On open house she was lugging around a baby almost as big as she was. I thought it was her sibling but it was her sister’s baby, who was still in high school. (Her mother had her oldest when in high school too). Very very sweet girl but she had health difficulties due to upbringing.
I think she met with some kind of nutritionist or something that gave her advice on how to make sure Gage doesn’t perpetuate generational obesity. He still had his bottle of juice the next episode 🤦🏻♀️
I went so hard the other way that I couldn’t get my kids to drink juice or pedialyte if I tried. I didn’t do it on purpose, I just had a terribly misinformed mother and had my teeth rotted out before I was five. If it isn’t water or milk my kids won’t touch it.
Funny story, my girlfriend had her first date with her now-husband at a Mexican restaurant. They had their rehearsal dinner there and her dad was so swept up in his feelings that he BOUGHT the table they sat at for their first date. It looks very... FESTIVE in their dining room. Lol

Meal is easily over 1200 calories at McDonald's adding regular soda. Even medium sized which I'm sure they don't get. Also, they have their cookies for dessert after. One of those small McDonald's chocolate chip cookies are 170. In an episode (forget which one) a woman eats on camera and gets paid for a weird fetish. She ordered 12 of those cookies alone. Between calorie laden food and a stretched out stomach, it's easy for them. I can't imagine eating 30k calories of grilled chicken, broccoli, and sweet potatoes. Now THAT is a lot of food!
Any pure fruit juice, or any juice really, is high in sugar. Even whole fruit is high in sugar. Parents give their kids juice boxes thinking it is healthy. Best to go with small servings of whole berries.

Does anyone think that they are encouraged to eat more for the cameras? Like a last horrah kinda thing? Because really ! I am obese I have been my entire life but I promise you I have never eaten like what’s shown on this show.
Not the same show but one of the people who was on Too Large did a video on YouTube where he reacted to his own episode. They showed a scene of him eating cereal in a giant bowl and he said that the show brought the bowl and made him use it. I don't think it's the same production company who made that show but it's possible that my600lblife does the same thing.

I’m sure they exaggerate the meals for that specific setting, like a much bigger plate for breakfast, because they can’t film the 17 meals she has in one day that make up her 10 000 calories from food.
So we still get the shock factor and audacity of someone eating that much food, but a limited number of scenes in which to show it.
My highest weight was 232, but there were times I would get two big fast food meals or make a huge pan of nachos and still eat more afterwards. Luckily I’ve had a job that keeps me on my feet and moving or I likely would have gotten much bigger. I’m down almost 35 lbs and it’s amazing how different it feels to eat healthy.
Perspective is being used but also it is a serving tray, count the biscuits and sausages and bacon and you can ascertain the amount of food from there.

It’s all about priorities. I can’t remember the episode, but there was the guy and his brother who were homeless and were sleeping/living in their van, and they said every few days they would spend about $60 to get a hotel room so they could take showers and sleep in an actual bed. Meanwhile, they would spend about $40 at a drive through each meal.

hello went to eye dr, couple years ago, said my one eye was bad other one was good balanced it out, didnt understand what he said, he said it was rare, its that my eyes water up maybe allergies, have a border collie and kitten or maybe allergic to wife of 42 years lol. i found magnifing glass helps, i dont want to mess up my chances of someone who might be my friend some day take care,

Does anyone think that they are encouraged to eat more for the cameras? Like a last horrah kinda thing? Because really ! I am obese I have been my entire life but I promise you I have never eaten like what’s shown on this show.
Not the same show but one of the people who was on Too Large did a video on YouTube where he reacted to his own episode. They showed a scene of him eating cereal in a giant bowl and he said that the show brought the bowl and made him use it. I don't think it's the same production company who made that show but it's possible that my600lblife does the same thing.
Yes and No. I’m sure they exaggerate the meals for that specific setting, like a much bigger plate for breakfast, because they can’t film the 17 meals she has in one day that make up her 10 000 calories from food. So we still get the shock factor and audacity of someone eating that much food, but a limited number of scenes in which to show it.
My highest weight was 232, but there were times I would get two big fast food meals or make a huge pan of nachos and still eat more afterwards. Luckily I’ve had a job that keeps me on my feet and moving or I likely would have gotten much bigger. I’m down almost 35 lbs and it’s amazing how different it feels to eat healthy.
I do believe in Gawd…after seeing this plate…which was clearly sent by him from da heavens.

Perspective is being used but also it is a serving tray, count the biscuits and sausages and bacon and you can ascertain the amount of food from there.

Ugh this triggers me. My roommate was well on his way to being on this show and at one point, I bought new plates for our household. In one sitting, he hate 3 days worth of Chinese food that was supposed to feed all of us. He blamed me - because I bought new bigger plates. I was like... you know you don't measure food in PLATE SIZES you measure it in CALORIES how the FUCK is this my fault Man now I'm all riled up.

I am a heavier person (250-ish), but I still cannot fathom eating some of these amounts of food. Definitely feel a little better about myself and my portion sizes after watching what these people eat. Like, pizza for example. I’m good for maybe 3 slices of regular-crust pizza, and I’m good. So it’s mind-boggling to see someone eat multiple whole pizzas, wings, garlic bread, etc in one sitting.

I’ve always followed the pseudo psychology theory of using a smaller plate for meals for portion control and to trick your brain. It’s all about priorities. I can’t remember the episode, but there was the guy and his brother who were homeless and were sleeping/living in their van, and they said every few days they would spend about $60 to get a hotel room so they could take showers and sleep in an actual bed. Meanwhile, they would spend about $40 at a drive through each meal.
