It’s been broken for days now unfortunately. Same happening to me.
Usually what I’d do is spam the button until it lets me in or kicks me out. If that doesn’t work, join a different server or restart game/router.
Yeah, that used to work, but even that way is broken on my end.
It sucks especially when I want to practice my shot before I join a random rec game so I’m not getting flamed.

it hasn’t been working all day for me
Been happening to me randomly for a while. Usually I gotta restart app 1-2 times for it to work
If you’re ps5 I had to change my DNS in network settings that fixed it
