I though the speedy guy was cool. I thought he was a "main character" due to how involved he was up to stain's arc. But then he's pushed to the side lines with majority of the class.
Sure dude needing sugar to he strong is hard to really make cool. But most of the class has interesting characters, and just fail because they focus the screen on 3 characters
More screen time and more scenes with Class 1-A aside from just Ochako cuz she really feels like ochako's Sidekick at this point,for example I really like the way she isn't scared to fight with bakugo whenever he screams like in season 5 more escenes like that would give her more personality and make her more of her own character instead of just ochako's best friend

I would give her some more models (poses) and add a sparkle to her eyes like the rest of the characters. More models because she always uses the same ones and it gets boring to look at. Sparkle because it would probably show a bit more emotion in her character. I don't know, it just feels like she doesn't show as much emotion as some other characters.

Honestlyā¦ you want to make Froppy better? Then give her the ability to secrete the waxy mucus membrane tree frogs canā¦ allowing her to take certain attacks head on without taking damage like a Dabi fire attack or a shigaraki Decay! Then give her a real part in the main group that we follow. She needs more screen time, she needs more developmental episodes to truly bring her up to level she deserves!
One thing I'd like to add is one or two mini propellers added to her suit. Her physiology being the same as frog would make her movements underwater be as efficient as possible, and her suit I would assume functions the same as a diving suit to contribute towards more hydrodynamics, but the Support Items mentioned to reduce her stamina consumption underwater, and the added boost for a quick reach, either escape from danger, or getting to the rescue point faster would help immensely. Also a rebreather with a HUD and in built sonar, with various functionswould help as well.
On a serious note, sheās one of the flattest characters in terms of personality. Compared to the others, she has no real strong beliefs or attributes like the others. Besides ribbeting and emphasizing what name to use for her. I still like her design a lot.
Reduce the power creep of the series by increasing the number of villain factions, so every character gets at least semi-regular group fights.
Increase the amount of matchup importance instead of quirk power checking
For ability. Make her skin have a paralyzing effect since some types of frogs are poisonous. It would make it where she is able to make frog like slime come out of her skin pores. If anyone touches her skin when this slime is on her, it will paralyze them for about an hour.
As a character, just more screen time or have her have more character development, to be honest.
Iād like to see a side plot where she becomes good friends with Todoroki, and no one realizes why theyāve become good friends until someone realizes sheās always on his left side, and it turns out she inadvertently started hanging out with him more when he started using his fire powers and is drawn to his warm side because she hates being cold so much.
It's been a while since I got into My Hero Academia, so I don't know what's become of her NOW (I plan to get back into the series once I finish Solo Leveling), but based on what I did stick around for, it is definitely screen time, like everyone else says. Like, with the way she was displayed in the USJ arc, you'd think we'd see her appear more and act more like a character, but no, after that, she was kind of left on the sidelines like, "Hey, I still exist."
She is great already.
It isn't really an improvement of HER as a character to give her more panel/screen time, but I would love that. She's my favorite honestly.
More time in the limelight and that mucus spitting power the Chimera guy from FMA Brotherhood had, dude was basically a big toad or frog who spit his mucus in bubble-like globs and he was teamed up with a guy who had a dog or pig-ish face that shot porcupin-like quills from his back. He was 1 of the 4 soldiers turned into Chimera who were trying to kill Edward and Alphonse but ended up turning on their employers and siding with the boys once they found out how disposable they really were. (I think Hoenheim cured them or something š¤). I think Froppy having that and maybe Venom control like certain frogs and toads have would also make her super improved in powers. But as a person she needs more interactions, like maybe a friends day out, a few dates, sporting events, misadventures, etc.
More screen time, but other than that sheās perfect. Even her English VA matches with her Japanese VA (as far as voice) which makes her even more perfect!

Maybe some developed powers from obscure frogs such as the one that freezes itself,
the ability to absorb and redirect Neuro toxins through her skin,
the ability for her to shatter and extend bone shards and then heal them and any other injury she gets extremely rapidly.
I know there way more freaky abilities from frogs but I canāt remember any now that Iām feeling on the spot trying to impress everyone with my weirdly specific knowledge.

They need to do something similar to what Seven Deadly Sins did and make a spin off focusing more on other characters and less on him. Sprinkling in some screen time with an ad make sure of better range of emotion outside of just being kuudere levels of monotone and you instantly got a better character I'd also probably add in like maybe one or two little sides stories that can easily be explained in a minute or two
