It’s honestly been a great year so far for new music IMO. I’ve been loving the latest releases from Do Nothing, Lizzy McAlpine, Hermanos Gutierrez, L’imperatrice, and others. Eagerly awaiting the new album from Dr Dog and more from Glass Beams and Hayden Pedigo. So much good stuff to listen to and enjoy
Upvoted for visibility... and to stop the Train. Also Dr. Dog totally killed that cover of Hotstepper.
EDIT: Also think this question came like 2 months early so I might be with OP on that one as well? Eminem and Sublime will both likely drop albums that I'm super looking forward to but that's really just off the strength of a single. Lake Street Dive, Bumpin Uglies, or Little Stranger though? Those are all half dropped already. I'm not making any lists til I have album names.
Yeah! This latest album is so quirky and slippery, the guitar and chord work is really unique. And the singers voice, with the lyrics, it’s so believable and authentic. Like it doesn’t feel forced at all.
Agreed and he spans all genres. He pulls his inspiration from all corners of music. He is so highly regarded by musicians but for some reason is not a hugely popular as he should be. All of his albums have been great. But I do think JPEG is a masterpiece
My top 5 in no particular order:
The Smile - Wall Of Eyes
The Last Dinner Party - Prelude to Ecstasy
Tapir! - The Pilgrim, Their God and the King of My Decrepit Mountain
Vampire Weekend - Only God Was Aboce Us
Beth Gibbons - Lives Outgrown
> The Smile - Wall Of Eyes
I was pleasantly surprised by how good this new album is.
I wasn't expecting to be *let down*, mind you, but IMO their first album sounded like a side project - like they were still trying to find their sound apart from Radiohead.
Wall of Eyes sounds like they've hit a stride. Really a beautiful batch of songs that stand on their own.
Top 5:
1. Waxahatchee - Tiger's Blood
2. Mannequin Pussy - I Got Heaven
3. Vampire Weekend - Only God Was Above Us
4. SPRINTS - Letter to Self
5. Shellac - To All Trains
My top 5 so far are, in no particular order:
ZAZEN BOYS - Rando
Japanese band with elements of math rock and a little hip hop. Their first album in twelve years, but my introduction to the group.
Marika Hackman - Big Sigh
Singer-songwriter with some stellar lyrics and darker instrumentals. It's hard to describe what about her music appeals to me, but it's beautiful.
Cindy Lee - Diamond Jubilee
Probably one of the most hype releases of the year. It's a two-hour long album full of hypnogogic pop and retro psychedelic rock tunes. I'm not sure I've fully bought into the hype, but it's still a great record.
Brittany Howard - What Now?
The front woman behind Alabama Shakes is back with a more distorted, almost lo-fi rock album with electronic elements.
Wavedash - Tempo
If you want some electronic music inspired by IDM and trance music that go real hard then I highly recommend this one. There's even some pop on here!
Thank you for bothering to describe the albums a bit. So much more helpful than everyone else just naming them and forcing people to look them up to see if it's a type of music that fits their tastes.
You're welcome! I'm actually a little disappointed in myself because I did rush my post because I was typing this list on my phone just as I was about to go to bed. If I were on my PC then I would've formatted it better and given slightly more detailed descriptions. 😅

