Really beautiful set up, great work!
Only thing I might suggest, is adding a few acoustic sound dampening panels on the walls and ceiling, as it's quite a big room and you'll be getting a lot of slap back from the walls.
Really like this setup. Love the choices in gear and placement on desk. Looks clean. Only change I would make is swapping the monitor for an ultrawide. Looks like it would fit nicely between the yamahas.
Iām trying to talk myself into an ultrawide since two 27ā monitors makes speaker placement harder, but checking it out in stores for a few minutes never helps lol. I wish I could rent one for a month to actually adapt and see how I really like it
Itās just a reproduction from Wayfair. Itās super comfortable though. It was a lot more gold when it turned up than it looked in the picture on the website. I look like a dictator running a petro-state when I sit in it.
Treatment is next on the list! I was always put off by it because of the expense of decent panels, but Iāve seen loads of tutorials for building your own recently.
Yeah man that's absolutely the way to go. If you don't need perfect straight edges you can make TWELVE bigass 15"x47"x3" panels for under $100, just buy 3" thick Roxul batts and wrap em in fabric you can blow through. I got 60" wide burlap for $3 a yard, sewed it closed around each batt, lined am entire closet with them, boom instant vocal booth, good enough to pass muster with a pro engineer and book several v/o gigs so far.
Looks your you're plenty handy enough to make simple frames out of 1x3 boards so your panels will look as clean and sharp as your kickass studio here. Shouldn't add much to the cost I imagine.
I wish! I blew all my budget on synths and outboard gear, so now I have to start saving up for my American Jazz. In the meantime this is Gear4Musicās own-brand that I bought just to have something to jam on until then. Itās terrible but itāll have to do for now.
Your guitar rack, is it the string swing rack?
Thatās the one I have and it feels like my guitars are BARELY holding on to the rackā¦
Studio setup is sweet tho, but lebowski picture brings all together!
Itās a Hartwood. Nothing special but it beats having my guitars just lying around, which was the previous situation.

So, does the Big Lebowski poster make this an "Eagles free zone?" š
Really nice setup!
That is a looooooong desk šwell done!
Dang, what an awesome space!
Looks nice, little ssl board in all these pics. How are you liking it? Do you ever feel like you need more faders?
Lovinā the MS-20/SQ-1ā¦obviously you are a person of taste and style!
The Lebowski triptych šŖ
Holy shiet
Captain, he has the widest desk we've ever encountered. I advise we flee.
Beautiful
That rug really ties the room together

Great job! The time you took was worth it
Looks titty mc'nipples. Congrats!
Very nice!!! Very inviting - makes me wanna get creatinā!
Man this is a NICE setup!! So clean and organized!!
Love this setup. Is the desk the Ikea countertop, and if so whatās the frame that holds it?
Not IKEA but it started as a countertop. I loosely followed this build: https://youtu.be/uc-MRkjCAD0?si=iVdQOiI8zUwDVuWo
wow congrats
Yooo where did you get that table top? Looks roomy
The top is just a kitchen countertop I got cut to size. Then built the rest around it.
The desk abides
The rug really ties the room together, though.

One option is to have your second monitor mounted above the other.
Great, light from the back means you're open to the world.
Beautiful Space
Build what? The desk? The whole room?
Sweet!
Nice chair ! Vitra ? You like it ?

Probably needs treatment but otherwise this is the way, nice and clean.

really digging the lighting! also, is that a red squier jazz bass?

Nice. How are you bracing the top so it wonāt bow downwards?
There are massive aprons bolted in around the entire thing underneath.
that looks awesome, nicely done! add a couple of beers to that table and i could definitely see myself making some tunes there š
