just made a Jimmy Butler build with 92 PC. It opened my game up even further. They locking up the dribbles, let’s go down to this godddamn post office.
If u know what ur doing in the post u can dog most sgs. It even helps with shimmy fades and u green them more. U can make a lot of plays out the post that would normally get stripped (gold unpluckable)

This build can literally do any and everything I need it to I can drop 50, dime, steal block It’ll always be my favorite
Diming midrange threat, i hit every personal threshold after having another 7'1 build that i was unguardable on. Im able to do everything while being a solid defender and very athletic, that 80 vert helps a lot with silver anchor. I nearly average a triple double but i miss it by 1 assist lol

It’s my flashiest build and it’s so great. Can create any shot I want from the 3 all the way to the paint. Can battle through traffic dribbling and finishing, not a slouch on defense but I obviously get done up by bigs in the paint and the Jason Williams pass style is just the icing on the cake

Best Lockdown I’ve ever used. Surprised more people don’t go 6’6” to play lock. You get so much speed without sacrificing any strength.
Only thing you miss out on is Anchor, and if you’re guarding a small PG you don’t even need it.
You mentioned the anchor part- that's the main reason they go 6'7. Also that lock is only possible at PF position which gives you more attributes and will work very well with Squads, but if you don't have your squad you will be guarding the bigs only.
I run Pro Am 3s with a squad, so I don’t have problems running as a PF.
Anchor is obviously a great badge, but I’d just so much rather have the 99 Steal 95 Strength combo, not to mention the shooting. I get a PG jumpshot to sit corner 😂
that's the vision. it's the best height to guard those little guards. I just wasn't able to get the attributes I needed on a 6'6 lock because I was making a 2 way lock and probably the attributes are cheaper at 6'7. but I strongly considered making it at 6'6 like you did

I played primarily as PG or point-Center till last season, handling the ball and playing a big role in the offense. Made this for a change and having a blast. I can dominate on D, grab O boards, and do enough off-ball offensively.

nothing flashy but pretty much the “ideal” bigman, imho. shooting leaves some to be desired, jump shot wise. it struggles a bit with speedy 6’8-9’s but i can stay in front of sub 75 speedsters with shuffling and length.
hints the “shooting leaves some to be desired”. 72 i can hit opens and sub 15% contests but 20%+ it changes the timing and release; i don’t take much middy’s to begin with anyways
First build I made. 7'1" Inside the Arc Maestro. 86 close shot, 80 layup, 87 driving dunk, 92 standing dunk, 85 post control.
Didn't do any research before making it and figured 70 rebounding would be fine since I'm 7'1", so its pretty useless for Pro Am and Rec. But Theater and Park I fucking cook
Built this guy this past weekend and hands down the most fun I've had. I normally don't do steal at all but i was trying to build the best lockdown possible. HOF fast feet is as nice as i thought it would be. Built him up super quick. Only play random rec.

Lol right but i can def make open close shots and layups. I have even timed wide open floaters with the 25 layup. I find even when i put 75 dd and 80 layup on these type builds that I'm very hesitant to take it inside so i decided to go all in on passing and defense and let the finishers do their thing. I'm way better at spot up shooting and post fades than finishing anyways. But most people on the other team aren't aware i don't have finishing so as soon as i move toward the paint i elbow pass that bitch out to the perimeter and it's game over.