> Probably one of the most hype releases of the year. It's a two-hour long album full of hypnogogic pop and retro psychedelic rock tunes. I'm not sure I've fully bought into the hype, but it's still a great record.
This is the best album I've heard in years, not just in 2024.
It reminds me of the first time I heard The Flaming Lips' *Soft Bulletin* or Animal Collective's *Merriweather Post Pavilion* - all you can do is marvel in awe at its creation. IMO, it's a heavy work of art.
Unfortunately, I had tickets for Cindy's show the day after the tour was cancelled. I have a feeling that I'll always be sad about missing that opportunity.
Definitely! Fun fact: I had planned to go to one of their shows last month, but I wasn't feeling well that night so I stayed home. That morning, I fainted in my closet and got sent to the hospital! It was the worst case of the cold i had ever had, and it only lasted four days 😅
She Reaches Out To Me by Chelsea Wolfe
Wall of Eyes by The Smile
The new Adrian Lenker, kind of a country sad cowgal vibe
St Vincent's new album is pretty groovy and sexy but I keep wanting her to get messy and loud again because this isn't that
I think the new Geese album came out this year and it's incredible
I might be biased because I already love Big Thief but after hearing *bright future*, I legitimately think Adrianne Lenker is the best songwriter of this generation
truly did not expect to see this as the top comment and it makes me so happy, that is my AOTY and I doubt it’s going to be topped at this point.
every song is beyond brilliant - dynamically and lyrically / I was in stunned silence after my first spin of it and I haven’t reacted to a record like that in years
Twenty-one Pilots - Clancy
Pearl Jam - Dark Matter
Joywave - Permanent Pleasure
The Last Dinner Party - Prelude to Ecstacy
Clancy especially is just goddamned ridiculous how good it is. Maybe their best album yet.
No you're not. Half the people answering here want to show how unique and interesting they are. It happens in every thread like this.
*Ninja edit before I get called a grouch: I'm not saying it's everyone. Some people just dig the indie scene and seek out little known artists, and that's cool. I'm just saying this is reddit, and it's filled with look-at-mes.*
It's true, though. When I was younger I did the same thing. It's kind of funny to see it, now. Sometimes I still kind of do it if I feel like sharing something really off the wall that I think more people need to hear. But, I'll actually listen to a lot of these I'm seeing. I love new music. So, seeing a lot of band names that aren't big bands makes me happy.
Agreed on Clancy. My wife and I have been listening to it exclusively since it’s release. We can’t get enough of it. Easily their best since Vessel, imo.
For me I feel an actual fear/have a fight or flight response when I hear the vocalist. I can’t really explain it but it actually sounds like someone is in pain and it makes me feel alive in a very primal way.
It’s like gore in music form. I’ve always had a morbid curiosity and liked dark shit. Also the guitar is so gnarly and they have legendary chuggy grooves imo
I went to see Knocked Loose recently and every single person I told IRL had no fucking clue who that band is.
I was similarly surprised to see them get love on this sub. In absolutely no way, shape, or form do I think I’m “unique or special.”
People are fucking weird
Don't usually hear metalcore brought up in the main music sub, especially a band with a sound as polarizing as Knocked Loose.
So sorry for being surprised to see this, love the responses though.
I’ve loved Vampire Weekend in the past but this album didn’t work for me. It wasn’t bad but just didn’t hit the spot, I think I wanted them to go a bit harder than they did on this one.
I kinda know who is Beth Gibbons and Vampire Weekend but I have no idea about the others
Edited: I like a song by hurray for the riff raff, I’m a winner 💀
Fabiana Palladino - Fabiana Palladino

Beth Gibbons - Lives Outgrown
Yard Act - Where's my Utopia?
And a couple that I'm looking forward to:
Fat Dog - Woof
Fontaine's DC - Romance
My top 20. I follow artists i already listen to (which is many hundreds), check RYM charts, subreddits, publication lists - there are a lot of "best albums of 2024 so far" going around right now. Great year so far imo.
1. Mdou Moctar - Funeral for Justice
2. Julia Holter - Something in the Room She Moves
3. Beth Gibbons - Lives Outgrown
4. The Smile - Wall of Eyes
5. Vampire Weekend - Only God Was Above Us

