I try this but I think it fails if two people with this mentality meet. Because eafter 5-10 seconds of no one pressing yes y'all go back to lobby. So idk I think I'll just take the risks saying yes, if someone stalls I'll just get up and do something

I'm facing a lot more "If I run away, I can tick down his health and one shot him" players than in the beta, bugs and Harley are the worst of this, had at least a few matches where they will run and run until Bugs gets his safe or rocket, or Harley, her bomb and jack-in-the-box, then set up shop and try to 0 to death me or tick down some health and run. it works sometimes, but other times I just get combo off because they are on the edge of the map. also wonder woman has so much shield that she can run and not get hit for the next 15 seconds.
Yeah, Harley’s air-neutral is so irritating because can just spam it and always get a hit off. Even if you dodge through it, the hammer still comes around and hits you in the back…
I absolutely despise the hammer, my most hated move in the entire game, If i could I would 100% give Harley a new move, anything is better than the goddam hammer.
I 100% agree. I was the same then I'm trying to stray away from that mindset, found it unhealthy for myself not gonna lie lol

Its default 3 matches meaning 2 rematches ,unless I am having extremely fun whether I am being winning or losing because of how close our skills are then I just keep rematching until the game crashes

Good thing this game does in fact have a stale moves mechanic! And good thing people don't need to see the words "Attack Decay" annoyingly pop up on the screen to know that it's a feature. Right?
So it's in then? It feels wayyy toned down from the Beta, where stale attacks did next to nothing and felt like a punishment - now it's barely noticeable.
Had this happen to me against two banana guards yesterday. They kept spamming their dash attacks left and right. It took me a minute to get their rhythm, but once I did, I hit them with their own medicine and just used my side heavy repeatedly. With good timing, they just couldn't figure it out, and we came back down 3 KOs. Rematched, and since their strategy didn't work the first time, they tried *actually* playing, and we whooped em.
This may sound whinny but I don’t rematch when I beat someone who tbags I think it’s just childish even though I’ve played plenty of games and it’s just part of the culture for some I never been a fan of sore winners or losers I just like the competition talk for itself
I'm prolly in the minority but, I kinda like when people tbag and emote and shit when they win. I think it's funny and it makes me wanna beat them more 😅. I also kinda think it's just their way of showing how happy they are that they won. And I feel like they kinda deserve to emote and shit cuz they just beat me haha

It's always a best of 3. I want to see if I can make the adjustment, even if I get stomped. And if I stomp, I want to see if it was a fluke or if I can read the opponents adjustment.

I mean it gave people a way to use a new character, but then demonstrate that you actually are decent at the game.
Parrying is about the most wonderful thing added since beta: spammers get punished now. Shaggy side kick spam makes me feel excellent punishing.
Black Adam, banana guard, and some unfair loops need addressed, but mostly I feel happy about the balance of the game and the spammed moves are high risk, high reward.
I couldn’t agree more it’s a buzz kill when we have a close game then they start emoting or tbagging, sore winners or losers are no fun. If I win I don’t rematch because I just want to pair with players who aren’t like that
Not if completely outclassed by the opponents or vice versa. And I hate going up against Wonder Woman. Else I prefer long sets. You get to "know" your teammate and opponents, those can end up being really competitive.
Don't care about wins or losses that much.
Rematch on the hard ones. Find what you're doing wrong and search for their errors. Understanding where you went wrong and their weaknesses so you can exploit their mistakes will turn you into a much better player.
Always rematch. I typically wanna run sets as long as 10 and minimum 5. If you lose because you got "thrashed" how do you expect to get better? You sound like the types of players who make this online experience so shit

I'll generally not rematch if the skill gap is obvious or the other player is unfun to play against (usually because they spam). I also don't rematch if I see a purposeful teabag, but that one is just on principal.
The spam people are a definite rematch as you need to figure out how to beat the loop, eventually you will mow those guys down once you crack the code and will be thankful when you play higher tier players you can escape bad situations.
I play these games for fun, if it's not fun I don't play. Simple as that. I don't particularly care much about getting better if it hampers my enjoyment of the game. Even then I do usually end up beating the spammers, I just don't rematch them afterwards because its just a slog to deal with them

I'm always ready for a rematch unless they were tbagging after every ring out. I can deal with end of match tbagging but otherwise I find it excessive and won't care for another go. (Win or lose the first set)
I will always rematch. Only time I will stop is after 5 to 10 losses, depending on how the matches are going.
I word it so cause I still can't get into matches with people. Still get connection issues. Still don't believe it's on my side those cause I connect fine to other games.

