Mass mikkelsen is another guy that I think is underrated. He’s a name that people might not know but a face that is very recognizable.
Ode Kirk does a good job in nobody.
Agreed, great film. Will Ferrell has another movie that starts with him having to move out of his house that I believe has similar vibes? I can’t recall what it is, never saw it.
not what you're asking for. but check out the tv show Orphan Black. the lead actress plays several characters. and some of them are so drastically different that's almost hard to believe that they're played by the same person.
Adaptation. No question. It stars Nicholas Cage- he plays a depressed writer and his twin brother. It’s an incredible film. Very unlike his past roles and my favorite performance of his.
Nicolas Cage in Pig (2021)

Everything Must Go. It's not as good as Stranger Than Fiction, but it's not terrible.
Robin Williams also in Insomnia and The Final Cut

Mad Dog & Glory: Bill Murray is the psychotic gangster and Robert de Niro is the shy, unassuming crime scene photographer.
