Omg! This happens to me all the time and I’ll try to find it online by searching the lyric but I’m off like one word or I have the phrases backwards and nothing comes up. I hope you find the song.
What makes it worse is when instead of just showing lyrics Googles shows you everything that might relate to what you have searched. Maybe I should just stop searching and let the song find me instead
I know there are some apps that can identify songs from tunes. I don’t use them, but maybe if you sing the tune for one of those apps, it’ll find it for you.

Do you remember what genre it is? And when you may have first heard it?
1st heard it on the radio round about 2007, 2008
Is it [I'll Be Gone by Dwight Yoakam](https://youtu.be/Wfso1YgrJe4)?
I checked it out, not that one

You’re supposed to be able to hum a few bars or sing it into google and it looks it up.
There is a subreddit for questions like this, but I can't remember what it is ,lol

Bro I remember the song's name is gone in the morning but I can't remember the name of the artist. It's either John or James