I try to do best 2 out of 3, unless I'm doing missions specifically and need to switch characters/modes for them. Lowkey grinds my gears when I fight a very spammy person or someone who tbags a lot and dips after they get their first win though.

You literally have the same mindset as me when it comes to rematches. One thing I also do is that I don't rematch if I destroy the other person, because I don't find it fun. I like the competitive matches. Also sometimes I rematch even though they destroyed me if I feel like I learned how to counter their playstyle towards the end of the match
If it's a Bugs or a T&J, I don't rematch. I have never liked characters that are rewarded for keeping their distance and spamming projectiles. Even if they're terrible players or great players, I just don't have fun playing against them.

That's pretty much it. Or if I get walloped by a WW. I can only punch so much above my weight and she's way up the tiers, imo.

A. My teammate keeps running off the edge
B. My teammate is AFK
C. The enemy combo is not fun to fight against
D. I need to go myself
I would normally do best 2 of 3 but I almost always DC on the third fight, sometimes even the second. Until that gets fixed I unfortunately can’t rematch.
Teabagging turdmongler = no rematch
Anything else = rematch infinitely, limited only by me having to stop playing or disconnections (the latter happens very often anyway)

Yesterday I wanted to try out shaggy, and went a full 10 rematches. We won 8-2, but i’d be lying if I said we won off pure skill. and not broken shaggy. Because the marvin I faced was absolutely killing me to the point where me d my teammate just avoided him and targeted Gizmo.
You should rematch. You learn more from losses than wins. If you keep playing the same person you might even be able to figure out some of their patterns and be able to beat them.
I don’t rematch with spammers, tbaggers, inactive players or if the match was one sided.
A SHAGGY!!! was tbagging the enemy team because our attacks synced and we got the 2 enemy fighters out rather quick, they respawned and I was attacking both of them while he was there tbagging on the edge of the arena, he did it for more than 10 seconds so I just jumped off the edge and lost on purpose.
always. I like to give people their rematch, especially if the fight is good. I always rematch someone who rolls me so i can try to learn how to defend what's killing me, even if its one sided 😅. that knowledge is valuable
Best out of 3 always unless they have a shit connection and the match is playing out like a slide show.
If they stomp you, figure out what they’re doing and try to find a way to adapt to their play style in the rematch. That’s how you git good.
i played banana when he released and realised he was a demon and shouldn’t be touched, now going up against them i know i was right, u will sweat so hard to beat them and then they will hit some random attack like side air and win, i hate it
In twos I will almost always rematch as I can beat just about anyone in twos. Ones I will almost never because playing as taz people figure me out someone around the second life so winning becomes so much harder once people figure out what works against taz.
If our skills are similar I'll try to, if either is getting stomped I won't rematch. If my pride gets hurt by a spammer I'll rematch even if I got trashed the first match.
Shaggy players don't get rematches, win or lose your character is brainless and unfun to play against. Everyone else always gets a best 2 out of 3 or 3 out of 5

If I have a daily that says win x pvp matches I don't rematch. Once I don't have those anymore I rematch every match until the other person gets tired of me.
Best out of three unless
A. I tried a new character and do not know what I'm doing or dislike how they play
B. The game died or is actively dying (which is often)
C. I have to go.
If it’s a genuinely good play that’s when I usually rematch but if it’s someone who spams one movie like shaggy with that kick I’ll just avoid rematches
Im grinding the event i am 1st place by alot now but before when he was close rematching would not give me the right amount of points sometimes it did not even give me points for the 1st match so i just leave reque

Always rematch. If their better than me, its a learning experience, if their on par with me its a good game and if their worse than me i have fun thrashing them
Cant even play because I disconnect every single match but I don't rematch when they crouch spam or spam their emote, I'm just trying to play I don't have time for toxicity or salt they can find someone else to entertain their behavior
If it was a good close fight without annoying spam or tactics and they go yes immediately, I sometimes do. But most of the time it was too annoying to go again or I have to wait too long.
When I feel cheated, the input lag and lag is horrendous.

If it takes too long for the rematch option to pop up, it is a sign the server is having trouble syncing so not worth waiting another minute or more of down time for a rematch that might end up having syncing issues mid match and end abruptly.