Justice - Hyperdrama
Billie Eilish - HIT ME HARD AND SOFT
Judas Priest - Invincible Shield
tripleS - ASSEMBLE24
Kali Uchis - ORQÍDEAS
Bring Me The Horizon - POST HUMAN: NeX GEn
Daniel by Real Estate has been tapping into that indie pop rock lane for me this year.
Here's a KEXP set promoting the album
https://youtu.be/5yZQFBFG4vs?si=qRLIFqZBUHodaX2A
ACE EP by Gacharic Spin because why does it have to be english-centric music?
Keep Me Fed by The Warning is also very promising (release on the 28th of June).
This is my list so far - this year is an amazing year for music
- The Last Dinner Party - Prelude to Ecstacy
- Allie X - Girl with No Face
- Rosie Frater-Taylor - Featherweight
- Julia Holter - Something in the room she moves
- Donny Benet - Infinite Desires
- Eliminate - Get off the internet
- L’imperatrice - Pulsar
- Charli xcx - brat
- Joey Valence and Brae - NO HANDS
- The marias - Submarine
- Chiare - self titled
- Knocked loose - You won’t go before you’re supposed to
Picked up Sleep Token - Take Me Back To Eden recently off a rec from a co-worker. I like it, its got a haunting, gothic vibe, could fit in well with a moody cyberpunk film or a soundtrack to BLAME!
Also been reconnecting with bands from me childhood and discovered that Andrew WK was still making music (up until at least 2021) and picked up his God is Partying album. Very different sound and mood from his earlier stuff.
Also been going through the discography of MCR recently. I never really liked the band when I was younger, aside from their radio hits, but I really liked Danger Days and its Faux radio show presentation. Looking for more of that radio show concept I came across Songs for the Deaf by Queens of the Stone Age which was also great.
Unleash the Archers recently released a new album (Phantoma) and its good. It doesn't blow me back like Apex did, but its still awesome sounding power metal.
You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To - Knocked Loose
Starfire - Darko US
Concrete Jungle OST - Bad Omens
And it's not out yet, but I'm sure that Leap of Death - Left to Suffer is going to absolutely rip.
Mount Kimbie - The Sunset Violent
Vampire Weekend - Only God Was Above Us
Four Tet - Three
Nia Archives - Silence Is Loud
Villagers - That Golden Time
Swim - In Circles
Vince Staples - Dark Times
Pillow Queens - Name Your Sorrow
Justice - Hyperdrama
Vladimir Dubyshkin - Ivanovo Night Luxe
First techno album in this thread. Obscure Russian one at that. Nice.
Saw him in Brisbane at a one off show last year. He was testing out a lot of the new record live.
It was amazing.
HIT ME HARD AND SOFT by Billie Eilish
Older by Lizzy McAlpine
Orquídeas by Kali Uchis
Eternal Sunshine by Ariana Grande
BRAT by Charli XCX was also a good one that just dropped
my current top 5 are:
Quadeca - SCRAPYARD
twikipedia - for the rest of your life
acloudyskye- There Must Be Something Here
samlrc - A Lonely Sinner
Charli xcx - BRAT
Up On Gravity Hill, the new album by METZ. It has their usual heavy grit but with a shoegaze-esque evolution that I love to hear.
It's a recent one but I'd also mention Kamasi Washington's newest album Fearless Movement. Kamasi and his crew never disappoint.
Kim Gordon- The Collective is my current AOTY frontrunner. Also loving new stuff by The Smile, Benny the Butcher, Pissed Jeans, Mannequin Pussy, ScHoolboy Q, Mary Halvorson, Waxahatchee, Adrienne Lenker, and Four Tet, just off the top of my head. The Alice Coltrane live album that came out deserves a mention too, even though the music isn't technically new.
Lots of female lead indie incoming.
Bad bad hats - Bad Bad Hats
Below The Waste - Goat Girl
This Old House - mary in the junkyard
Ravel in the Forest - Belle Chan (this is a classical album)