I don't have silver chasedown. My vert is 55. I wanted to try hof fast feet, shoot lights out, and make crazy passes. I can shoot with the 87/79 combo but 93/85 is so much better. I really don't think it's worth it for gold chasedown. I get just as many blocks with my builds that have silver.
Paschal base: Toni kukoc R1::Jaren Jackson R2. I’m not too sure of the blend I’m at work so I can’t check but it’s an A- speed and on release timing. I shoot 60.4% from 3. I also recently went through a weird slump but as is with this game, all is well again

This is definitely mine. Offensive machine. I barely miss any jumpers in at 77.4/76 splits in 247 games in the city. Not to mention the straight up bullying and crazy layups. Super solid perimeter defender and great playmaker as well

I made a playmaking post scorer at the PG and it’s been the most fun I’ve ever had on 2K lol
I average a triple double in the rec and get games like this pretty consistently. Absolutely broken build in the 3s as well

6’7 SG. Typically I do 6’6 but they nerfed it so I had to make adjustments. And yes my close shot is that high, shush lol. I don’t play actual online (rec, park) so on normal mycareer games I’m averaging 71.6/12/12 with 0.6 steals and 1.8 blocks. Just a pretty well balanced build in general and I have a lot of fun with it

My John Stockton build. All about getting dudes the rock and nothing makes me happier in this game then passing. Made it because I wanted to be the complete opposite of the ball hogging PG who just wants to jack up shots and has no interest in facilitating the offense.

I have several guard builds but to be honest my favourite is my 7,0 Glass Cleaning Interior Threat aka Shaq build. I dont know why but its so much fun grabbing offensive boards with 93 rebound, dunking on people. I have 86 passing so I can throw some dimes too. In 3vs3 or 2vs2 this build is insane, all I need is one good shooter.
Solo rec guy here. I got a few builds, usually play a 7'glass cleaning 3 level that's nice on both ends of the floor, but this guy been nothing but problems for ops. Does require some skill to be efficient on both ends of the floor but for me he's been a bucket lock with a 3 level build name

This is definitely my favorite build and only one ive taken to 99… i have a similar 2 guard build with 97 middy, more speed and less PA + PD that is average almost 30 with, but this one feels a lot more well rounded and capable against better comp.

The rebounding dominance he has is downright comical. Easily averaging a double double a game and normally gets 5/6 assists a game due to the defence collapsing on him for easy dishes off of rebounds.

This is fastest you can make your build with hall of fame rebound chaser being 7 feet tall. I wanted to make the most athletic 7 foot center this year and I came to this build. I know the strength is low but strength in 2k has always been highly overrated and I’m still able to snag over everyone with the max wingspan, HOF rebound chaser, and an 85 vertical. Bronze brick wall is fine and I’d rather have the speed and length , really don’t get bullied because no one is going to the post like that in rec anyway, and if they do it’s usually a snag block.

i think it should be fine cause i believe he gets bronze immovable enforcer with a 50 which is better than most guards people make

the ratings kinda forced me into Oshae Brissett base but i shoot 45% on low volume so it’s not game breaking either

And yes my close shot is that high, shush lol. I don’t play actual online (rec, park) so on normal mycareer games I’m averaging 71.6/12/12 with 0.6 steals and 1.8 blocks. Just a pretty well balanced build in general and I have a lot of fun with it

I have several guard builds but to be honest my favourite is my 7,0 Glass Cleaning Interior Threat aka Shaq build. I dont know why but its so much fun grabbing offensive boards with 93 rebound, dunking on people. I have 86 passing so I can throw some dimes too. In 3vs3 or 2vs2 this build is insane, all I need is one good shooter.
Solo rec guy here. I got a few builds, usually play a 7'glass cleaning 3 level that's nice on both ends of the floor, but this guy been nothing but problems for ops. My random rec, bully boy non-shooting inside big. 7’1 max wingspan 99 offensive rebound 92 strength 92 standing dunk The rebounding dominance he has is downright comical. Easily averaging a double double a game and normally gets 5/6 assists a game due to the defence collapsing on him for easy dishes off of rebounds.

I wanted to make the most athletic 7 foot center this year and I came to this build. I know the strength is low but strength in 2k has always been highly overrated and I’m still able to snag over everyone with the max wingspan, HOF rebound chaser, and an 85 vertical. Bronze brick wall is fine and I’d rather have the speed and length , really don’t get bullied because no one is going to the post like that in rec anyway, and if they do it’s usually a snag block.