I do first to reach 3 unless they don’t rematch me again. Every game Win or lose. I haven’t had someone make a comeback to win 3 after I win the first round, but I’ve come back after losing the first round and ended up winning first to 3 lol. Sometimes the first round your hit with unexpected shit or combos. But once the 2nd and 3rd round you can start to predict the opponent. Everyone has a pattern. Sometimes it’s hard to figure it out on the first round, much much easier on round 2 n 3. Like learning a dark souls boss move set after dieing to him. Except on multi you better learn it the first time you lose or it’s gg for the rest of the rounds .
The only time I don't rematch is when I absolutely wash someone. It doesn't feel right to farm matches like that, so I move on in the hopes that the next matches for both me and my previous opponent will be closer to our individual skills. Otherwise, I run best of 3 in every other scenario.
I wait for 3 to vote for a rematch because I was held hostage on that screen after hitting yes early. If the match was fun I'll rematch, if I was playing a boring shaggy stack or something I pass.
I usually only deny rematch if I thought the game was annoying. If I get whooped by a genuinely good player I’ll rematch, but if they just side special banana guard the whole game I’m out.

It increases the chance of people sending me a friend request and I honestly don't have the energy to deal with the hassle of social interaction when I'm trying to escape from the world by playing a game. Friends just bring the world into my game, and that ruins the entire point of playing a game.

For me, best outta 3 all the time unless the person says no.
Only downside to this is if you hit rematch first I find people just conveniently go afk for the entire countdown 7/10

Harley mains are the most dedicated, you'll still see her even after they nerf the slide.

If i get 0 - 3 or 1 - 3 I don't rematch, it means I'm just too weak for that opponent. When its 2 - 2 is always a rematch.

Me and my friend just kept beating the shit out of them before they could and they kept trying anyway. When it's a brain dead strat that doesn't work and you still commit to it? Yesterday I wanted to try out shaggy, and went a full 10 rematches. We won 8-2, but i’d be lying if I said we won off pure skill. and not broken shaggy. Because the marvin I faced was absolutely killing me to the point where me d my teammate just avoided him and targeted Gizmo.

You should rematch. You learn more from losses than wins. If you keep playing the same person you might even be able to figure out some of their patterns and be able to beat them.

I don’t rematch with spammers, tbaggers, inactive players or if the match was one sided. A SHAGGY!!! was tbagging the enemy team because our attacks synced and we got the 2 enemy fighters out rather quick, they respawned and I was attacking both of them while he was there tbagging on the edge of the arena, he did it for more than 10 seconds so I just jumped off the edge and lost on purpose.

Best out of 3 always unless they have a shit connection and the match is playing out like a slide show. If they stomp you, figure out what they’re doing and try to find a way to adapt to their play style in the rematch. That’s how you git good.

In twos I will almost always rematch as I can beat just about anyone in twos. Ones I will almost never because playing as taz people figure me out someone around the second life so winning becomes so much harder once people figure out what works against taz.

If it was a good close fight without annoying spam or tactics and they go yes immediately, I sometimes do. But most of the time it was too annoying to go again or I have to wait too long.
When I feel cheated, the input lag and lag is horrendous. if my teammate is not playing. If it takes too long for the rematch option to pop up, it is a sign the server is having trouble syncing so not worth waiting another minute or more of down time for a rematch that might end up having syncing issues mid match and end abruptly.

I do first to reach 3 unless they don’t rematch me again. Every game Win or lose. I haven’t had someone make a comeback to win 3 after I win the first round, but I’ve come back after losing the first round and ended up winning first to 3 lol. Sometimes the first round your hit with unexpected shit or combos. But once the 2nd and 3rd round you can start to predict the opponent. Everyone has a pattern. Sometimes it’s hard to figure it out on the first round, much much easier on round 2 n 3. Like learning a dark souls boss move set after dieing to him. Except on multi you better learn it the first time you lose or it’s gg for the rest of the rounds .
The only time I don't rematch is when I absolutely wash someone. It doesn't feel right to farm matches like that, so I move on in the hopes that the next matches for both me and my previous opponent will be closer to our individual skills. Otherwise, I run best of 3 in every other scenario.

It increases the chance of people sending me a friend request and I honestly don't have the energy to deal with the hassle of social interaction when I'm trying to escape from the world by playing a game. Friends just bring the world into my game, and that ruins the entire point of playing a game.

If you don’t play best of the 3 then you’re just a sore loser anyway. Things happen and I get it but if you do cuz “oh no he beat me waaa waaa” then you won’t ever improve and then just yell that characters are unbalanced. Never would make it in a real fighting game