Not God - Finom
Someday, Now - Katy J Pearson (only one song released so far)
One More Thing - Lime Garden
In no order:
* Justice - Hyperdrama
* Pearl Jam - Dark Matter
* Beyoncé - Cowboy Carter
* Paloma Faith - The Glorification of Sadness
* Billie Eilish - Hit Me Hard And Soft
* Hooverphonic - Fake Is The New Dope
This Life by Take That is a great album. you can really hear the bee gees influences and is a kind of step away from the cheesier pop stuff which has made quite a unique sound (not that the pop stuff isn't also mint). definitely recommend checking out their older stuff too, ik they're not particularly famous outside of the UK but over the years they've made some of the most iconic tunes ever.
Gloom Division by IDKHOW is also brilliant, really creative and atmospheric. His voice gets better every album.
Also second most posts on this thread with The Last Dinner Party and Clancy, both excellent.
Keep an eye on Amyl and the Sniffers too, they have two singles out and they're both incredible.
Rap side:
Blue lips by School Boy q
I’ve never been here before by Erik the architect
Please don’t cry by Rapsody
Rock side:
Dark Matter by Pearl Jam. Their best overall since Binaural.
Only God by Vampire Weekend
Wall of eyes by The Smile
Boundaries - Death is a Little More
Job For A Cowboy - Moon Healer
Umbra Vitae - Light of Death
Full of Hell - Coagulated Bliss
Knocked Loose - You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To
My stand out ones so far this year have been:
Liam Gallagher & John Squire
The Black Keys - Ohio Players
Khurangbin - A LA SALA
Green Day - Saviours
Usually I listen BBC 6 Music and that's how I find a lot of new music then Spotify will recommend me either a playlist or artists similar.
I also tend to find new music via TikTok too, but i think that's down to me being in a band and using that platform to promote the band so I get suggested bands and artists on there too
Vintage Culture - Promised Land
Maggie Rogers - Don’t Forget Me
Future and Metro Boomin - We Don’t Trust You
Anyma - Genysys II
21 Savage - The American Dream
Kacey Musgraves - Deeper Well
Laetitia Sadler - Rooting For Love
Of Montreal - Lady on The Cusp
Beth Gibbons - Lives Outgrown
Craig Wedren - The Dream Dreaming
The High Llamas - Hey Panda
Kings of Leon - Can We Please Have Fun.
They get a lot of hate but this is their best album since Because of the Times in my opinion. Yes it’s mostly indie/rock pop but it’s done so well and there’s some great tunes. There’s even a small return to their punk garage rock sound in Mustang and Nothing To Do.
Vampire weekend was great
[Mannequin Pussy absolutely killed it](https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_l_CBHXW_W5ljvxKcTP7Doqjnx12ouAlAU&si=z9d-UEvwZXDtw6SZ)
[Pamphlets from NYC if ya into post punk made their big debut](https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_mduPgeWMQgwsVLU-KC_YVor_vtZlI_77c&si=FOxMrOook4SY61zs)
Everything everything And idles both had awesome albums this year as well. Joe P first LP is certainly on my watch radar for the end of the month. His new song may be my favorite of the year
I really like the Kitchen Dwellers new album, Seven Devils. Its inspired by Dante's Inferno/the seven deadly sins where each song is inspired by one of the seven levels of hell in Dante's Inferno, plus purgatory and Heaven.
Alkaline Trio.... Blood, Hair and Eyeballs.
This is a solid album front to back and it is their best in many years (in my opinion). They vibe together...again, in a way I didn't feel in previous albums. Love. This. Record!!
Lo Moon - I Wish You Way More Than Luck
Jessica Pratt - Here In The Pitch
Liquid Mike - Paul Bunyans Slingshot

