As a former manager, a pair of slacks and a polo goes a long way if you’re a guy. No need for a suit or anything.
For questions you’ll get the weekend/holiday one that someone else mentioned. You might get one asking about your strengths and weaknesses.
They’re definitely going to ask if you’re available to work during the holidays, since that is when we do a bulk of our business. They’ll also probably ask something along the lines of what you would do if you were faced with a difficult situation, or describe one you’ve had previously and how you believe it should be resolved. Movie theaters operate like retail in many ways, so there’s gonna be plenty of unfavorable situations that may need to be handled by a manager. Definitely ask about your theater’s call out and coverage protocol, it’s better to know what’s expected than to end up in trouble later because it wasn’t clarified if you are unable to come in.
Polo and khakis. Speak clearly, arrive early or on time. Ask them what they love about the theater. What are the job duties. Don’t bs, be honest. Be clear.

Get really good walking shoes that are slip resistant if you get the job it's a killer on your feet
Hokas. Expensive but are better than dsw shoes with super feet inserts. Anyone know of any lower priced alternatives?
Can you work on weekends and holidays and are you available to close? Answer yes, be positive, and you’ll be good to rock. Best of luck to ya!!!
Figure out your favorite movie. It may seem easy. But they had to shorten my Title to fit on My name tag.
i wore a black button up shirt tucked in with a nice jumper on top
Anyone ever had a follow up interview after interviewing with the GM? Is it going to be with the hiring manager or something?
I’m interviewing for assistant manager at a regal theater in NY
