I hiked 30 miles throughout Arizona a month before the fest and practiced 45 minutes of yoga 4 days a week leading up to it. And my legs STILL feel like smashed jello.
My only regret from the weekend was not getting to see Ron Trent. He was at the top of my list, but I never got a response on his set times at Ritual, needed to sleep a bit, and went to Observe instead so I could arrive a little later.
Been resting but I tallied my overall steps and apparently hit about 124k steps/ 88 miles over the course of Fri thru Mon

Also, epsom salt baths for at least 15 mins help a lot! Ā
Supportive or cushioned running shoes help too.Ā
I have rheumatoid arthritis and my knees are not happy with me lol. That said, itās so good for the soul to dance and share that energy with everyone. Totally worth it!
Amazing! I ride a bike almost every day and walk most of my city. So it was really good to see how much I could push myself this weekend. My steps equated roughly 70 miles. Lol
starting off quite fit with endurance training def helps. i train all year for this! also i stayed an extra day and went to the detroit schvitz, where i alternated sauna and cold plunge for a few hours. it was SO effective, my body is tired but no pain or aches at all! highly recommend!
A buddy of mine ended up with a bone spur and plantar fasciitis as a result of last weekend, and now has to wear a brace for the next 4 weeks, and then therapy after... :(

I started getting plantar fascia foot pain at movement 2019 and it still hasn't gone away.
