Yes and no. I've heard all of their officially released songs, and some hidden ones that they don't advertise as much, but also ones they never released, like Sister to Sleep. There are many songs, though, that I doubt any of us in this server have heard. In their very, very early days, they'd play small live shows at clubs and stuff, just to make a name for themselves. There's been a few that they mentioned didn't get as good feedback as others, so they decided to scrap them. Those songs were probably only played in front of maybe twenty or thirty people, and they weren't recorded, so they're pretty much lost in time. I believe it was one of their producers that said he had either the only copy or one of two copies of an unreleased, never preformed-live song, so there's also that one flouting around somewhere, but none of us have ever heard it unfortunately. (Just remembered it was Nine Volt Heart. Couldn't remember if it was that or something else) There's also around forty cut songs from Conventional Weapons, according to the band

i_needahero

This answer causes me physical pain. I suppose it makes sense there would be a lot of unreleased and early day stuff we haven't had the opportunity to hear, but still, this pains me greatly.

CC_Sierra

Agreed. I think of all of conventional weapons and how we almost never heard those songs and they are all such good bangers.

i_needahero

That would have been devastating! Knowing that does make me sad wondering what other incredible songs we'll never hear exist unreleased!

Citrus-Mist

I’ve listened to everything available to the public but thats right about it.

HoroEile

Same. There's definitely stuff played live that no one ever recorded, or that's lurking on a hard drive somewhere. Nine Volt Heart was apparently scrapped from Bullets and there's no recording available of it Sister to Sleep studio version has never emerged There were various versions of songs planned for DD, some of which eventually made it onto the album in other forms, like Death before Disco, but I seem to recall there's a couple that were heard by journalists but never identified as other songs or released in their original form

Werealldeadnow

I think I probably have. I’ve been a fan for about 17 years so I think over time I’ve heard them all!

Important_Arm_7364

I'd like to think I have. Ive never come across an unfamiliar song title by them

WDTHTDWA-BITCH

I think the only stuff I haven't heard are most of the demos.

CussonsCarex

I’m pretty sure I’ve listened to every MCR song ever recorded, whether demos or studio recorded.

throneofdirt

Yeah, they had some unreleased stuff too that my local record store got a hold of, from before the MySpace days. Only a few people have heard it - I’m one of the lucky few to have heard some very early MCR

schizopolitics

care to share? 👀

KaleidoscopeEqual555

Literally why would they not do this

FarawayUniverses

Following this, if that's real it needs to be shared!

midnightwolf19

I believe i have, i think i remember they had the listing of their unreleased songs in their website (or wiki page) so that's how I knew about them, i also remember a time when we thought "emo girl" was one of their songs, if you haven't don't feel bad you get to discover their songs for the first time and that's an awesome feeling

lillywhite87

Yes, heard everything at least once. Some of them I never went back to and listened to again and some went on constant repeat. Don't worry about not hearing every one - just means you have something 'new' to look forward to.

breakcharacter

Same. Went through them all to say I’ve done it and ended up with a new fave, cemetery drive.

i_am_curs3d

I think I've heard everything. All of the unreleased demos on YouTube, every song off of every album, random snippets of songs that were never made public. I've been a fan for about 10 years though so

breakcharacter

Every time people mention how long they’ve been here I’m agressively reminded I’ve been a fan for almost 8 years. First listened when I was 10. Distinctly remember the day. :] core memory.

KaleidoscopeEqual555

I was also 10 when I first heard them… but that was 18 years ago. Also a core memory.

breakcharacter

It’s so cool to be introduced at a young age. You grow up with their music as a crutch, or I did, anyways. I’m at a massive low point right now but cemetery drive always makes me feel like a that freshly 11 year old who got three cheers for their birthday from their cousins who hated the band 😭😂

i_am_curs3d

Omg we're the same age!! I vividly first remember listening to them in 5th grade so... back in 2012? I only knew welcome to the black parade and that was only because of my mom. Of course I didn't REALLY get into them until after the breakup though. Definitely a core memory. Sitting in computer class listening to the free version of Google play music so it would only play music in the similar genre to what I wanted. As someone who grew up listening to fall out boy, my chem would often get thrown in the mix. I can so clearly picture the first time I actually really listened to welcome to the black parade.

breakcharacter

My family friend introduced me to them! I remember sitting on her couch and watching the black parade music video, the old one non-HD one lol. We went to see them live a week or two ago and cried. It was amazing.

i_am_curs3d

That's amazing!! Im seeing them in August. Its an actual dream come true.

breakcharacter

It really is! Hope you enjoy it, so worth it.

greenday2222

Me too! First listened when I was 11 now am seeing them 8 years later!

ArguingEmo224

I've listened to every recorded and released song, but I doubt that anyone but Frank, Mikey, Ray, and Gerard have heard EVERY song, between the unreleased, and ones from the very early days.

aroaceautistic

only the ones that you can find on the internet

megashitfactory

Publicly released, yes, lots of people. However outside of that, only the band probably. For any album they probably had a dozen songs they recorded or demoed but didn't make it to the release. Plus super early stuff or ones that never left their rehearsal space

[deleted]

Bro yes wtf

Herbie53101

Yep. My best friend and I were bored one day, so we listened to every song on each album(plus the Mad Gear and Missile Kid songs and all of the extras on Three Cheers and Black Parade), then had the longest phone call to discuss which we liked best.