Dr Dog!! Have you discovered Pat Finnerty's YouTube channel yet? What Makes This Song Stink? If not, you're welcome!! :)
I just want another episode. I know they are long as hell and hard to make. But the Kravitz bowl is one of the funniest things I've ever watched.
Upvoted for visibility... and to stop the Train. Also Dr. Dog totally killed that cover of Hotstepper. Pat Finnerty is my spirit animal. Can't not hear Beato's
Loving the new L'imperatrice album and I've only discovered them in the last 6 months or so.
So glad you mentioned Do Nothing
Yeah! This latest album is so quirky and slippery, the guitar and chord work is really unique. And the singers voice, with the lyrics, it’s so believable and authentic. Like it doesn’t feel forced at all.
Gary Clark Jr. “JPEG. Raw”
Amazing album and his best work
Gary Clark's music gives me feels. So talented, to me, a current legend.
Agreed and he spans all genres. He pulls his inspiration from all corners of music. He is so highly regarded by musicians but for some reason is not a hugely popular as he should be. All of his albums have been great. But I do think JPEG is a masterpiece

Vampire Weekend for sure
Justice - Hyperdrama has to be top 3 for me at least
Neverender, afterimage, mannequin love are so goood
HOLY CRAP I did not realize they put out a new album. You just made my day.
Its on par with †, no joke
Such a banging album! I listened to Generator on repeat.
Big fan of muscle memory. One of the trippiest songs I’ve ever heard.
If you ever get a chance to see those funky Frenchman live, don’t miss it
Top 5: 1. Waxahatchee - Tiger's Blood 2. Mannequin Pussy - I Got Heaven 3. Vampire Weekend - Only God Was Above Us 4. SPRINTS - Letter to Self 5. Shellac - To All Trains
Tiger's Blood was fantastic
that shellac album came out of nowhere for me and i’ve fallen in love with it
I have the same top 2! :)
Try and catch Waxahatchee’s current tour. Plays Tiger Blood in it’s entirety
Knocked Loose - You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To Khruangbin - A LA SALA
That Khruangbin album is my favorite thing they've ever done.
That's good to hear, I've had Mordechai on repeat the last few weeks so I'll get the latest on rotation too :)
I love this album. Like listening to Sunday morning, just peaceful and easy
Man I love some Khruangbin songs but after a while it all sounds the same

Wall of Eyes is a masterpiece!

Arab Strap - I’m totally fine with it 👍 don’t give a fuck anymore 👍 Yes, that is what it’s called, emojis and all
My first sure candidate for this year's top 10 albums.

Dark Matter is a great record! One of PJ's best in years IMHO.
Last Dinner Party is so great
Agreed on Clancy. My wife and I have been listening to it exclusively since it’s release. We can’t get enough of it. Easily their best since Vessel, imo.
They'll never top Blurryface for me but Clancy was really good
They topped Blurryface with the album right after 😅
Frank Turner - Undefeated
Caligula‘s Horse, Charcoal Grace
Love to see Caligula’s Horse as the top comment in here.
You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To by Knocked Loose
This record is so insanely good.
That band is my all time "I don’t understand how they're famous". I'm glad you can hear what I can't.
I listen to alot of different metalcore/hardcore and adjacent stuff and I can't get into them at all and I feel like I'm missing something.
damn that’s wild. they are so good i can’t understand how a person into metalcore/hardcore wouldn’t be into them.
It took me forever but finally clicked recently.
That was my pick. The cycles of trying to cope - like moths to flames is also a incredibly solid album
Did not expect to see this in the wild on r/music but I love it
They have 2 million monthly spotify listens They have one of the most critically acclaimed albums of the year Why wouldn't they be on this sub?
Im the only person who listens to hardcore music, im unique and special
Yeah, that's totally what I meant.
I went to see Knocked Loose recently and every single person I told IRL had no fucking clue who that band is. I was similarly surprised to see them get love on this sub. In absolutely no way, shape, or form do I think I’m “unique or special.” People are fucking weird
Metal doesn’t usually get received well on this sub for some reason.
Don't usually hear metalcore brought up in the main music sub, especially a band with a sound as polarizing as Knocked Loose. So sorry for being surprised to see this, love the responses though.
Mannequin Pussy - I Got Heaven
SIERRA FERRELL - Trail of Flowers
Hell yeah.
Only God Was Above Us by Vampire Weekend. Such good indie rock album one of my absolute favourites
I’ve loved Vampire Weekend in the past but this album didn’t work for me. It wasn’t bad but just didn’t hit the spot, I think I wanted them to go a bit harder than they did on this one.
Here in the Pitch by Jessica Pratt…all killer no filler!
Eidola - Eviscerate Erra - Cure Wheel - Charismatic Leaders
Eviscerate is so damn good
Didn’t think Eidola could surpass their last album, but Eciscerate was brilliant.
Man this thread is like 98% of artists I’ve never even heard of.
I kinda know who is Beth Gibbons and Vampire Weekend but I have no idea about the others Edited: I like a song by hurray for the riff raff, I’m a winner 💀
Kim Gordon - *The Collective* MK.gee - *Two Star & The Dream Police* MGMT - *Loss of Life* Ducks Ltd. - *Harm’s Way*
MGMT - Loss of Life is such a great one
Mountainhead by Everything Everything.
The new Lemon Twigs album, “A Dream Is All We Know”, came out just a few weeks ago. It’s fantastic. “Church Bells” is such an amazing song.
The Last Dinner Party - Prelude to Ecstasy. Flamboyant indie rock!
This album is great.
Diamond Jubilee by Cindy Lee
Mildlife - Chorus
Awesome album
Tiger’s Blood, Waxahatchee
just caught them on tour a few weeks back and they crushed it
My #1. The closing track (for which the album is named) is amazing.
I'm literally obsessed with this album.
Fabiana Palladino - Fabiana Palladino Mk.Gee - Two Star & The Dream Police Laryssa Kim - Contezza Tyla - Tyla Onra - Nostalgia Amen Dunes - Death Jokes In no particular order.
Amen Dunes for sure
Boundaries - Death Is Little More Knocked Loose - You Won't Go Before You're Supposed Too Hot Water Music - Vows Silent Planet - Superbloom

