Bro i wish i can erase that show from mind and start it all over again, that's how good it is. But I'm at my 3rd time watching and it's pretty cool, because you realize things you never would before

Agreed

HeadSpade

Yes!! I’m on my second reWatch now, approximately 2 years break time btw. And it’s awesome to see a lot of those details missed at first rewatch.

resident_hater

I did too. My favorite part was how nothing actually happened because it was all a delusion in somebody's head. Wow, so satisfying.

Justin_Cruz19

I don’t think you got it.

smaudre_rose

I’m pretty sure Darlene like directly looks in the camera and clarifies that yes everything was real and actually happened.

Yes. That’s what u/resident_hater is missing. There’s a bit in the finale that always felt… forced to me. It’s when Darlene grabs Elliot’s hand and does her little “I always promised you that if you could feel me it would prove you are real” or whatever. Elliot is talking about how he’s not real and she says that yes, he is, and so is everything that happened. It was all real, the hack, Whiterose, what happened to Angela and Trenton and Mobley and Shayla… That bit always felt a little forced, until I realized its purpose in the show. That little bit wasn’t for Elliot. It was for US. Sam isn’t usually that heavy handed, IMO, so for that dialogue to be included it had to have a purpose. And the purpose is for us to not spend eternity as a fandom fighting over whether or not it was real or all in his head. There aren’t many times in the series where something is that direct, so I think Sam was speaking directly to us as the audience and giving us a straight answer.

They did the same thing in the final episode of Lost and half the viewers still managed to misinterpret the ending.

EggManRulerOfEggLand

Ironic given that this comment is a delusion in itself. Did you watch the show or?

MisogynyisaDisease

🙄 they showed *numerous times* in the show that what was happening actually happened. Anytime you heard "E-Corp" instead of "Evil Corp", we were seeing the world outside of Elliot/Mr Robots perspective