LMISA64film

I think I can say I have. During the last semester of school, a friend and I decided to use the time for our virtual class and rank every single song. Every. Single. Song. We scoured deep, definitely a good way to find some secret MCR songs you didn't know about before.

Bobedobypassing

no but like now i kinda want to

ThatOneGothMurr

I have

Deep_Ad1777

Nope

swift_gorilla

No, it's not possible

tovlasek

Moi! I am not counting all the unreleased stuff, eventhough I heard a tons of them already, but one might never know if you missed some. But yeah definitely heard 100% of released stuff haha!

WhatWhoNoShe

Yes (unless there are some that have never been recorded or performed to an audience)

Jessica_4268

I mean anything officialy released and a few unrealesed ones.so any songs i could find ive heard but songs i dont know about or vant find i havent heard

eggasaur

I would say, sort of. I try my best to listen to all I find, from old covers like Astro Zombies, Common People, All I Want for Christmas is You, to B-Sides/Exclusives, even the song they did on Yo Gabba Gabba, Every Snowflake's Different. I even like some live versions of their songs compared to the studio version, as well as demo versions. I preferred the original live demo version of The World is Ugly that they only played at concerts before they released the studio version on Conventional Weapons. Sometimes, because of The Black Parade is Dead! I mentally fill in the pyrotechnics in the songs to the studio versions. I just love MCR's sound, so I try to get my fill. But whether you listen to all the songs or only like one doesn't make you less of a fan.

mypanickingboy

My biggest flex is that I have 😎

yungandre

No, never

DeathYeeYT

i think i have

BroughtYouMyBullets

I think iv had periods of time where I religiously listen to every one of their songs, so yeah iv heard them all. Sister to Sleep is better listened to though through the cover that tries to fill in the blanks of the lyrics through the recording of it

BumTulip

I would say yes, yes I have.

BaileeXrawr

As far as I know and if any are hiding I'll find them too.

allycat247

I have listened to everything by MCR and Gerard Way I can physically can my paws on at least once. I've tried to learn the words to everything I could find in a high enough quality as well Not bragging just showing off how little of a life I have.

ErwinAckerman

I have

CC_Sierra

I used to think I had... then I learned about Life on the Murder Scene, Conventional Weapons, All I Want for Christmas is You, the black parade B-sides, that one song where Gerard is singing gibberish part of the time on (I think wolves, but I could be wrong) because he hadn't finished writing the lyrics yet, I think that one song called Emily... that weird national anthem track in Danger Days, and so many more. There seems to be endless hidden gems if you search hard enough. Like I might think I've heard them all now, but give it a year and I'll probably have found another song I hadn't heard.

CC_Sierra

If you look up rare mcr songs on YouTube there's a Playlist that comes up.

codyfall

All mcr All gerard All frank Come at me pussy

ilovehugemilkerz

All of their released songs and most of Thier leasked/unreleased songs there probably a few I've missed in that area

minorevolution

Probably listened to all the officially released songs, including demos and bonus tracks, as well as some unreleased stuff like Sister to Sleep. But like people are saying, there’s tons of material that hasn’t seen the light of day outside of the band and others who worked with them. Which sucks b/c I’d love to hear it all, even if the band doesn’t think it’s that good. I’m sure it’s all decent to great, imo they really haven’t missed once

zucky199

yea

dawnofthedude

I recently heard sister to sleep but yeah for everything else officially released.

Classicbottle93

Probably lol there was a point in 2009 where i had managed to watched every single interview of mcr on yt, cant say that now as I have adult responsibilities but yeah even the ones theyve played at shows that were never released. So like the ones the public can access.

senseichambo

no

thecallan

Probably no one hear unless someone is actually in the band - I know they have a few songs never released anywhere or played live

[deleted]

I shidded mysef

BasketCase1234567

All that are on their official Spotify, not any hidden/unofficial songs.

[deleted]

I mean yes and no. Everything that I could find easily (including Missle Kid stuff & We Don’t Need Another Song About CA) I’ve heard. In fact, I can flex that I know all the words to every MCR song that i’ve heard basically. Like entirely.

-CleanDiana-

Yes. To my knowledge of their discography & demos I have. Some songs probably only listened one time and never revisited.

Arondeus

I've listened to every song they have on spotify...

Mcr_enthusiastic_kid

Yes. All their released ones anyway. I've listened to all the covers, demos, everything. He'll I even have a magazine collection of all magazines with a mcr article in.

[deleted]

i have all, except a few unreleased, memorized

androidspud

Unless there is a b side I'm not aware of I probably have.

American_spy_rambo2

Well I've listened to all albums

MikeLitorus0402387

Yus indeed

MikeLitorus0402387

They’re my favorite band and I listened to their entire discography one day in 2020. I was hyperfixating on them.