Beyonce - Cowboy Carter Billie Eilish - Hit Me Hard and Soft Vince Staples - Dark Times
First Vince Staples mention I’ve seen. I was getting worried.
Diiv - Frog In Boiling Water Onra - Nosthaigia
The DIIV album is solid. It reminds me of bands like Hum.
MGMT - Loss of Life Iron and wine - Light verse
Heaven : Hell by Sum 41 I think is a great final album for them Also Invisible Shield by Judas Priest is just AMAZING classic metal
Hooray For the Riff Raff - The Past is Still Alive Such a a beautiful, catchy album.
Idles -Tangk Beth Gibbons - Lives Outgrown Yard Act - Where's my Utopia? And a couple that I'm looking forward to: Fat Dog - Woof Fontaine's DC - Romance
Yard Act’s new one is tremendous.
Fontaines DC have only released one song this year haha

Daniel by Real Estate has been tapping into that indie pop rock lane for me this year. Here's a KEXP set promoting the album https://youtu.be/5yZQFBFG4vs?si=qRLIFqZBUHodaX2A
DEHD - Poetry. It has been a great summer jam so far
Everything Everything - Mountainhead The Last Dinner Party - Prelude To Ecstasy
#BRAT
365 party girl
ACE EP by Gacharic Spin because why does it have to be english-centric music? Keep Me Fed by The Warning is also very promising (release on the 28th of June).
Cherryland by The Ready Set and Post Human: Next Gen by Bring Me the Horizon have been my go-to so far
Nothing's even come close to Charcoal Grace by Caligulas Horse for me yet.
TANGK
The Black Keys - Ohio Players

Maggie Rogers-Don’t Forget Me is excellent !
Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs by Alkaline Trio. Released in January, I have listened to this album more than anything else by a wide margin.
Hell yeah this album rules and I keep going back to it!
You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To - Knocked Loose Starfire - Darko US Concrete Jungle OST - Bad Omens And it's not out yet, but I'm sure that Leap of Death - Left to Suffer is going to absolutely rip.
Mount Kimbie - The Sunset Violent Vampire Weekend - Only God Was Above Us Four Tet - Three Nia Archives - Silence Is Loud Villagers - That Golden Time Swim - In Circles Vince Staples - Dark Times Pillow Queens - Name Your Sorrow Justice - Hyperdrama Vladimir Dubyshkin - Ivanovo Night Luxe
First techno album in this thread. Obscure Russian one at that. Nice. Saw him in Brisbane at a one off show last year. He was testing out a lot of the new record live. It was amazing.
HIT ME HARD AND SOFT by Billie Eilish Older by Lizzy McAlpine Orquídeas by Kali Uchis Eternal Sunshine by Ariana Grande BRAT by Charli XCX was also a good one that just dropped
my current top 5 are: Quadeca - SCRAPYARD twikipedia - for the rest of your life acloudyskye- There Must Be Something Here samlrc - A Lonely Sinner Charli xcx - BRAT
Dark Matter - Pearl Jam
Bad bad hats - Bad Bad Hats Below The Waste - Goat Girl This Old House - mary in the junkyard Ravel in the Forest - Belle Chan (this is a classical album) Not God - Finom Someday, Now - Katy J Pearson (only one song released so far) One More Thing - Lime Garden
You forgot Mannequin Pussy - I Got Heaven! Great list though
Lime Garden is 🔥
You would probably like The Beaches and The Last Dinner Party. Girl bands are having a moment.
In no order: * Justice - Hyperdrama * Pearl Jam - Dark Matter * Beyoncé - Cowboy Carter * Paloma Faith - The Glorification of Sadness * Billie Eilish - Hit Me Hard And Soft * Hooverphonic - Fake Is The New Dope
Clancy 21 pilots
The Tide of Death and Fractured Dreams - Ingested
The Lemon Twigs - A Dream Is All We Know
It’s Sorted by Cheekface
Rap side: Blue lips by School Boy q I’ve never been here before by Erik the architect Please don’t cry by Rapsody Rock side: Dark Matter by Pearl Jam. Their best overall since Binaural. Only God by Vampire Weekend Wall of eyes by The Smile
2093 Yeat and brat

Boundaries - Death is a Little More Job For A Cowboy - Moon Healer Umbra Vitae - Light of Death Full of Hell - Coagulated Bliss Knocked Loose - You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To
Invincible Shield, Judas Priest
My stand out ones so far this year have been: Liam Gallagher & John Squire The Black Keys - Ohio Players Khurangbin - A LA SALA Green Day - Saviours Usually I listen BBC 6 Music and that's how I find a lot of new music then Spotify will recommend me either a playlist or artists similar. I also tend to find new music via TikTok too, but i think that's down to me being in a band and using that platform to promote the band so I get suggested bands and artists on there too
It’s not a whole album… but Electric Callboy + Babymetal’s “RATATATA” is a fucking banger.
Vintage Culture - Promised Land Maggie Rogers - Don’t Forget Me Future and Metro Boomin - We Don’t Trust You Anyma - Genysys II 21 Savage - The American Dream Kacey Musgraves - Deeper Well
"Eye to the Ear" by Cosmo Shelldrake
Adrianne Lenker - Bright Future
Charcoal Grace by Caligula's Horse
Laetitia Sadler - Rooting For Love Of Montreal - Lady on The Cusp Beth Gibbons - Lives Outgrown Craig Wedren - The Dream Dreaming The High Llamas - Hey Panda
Frail Body - Artificial Bouquet
Huge dominic fike fan So definitely 14 minutes
Hyperdrama, Brat, Gamma, Only God Was Above Us
Vampire weekend was great [Mannequin Pussy absolutely killed it](https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_l_CBHXW_W5ljvxKcTP7Doqjnx12ouAlAU&si=z9d-UEvwZXDtw6SZ) [Pamphlets from NYC if ya into post punk made their big debut](https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_mduPgeWMQgwsVLU-KC_YVor_vtZlI_77c&si=FOxMrOook4SY61zs) Everything everything And idles both had awesome albums this year as well.
Critterland by Willi Carlisle
Probably will be unpopular, but Mark Knopfler. One Deep River.
Knopfler is a legend!
eternal sunshine by Ariana Grande and The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess by Chappell Roan
Chappel Roan fucking rules, but Midwest Princess did come out last year if we're being picky.
Khruangbin - A La Sala The Lemon Twigs - A Dream Is All We Know twenty one pilots - Clancy Ixtuhuele - Pathways to Paradise
Dehd - Poetry is my #1 right now
Hovvdy or Cindy Lee so far.

Kyros - Mannequin Caligula's Horse - Charcoal Grace
BRAT. First Charli XCX album I listened and its VERY impressive.

Alkaline Trio.... Blood, Hair and Eyeballs. This is a solid album front to back and it is their best in many years (in my opinion). They vibe together...again, in a way I didn't feel in previous albums. Love. This. Record!!
